When this all happened, yeah, I started rping outside the city with my partners because it’s easier than bumping into a screaming basement dweller who has no context of the situation. That’s over now, though, as this happened in April.

You do realize absolutely nothing would change or happen with the Richalta GM if she “admitted fault” or “apologized” like you guys say you want her to. She would just be viciously attacked some more, the harassment would continue, ect. No one can control people, and having a different view, opinion, belief, whatever, fuck even being an actual bigot is no cause for harassment, trolling, or grieving.

All I’ve seen from the other side of this is people being legitimately hateful. Death threats, and going AFTER Violette’s child. Someone yesterday literally said someone should “kick her shitty baby” irl. Despite anything Violette’s said, she’s not advocated a single time for anyone to be hurt. She is allowed to have her opinion, even if you don’t like it.

Just as I’m allowed to say words. As reasonable and sound adults, if you don’t like someone in a game, you can put them on ignore and move on with your life. Why would it bother you SO bad that someone else is having fun and RPing on a game?

I’ve seen the “community” relentlessly cyber bully a friend of mine to the point she was begging for people to stop. Violette isn’t doing that so the cracks in this alleged community delusion start to form because people are realizing they can’t control people.

Our guild is full of fantastic writers, btw. 😇 I’m not losing anything through any of this. Actually people have been joining us more than before, and we’ve had some really rich storylines go on. Anyone on the other side of this who is that upset by Violette’s mere existence, is no one I want to play with. You all need a hard reality check if the worst thing to ever happen to you is someone saying something you didn’t like on a 20 year old video game.
