Glancing up at him from where she sat, Hayley couldn't stop the small smile from crossing her lips. That was one of the things she loved about Elijah, he had always been so understanding. She never had to further explain herself to him, he always just knew. "Still it's not right for me to take frustrations out on you," she muttered softly as she pushed herself up and walked towards him. "Have you heard anything more? Any word on Klaus and how we're going to bring him home?" Hayley kept her voice soft, it wasn't that she needed Klaus for herself but Hope needed him. The Mikaelson siblings needed him. "Are you doing okay?"
He could sense her dismay, but in truth, could not blame such unravelled feelings. She had a lot going on, of which involved her daughter. He would never truly understand such a connection, despite how this hurt him. He had never had a child of his own, but Hope was as close as it came. He also worried for her, and was deliberating a next course of action. He felt helpless, not being able to make the situation better for them. He nodded, exhaling as be did. "You do not need to apologise, you are simply worried and no one should expect you to change your feelings for that."

Many would call her a bitch but she would simply call herself someone who got what she done done. She had always been the type to do whatever it took to have the best outcome. There were few who saw the true Hayley, those few were far between. One who managed to worm their way through the walls and break her down was one Katherine Pierce. She never expected to enjoy the others company or form a close friendship with her but it had come anyway.
Seeing her now was no different, the hug was familiar and the presence was needed. Out of all the crazy things that were going on around her at least there was one bit of normalcy. "Oh stop flattering me, you've already got my friendship," she muttered softly as she let out a small sigh. "I missed you too, Kat. You've been away for far too long."
@lilxwclf
There was still many things people didn't know about Katherine . All people knew her as EVIL PSYCHOTIC BITCH WHO ONLY LOOKS OUT FOR HERSELF . they are not completely wrong but they didn't truly knew her . Not like Emily did or Hayley does . There had been few in her lifetime that katherine truly let in . Know her other self she tries so hard to protect and would actually help if they needed saving . no matter what happens to her .
she died before she got the chance to leave to new orleans . She should have just took elena's body and left as planned but she wanted to make the mystic gang suffer . It was never about stefan as most believed . ❝ ⸻ Motherhood really suits you ❞ Katherine smiled and you would think they would attack one another and in a way they did .... by hugging each other . ❝ God , I actually really missed you . ❞

Spotting her daughter speaking with the stranger Hayley could feel her brows pulling together in a frown. She didn't like the fact that someone that wasn't family, or a close friend, was able to come in so easily and get so close to her daughter. Though the closer she got the more worried she became, not only was a stranger here but the advice made Hayley shudder.
"While you're not wrong with your train of thought," she started as she entered the room and looked at them both, "just doing whatever you want will lead to consequences whether you're ready to deal with them or not they'll be there," she explained as her arms crossed and her eyes narrowed. "And I would appreciate you not teaching my daughter non-sense that will lead her down a road she's not ready for," Hayley all but growled as she moved towards them, "now who the hell are you and what are you doing here?"
@lilxwclf
Hope took the opportunity when little her was by herself to talk to her . She wanted her father . She wanted her family . Maybe if she corrupted herself a bit she wouldn't be so weak . She was done playing hero to the salvatore school . Done being alaric's little puppet and for him to throw her DEAD EVIL FATHER in her face .
Younger hope could feel her own self . There was instant trust between them . ❝ So ... If you ever feel like doing something ... just DO IT . Never hold back . What matters is what you think . Screw what everyone else thinks as long as we're happy . ❞

do you ever think about your parents?
"If I had of been asked this when I was younger the answer probably would have been yes, more or less curious on what they were like but now I have to say no I don't, not anymore. It's hard to think of someone that you have never met and only heard about through another pack."

Giving him a look of disbelief Hayley could feel her brow quirking ever so slightly. "You mean to tell me that you want to stay stuck here instead of getting out to try and find your way home or to a better place?" she shot back quickly as she crossed her arms.
He exhaled a sigh -- he knew better than to persuade the younger folk, often being adamant and stubborn, even if unwise in their decision making. He did not care to ask of her motives, knowing too much information often got him in more trouble. "I see -- well , have at it, and don't say I did not warn you."

It was the words, coming back from the dead, that made her pause for a moment. On one hand she didn't want to know, she didn't care but there was a small part of her that called her a liar that she did care. "What happened to you?" the question hung in the air as she left it open for him, she wouldn't force him to tell her but she would listen if he wanted to talk. At his next question Hayley could only scoff and roll her eyes, as if she would be dumb enough to tell him that. "Why do you want to know where my daughter is Tyler?"
Touchy didn't cover half of what he was currently feeling. Back from the dead and forced to deal with everyone from his past the moment he woke up was a bit of a shock to the system. Hell, he might actually still be dead and this was just some messed up punishment for all of his screw ups. "Coming back from the dead will do that." Without skipping a beat he filled the glass back up and then reached over the bar to grab another. Looks like they were about to have a serious conversation that he didn't want to be sober for. "Where's the kid?"

There was so much going on that Hayley felt as though she were going in an endless loop. How could one accomplish it all in one go? How could one do it all? She was left with no answers. She wished that she could make everything alright again. That she could bring Klaus home to the family and their daughter, that she could deal with Hope without any issues. She wished that she could just have a normal day. "Sorry," she breathed with a shake of her head, turning to face him she gave him a soft smile, "I'll be alright"
He had kept his distance, not wishing to disturb things. He knew more important things were at hand, such as his brothers freedom and trying to regain Hope's sense of humanity. He knew his own curiosities and feelings did not take priority, and thus he had dwelled his thoughts elsewhere. However, this did not mean he did not worry about Hayley and how this must be making her feel. Therefore, he had taken himself to their new residence in aim of speaking with her, and hoping she did not mind his interference. He moved slowly towards the doorway, learning against the doorframe with a heaved sigh. "I was not lurking , just checking I was not disturbing you." He replied, exhaling another sigh. "I wanted to check you are alright."

If you had a choice, would you have picked Klaus to be your baby daddy?
"There are a lot that would think that he was the worst choice ever but I disagree. There is no one else that I would want to be Hope's father. If given the chance to go back and have a do-over I would still choose Klaus as her father even though our start wasn't the smoothest."

elijah, klaus, tyler, or jackson? such choices!
"Such choices for what?" pausing Hayley could feel her brows pull together in a slight frown as she thought. "They're all amazing people. Jackson was an amazing partner and he stood by my side no matter what, I will always be thankful for him," taking in a deep breath she felt her lips grow into a soft smile, "Klaus is the best father that I could have ever wanted for Hope, he helps me when it's needed and he will give his life for his daughter a trait that is highly respected. He is Hopes father and the best co-parent I could ask for." Her smile grew softer yet, warmer even, "Elijah is a special one. There truly is no words to describe him. He is the reason why Hope and I got the chance we did. He is the reason for a lot of things... he's Elijah," yet the more she thought about Tyler her face turned towards a small frown. "While Tyler and I have had our differences and we have both done things that I'm sure we regret... or at least I regret, he is still alright. He is a good friend to those close to him and he is loyal, despite the past and our differences he's a good man."

ultimate top ten ships meme → the originals dynamics (as voted by my followers) #5. hayley/hope “Dear Zoe… or Kaitlyn… or Angela. To my little girl. Your dad just asked if this was a love letter. I guess it kind of is. I never got to know my mother. I have no idea what she must have thought when she carried me. So, I thought I’d write to you, so you can know how happy I am at this very moment. How much your father and I can’t wait to meet you… And, I want to make you a promise, of three things that you will have that I never did: a safe home, someone to tell you that they love you every single day, and someone to fight for you, no matter what.In other words, a family. So, there you go, baby girl. The rest, we’re going to have to figure out together. I love you. Your mom.”

Despite not knowing her biological family or the fact that she was a werewolf, life was perfectly normal for Hayley until she hit the age of thirteen. It was the accident of killing someone while drunk on a boat that triggered her curse and at the age of thirteen that was when she found herself making her way through the world on her own. She spent many years hopping from pack to pack, trying to find her place in the world. It wasn't until she came across one Tyler Lockwood that she thought she might have found a decent place at last but thanks to a one night stand with Klaus Mikaelson that failed. A wonderful friendship was ruined and her life was taking another turn. If one were to ask her if she regrets her night with Klaus she would say that she wouldn't take it back in a second, not with Hope being in her life now. Life had always been rocky for Hayley but when Hope came around things actually started to seem a little bit brighter. She had a family and love thanks to the Mikaelsons. She found a husband in Jackson, despite his untimely ending and being gone far too soon. She found a sense of unconditional love for her child and vowed to always protect her. Even now that hasn't changed, everything she does is for her daughter and she will give her the best life she can give her.

Her inability to find and locate Hope made her feel like a complete waste, how could a mother not find her own daughter? Her inability to find Klaus or Rebekah was maddening for she hoped one would cause enough chaos given what was going on. Her inability to find Freya or Elijah made her heart feel heavy for god only knows what was going on out there. Deep down Hayley knew that it would all be over soon and her family would come around once more, that everyone would be alright and that they would find a way to bring Klaus home but the waiting is what got to her. There was a small part of her that feared the worst, that feared she'd lose one of them forever. "If you're going to lurk in the shadows at least have the decency to talk instead of letting silence consume the room," she huffed as she took in an annoyed breath.

She still remembered the last time she saw him. Their last interaction, despite the fact that Klaus was the father but if Tyler had of succeeded there would have been no Hope today. A shudder ran through her at the thought. "And since when have I cared if it's your drink or not?" She questioned with a small smirk shot in his direction. There was a small part of her that did miss their close friendship, there were somethings that you just couldn't forget about. "Someone's touchy today, don't worry I don't have him on a leash so he wont come bothering you."
Out of everyone he expected to find him in this crappy little bar, Hayley had to be the last person on his mind. Given the fact that she was playing house with Klaus and her little blood sucking family, it seemed to him like this place would be below her now. "That was my drink." Anger bubbled up in his chest. That familiar sting of rejection stung his stomach like curdled milk, and to think they used to be friends. "What? The king of assholes not going to join us to piss on my day even more?" He wasn't bitter at all.

Being lost and alone was not something new for Hayley, there were many years she had spent her life like this. What sucked now was the fact that her daughter wasn't with her and her family was scattered and their condition was unknown. Walking around the bar she let out a soft sigh, she wished she could track them down but every place she turned up she was going down another empty road. A familiar scent crossed her nose as she walked around the room once more and Hayley could feel a frown pulling at her brows. Moving towards the bar where the familiar face sat she could feel a growl building in her chest but she shoved it down. The closer she got the deeper her frown became especially when his words reached her ears, "no I don't think I will," Hayley stated as she moved to sit beside him only to grab the glass in his hands to drink it herself.
Death was scary, cold, and at the start painful but once you got past the body dying it became rather peaceful. Tyler was at peace, finally. After all the shit he had been through he finally got a moment to rest, to see Vicki again, but just as everything was coming to pass he was torn from the cold clutch of death and sent crawling to the surface of the Earth again. Again. Instead of freaking out he did what anyone would do who has died and comeback as many times as he had, he went to a bar. Bottle after bottle, shot after shot, he numbed himself as much as he could before the wolf was out of the bag and one of his friends found him again. Course, it really didn't take long. "Wait," he threw up his hand to the shadow that came over him. "let me finish this."

"Well that sucks to be them," she commented with a shrug of her shoulders. She knew that no matter what she wouldn't get a simple broken bone and yes she probably should wait but she couldn't. There were people to find and things to take care of. "No death wish just business to take care of," Hayley huffed with a shake of her head.
"I wouldn't go out there if I were you -- the last person to try slipped and came back with a supposed broken wrist. Do you have a death wish?" He was tired of advising, but in truth wished to make himself useful in unprecedented times. He could tell boredom was lurking leading to some unwise decision making and the least he could do was be around to supervise.

Getting out any second she could, Hayley was on the hunt for her family. She was on the hunt for the Mikaelsons and her own child. She was determined to find them and ensure their safety no matter what it took. That was how she found herself, now soaked from the rain, making her way into the bar. This was usually the type of place some of her family would find themselves and she hoped that she would luck out and that a familiar face would come around. "Sorry?" pausing she shook her head and pushed her wet hair back, "I was just looking for someone and hoped that they might have been here."
the storm outside seemed to be gradually relinquishing its grip on beacon hills, thankfully. gabriel had found solace in the dimly lit bar tucked away in a corner of town. the rhythmic patter of rain against the windows served as a backdrop to the low hum of conversation and the often few claps of thunder that made the windows rattle. seated at the worn wooden counter, gabriel nursed a tumbler of fine scotch, his fingers idly tracing the rim of the glass. the amber liquid swirled, mirroring the turbulent winds outside. the man was a renowned hunter of supernatural beings, and his family name and legacy was one that had been carried through centuries. for a human, his senses were incredibly keen, and he could damn near feel the eyes that were glued to him. "may i help you?" he finally spoke, his tone gruff as he turned to face the other.
