So I’m writing a book for shiggles, its not something to be posted or published— moreorless just something for me to do as a cognitive exercise, yk? maintaining a plot, ensuring i’m using proper grammar and puntcuation, and just writing a coherent story, but I’m not going to just do the bare minimum, I do want to write it with the standards you’d expect a published book to have, in case I say “fuck it lets publish”

I think what’s holding me back from genuinely writing a book with the intention to publish is because of how yall treat GRRM😭 like yall have been sweating this man DOWNNN and i get it, its a good series, it’s been over a decade, but this man is damn near 80 lmao. I’m not mad at some old nigga from new jersey for not finishing his extensive book series with thousands of history and a fully developed language.

Okay,, im realizing i might have a bias but hear me out..

immediately after morgan was gone, we got more macho men, alvez (love), simmons (love), even reid to some extent— and while I love the aforementioned three, (yes. not including morgan.), I do appreciate the elegance and charisma that Stephen Walker brought to the team. I mean up until walker, it felt a bit weird that every moc that they brought on after morgan was being type casted as some big brolic sex god (shoutout matt, i know he be fucking) who wears shirts so tight it’ll make Toji say “i gotta step my game up”

Walker was different, like you know the appeal 90s men had? that smooth, suave way of talking? the way they’d carry themselves, gliding through the room like they had jazz playing in the background? If morgan, alvez, and simmons were 00s men, walker was the 90s.

esp since the og members can be a little emotional and overzealous at times. Tara, Luke (after he calmed down), Stephen, and Matt brought an air of coolness to the team that we haven’t felt since the early days, back when morgan wore clothes and not those strong ass muscle tees.

okay, can i just say that i love Tara Lewis DOWWWWWNNNN. like i knew i’d love her because i loved Lana of Archer and Aisha Tyler has the sexiest, most elegant voice I have ever heard right next to Angela Basset?

Like my two female favs are fs Alex Blake and Tara Lewis. Now bc of that, I had to skip season 10 completely because I cant stand Callahan, and I don’t think it’s because I hate her character, i just think it’s because Jennifer Love Hewitt reminds me of my mom both body language wise and general facial features (obvs not skin tone but yk) so whenever I watch her on shows, I’m put into this weird uncanny valley thing where I see my mom but I don’t see her. I wish Alex was able to stay longer because I loved her mother/son dynamic with Reid and I feel like she and Emily would have had a top tier dynamic, but, introducing Tara Lewis played by thee goddess Aisha Taylor? Oh yeah, now that, I can rock with.

Only thing left to say is I would like to reaffirm my attraction to Spencer Reid but also, mention that Blake is absolutely stunning as well, brains and beauty.

This was my longest episode by far in early drafts (almost 90 pages) and I had to cut a lot out to keep it a neat hour-ish long in length. Due to the contents of the episode, this is also an entirely team black focused episode, with no team green characters.
