i mean.. it's just so funny. i feel like now is a great time to admit that i've totally paid to be on your close friends story so that i can watch your rants about the vampire diaries. it was one of my favorite shows growing up, and nothing will beat the comical genius of your initial reaction to stefussy. it had me fucking rolling, dude.

i'm beginning to realize that i will never get away from the fanmade term that is stefussy. it was created during the vampire diaries days and it will continue on forever, it's even in the urban dictionary for goodness sake. i was walking down the street the other day and someone shouted it at me.... i just... why.... has anyone else had a term created after them? @glamourstarters

𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕.

there's a sense of panic that comes the morning after when she looks over to spot rudy in her bed, sleeping blissfully. maggie had become no stranger to one night stands, especially following her calling off her engagement to her ex fiance. but this felt different. none of them had been comfortable enough to stay the night, even if they'd fallen asleep together, they made sure to scurry off by morning. her breathing finally evens, sitting up slightly in the now shared bed, trying her best not to wake him. with her bottom lip sucked between her teeth, an eyebrow raises as she takes it all in; the smooth skin of his back, his messy hair, her blanket draped perfectly over him. it was a sight that she wasn't entirely appalled by.

not necessarily something that she could find herself getting used to, but the thought is there. and it's nice. for the first time in a very long time, it's nearly welcomed. though she knows how all of these things go, and that there are probably a line of girls waiting to get their hands on rudy. so the safer option is always not to get caught up, don't get emotionally involved, and don't get your feelings hurt. running her hands through her hair, maggie lets out a soft sigh, trying not to let her mind run too far ahead of itself. it was only one night, and by tomorrow it wouldn't matter to either of them. caught in the cycle of meaningless flings, she's convinced herself that much like any other guy, rudy's got a rotation of girls coming in and out of his life.

"morning," she finally calls out, peeking over as he starts to stretch out and come back to reality. one hand reaches out to run her fingers through his hair, scratching soothingly at his scalp before she leans in, against her better judgement, to steal a slow kiss from his lips. it's only when she pulls away that she allows herself to finally get up from the bed, arms stretching over her head and a low yawn slipping from her lips. maggie leans down to grab a spare oversized t-shirt from her drawer, pulling it over her head and reaching to free her hair from the collar of the shirt. "... did you want, like, coffee or something?" she asks, hands resting lightly on her hips as she glances back at him. / @rudethp

WYR: would you rather live in a house with no internet or no heating/air conditioning?

no internet. i'd definitely take any opportunity to get back to when we all knew less about each other. i just think that there was something so peaceful about growing up before social media, you know? and my manager would just post everything for me, i'd never really have to worry about it ever again. good ol' cable television and dvds, maybe i'd get a coloring book or something to pass the time. the possibilities are really endless.

holy fuck, not you coming through with the hard hitters. i think that i'd stick with passionate short-lived affairs. there's something about the fire, the chemistry that's so intoxicating. i'd rather spend the rest of my life chasing that feeling than being bored tied to the person that i'm with. i don't do mediocre well, even as a person, or musician, everything that i do is outrageous and in your face. the thought of settling for less than that is absurd to me, but to each their own -- i'm sure it works for some people!

there i was, caught up in what i reckoned was a proper deep conversation about global warming at the met afterparty last night, thinking i was all intellectual. little did i know, we were just getting all fired up about tomorrow's weather forecast, like any pair of self-respecting brits would. at least we managed to agree on one thing: it might sodding rain. thank the heavens it's not raining, though, as i'm on a desperate mission to find my third coffee today. did i go a bit overboard with the drinks? maybe. regretting it big time today? absolutely. these thirties have been a right pain in the arse when it comes to hangovers. i could knock back a couple of bevvies, feel nothing and still wake up with a blinding headache. yeah, i guzzle water like a fish and scoff down greasy grub right before hitting the sack. i'm a bloody expert when it comes to navigating the treacherous realm of hangovers. / @glamourstarters
