okayyy ahaha, bringing this back, I’m gonna post all those edits i did back in the day, but some of them are like a full so song, and I don’t really how this site works with video’s (this first one is my peak tho, it’s only downhill from here)

soooo, i made this a while back, more than a year a ago. But today I heard Rag’n’Bone Man’s ‘Human’ (that’s the song I used for it) and for some reason my mind went to this immediately 😂😂 so I dug it up and here it is! Okay, soooo... It’s been quite while, about a year and half. Hi, how are all of you doing? How are the boys doing? I’m totally out of the loop. I heard some things about the mythical society or something and I also know about the vlogs, but if someone could catch me up, that would be amazing. I’m gonna like, never log into this thing anymore shortly, but I can’t help being curious.

I’m gonna start rambling now, about myself and what changed in my life and what this fandom meant and all so if you don’t care, feel free to scroll on.

I started this blog in february of 2017. I wasn’t even 14 then. I’m 16 now, turning 17 in march. So much has changed since then. I’m in a way better place than I was, mentally, and I’m very grateful for that. I do think that this fandom held me up a little. GMM was like a little ray of sunshine in my day. Who knows how I would’ve ended up if I didn’t have this. On the weekends I’d stay up to like 2 AM to catch up on all the posts on here. Now, I go out to party on the weekends. I need to actually think about my future, and in a bit I’ll have to take a theoretical exam for my driver’s license (we get our license at 18 here in Belgium). I am feeling like I’m turning into an adult and I don’t want to.

I was going to ‘close down’ this blog at the end of 2019, you know, to like end the decade. I felt like I’m leaving my childhood behind and this was a big part of it. I eventually didn’t get to do it, because I’m a huge procrastinater, even on things I actually want to do.

Right now, I’m not really watching anything Rhett and Link related, but I have watched the vlog. I mainly stopped watched because it was too much food for me (but it did take me a while unsubscribe from all the channels bc it still felt like a part of me). Didn’t listen to EB anymore because they are so damn long. I think I’ll keep watching those vlogs, they feel personal again, and that’s what I really liked. 

I’m forever grateful for the time I spent on this site. Rhett and Link will always have a special place in my heart.

i was talking to one of my best friends and she reads fanfiction too, she knows that i’ve read some but not what kind or who was in it. so she started talking about it because she was closing her wattpad app on her phone and she asked if i had wattpad and i said no cuz i litteraly have space for two apps on my phone cuz it’s cheap af. i don’t know how it happened but then she was saying how awkward it is when you’re in public and a smut scene comes out of nowhere. so i said like yeah, ikr, that’s so annoying. but all i was thinking is how i’ve barely read any fic that wasn’t smut.

it does say ‘final tour of mythicality ever’ though, meaning that we could and hopefully will get another tour, that’s called something else

i mean, i did honestly think they’d be bringing the tour to at least some of europe eventually/hopefully next year, but i guess they did also go there for vidcon a couple of years back…? plus, they wouldn’t go anywhere too far without their family, and to go somewhere they’ve already been with SO many people? idk? blerggghh??

either way, i rly don’t think this is the last time they’ll do live shows. just wow. the wording on this is so definite and final. kind of sucks. sorry, my european pals.

Link & Knives Part 1. (x/x/x/x)

So Ear Biscuits got released at midnight eastern time last night, and my trusty podcast app, Overcast (not a sponsor, but seriously, best podcast app ever), immediately downloaded it for me and gave me a notification for it as I got in bed. I caved and listened to the first few seconds just to see if it really was the episode or if it was I don’t know, a blank file? This is what I heard.

The episode that was released about 20 minutes AFTER this one does not start like this. I recorded all the way to the actual episode opener, though my version doesn’t have the intro music playing over it.

Sorry about the audio quality, I tried to reduce the noise as much as possible. What you’re listening to is a recording of my phone playing a recording, so there was only so much I could do. But it’s worth a listen just to hear an innuendo-laden exchange between Rhett and Link involving soft and hard sticks.
