What is non-inflatable paddle board?
Paddle boarding is a well-known water sports. Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is done by propelling a board through high waves or surfing. It is a great source of workouts and thrill of exploring the ocean's beauty is unimaginably exciting. These exhilarating adventures are drawing many young people towards this sport.
To get started with this exciting journey you will need some of the basic equipment a paddle board and a paddle. A paddle board comes in two types a non-inflatable paddle board which is also known as hard or rigid board. The other type is inflatable paddle board. They are great for portability and extremely travel-friendly. But non-inflatable paddle boards guarantee durability and last longer. They are usually made from hard material such as epoxy, fiberglass or carbon. Hard paddle boards are the best option if you tend to go for longer expeditions, catching waves, racing or SUP surfing.
Non-inflatable boards are great at balancing weight of the surfer since it is very rigid and not wobbly at all. It is specifically made thicker at the standing area, in the middle where generally more pressure is exerted. The nose and tail areas are comparatively thinner. It helps to optimize rider’s weight and provide maximum stability when riding. It has fast speed in higher waves and renders greater agility. They can easily withstand stronger winds while remaining steady. They also help in gliding through the water while making swift movement.
The only drawback of choosing a non-inflatable paddle board is that is not very portable and requires larger space for storage but if you look forward to performance it is undoubtedly the best choice. You can straight away go into the water to surf the tides without having to inflate your board every time.
