introducing to you, li na -- or nana, as she prefers. the typical popular girl in high school, ahead of the fashion trends, listens to the right music and never has a broken nail on her fingers. she came to wonju two years ago, and has made a splash in the town ever since. while she excels in school and appears to life the pristine pop culture life, nana has a few secrets to her and she’ll do whatever she has to to keep it that way. not everyone can be the next madonna after all and nana has grander plans than what those around her want. some inconsequential tidbits !!

her father is a successful businessman but works in the city, so he only appears during special events and sometimes for surprise weekend visits

her mother is the one who raises her, she has plans to have nana meet the perfect suitor and marry her off to be a perfect wife -- and you’ll often find her criticising any hair out of place or impropriety done by nana

there is a secret older brother that no one talks about, but nana often sends and receives letters from him. he is her biggest support in her secret rebellion against her mother

her secret rebellion--super secret !!--involves the pseudonym jun that has a number of high ranking scores on arcade leaderboards, boys clothes that help her hide who she is when she’s having fun and boys she shouldn’t be flirting with
