…do my Minecraft villagers think I can’t talk? The player never makes any noise close to language in-game…do they know that my little crouch dance means hi? Are they learning that when the strange flying one who doesn’t speak holds out armfulls of wheat to them that means they want to trade? Are they just used to being silently shuffled away from ledges by this cryptic protector who eats golden food and doesn’t seem to need sleep?? Why have I never thought of this before, the villagers must be so confused by dealing with me…

If you would like to use gradients in builds, I highly recommend using this site. Hueblocks shows the minecraft block equivalent of any gradient created. This is definitely a time saver, and is fun to mess around with.

I think we’ve all given the Minecraft devs a lot of shit for the bugs over the years, but honestly we should thank Mojang for not selling the Minecraft updates as expansion packs or DLC. Imagine if you had to buy the Nether and The End separately for $39.99 each like with TheSims. And they strongly oppose “pay to win” as well as microtransactions. And unlike some companies, they’re completely fine with and even encourage YouTube videos of their game and don’t content claim LPs.

It may seem like a low bar, but they’re our beacon of hope in this trying time of video game history and that should not be overlooked. As the second top selling video game of all time Minecraft really set the standard.
