im so fucking sick of otherpaws calling themselves alterhuman/nonhuman. genuinely. "b-but it's still alterhumanity!!!"

WRONG.

the definition of 'otherpaw' is someone who has an interest in quads/mask making without it being tied to an identity. tbh most of it is probably related to the stigma around using the term furry (since i've seen it described as "wearing animal masks without being a furry" before). I'm so sick of them trying to shove their way into alterhuman/nonhuman spaces as if they are a part of the community, not to mention sharing their absolutely awful takes as if we're supposed to care about what someone who doesn't experience alterhumanity/nonhumanity thinks about us.

im completely fine if someone wants to do quads/wear or make masks without being an alterhuman

but wearing a mask and doing quadrobics does NOT make you an alterhuman

stop turning our experiences into a fucking "aesthetic" or I'm gonna skewer you istfg

it bothers me that i have to filter out everything related to canine therians so that i can just...get content related to my own (not even that obscure!) theriotype on tumblr.

even searching "[theriotype] therian" still brings up posts related to canine therians,, nothing against them but i wish tumblr would remove those posts altogether from searches.

okay so now that i have discovered the wonders of BIG canvases, i immediately redid my mini 1x (i might make them canon for another au… i like them lots they’re so cute!) mostly because i noticed they. did not have most of my 1x’s traits so! behold!

i also thought the other design looked much more like a preteen than a kid, so i redid their proportions and made them much cuter lol

Not a headcanon but every time I interact with this account I think “this is so cringe. I’m part of the problem, I’m ruining forsaken”

But then i gently remind myself cringe is dead to me and I’m not hurting anyone by making silly little headcanons that make me happy

All this to say, thanks for the mods and this account for just letting feel good without overthinking, worrying that someone is going to complain about me and call me bad for expressing my interests
