noticed a punk band i like had something vaguely dogwhistly in their logo so i did some research and what i found was basically:

redditor: "this symbol wasn't typically associated with nazism when the band formed and was later coopted by skinheads within the same scene. the band themselves have been vehemently antiracist and have used their platform to fight against hate speech, colonialism, and neoliberalism throughout their career. you generally aren't going to find a band more principled and left wing than this."
