I went to a lot of print shops trying to print my calendar, but none of them had a "desk calendar stand". I thought of a lot of ways and finally found a calendar of the same size in the warehouse, so I bought it and took it apart.

I went to warehouse stationary to print out my design and re-installed my work on the disassembled "desk calendar bracket" by using "ring binding" method. And replaced the white ring with a black ring, which is more in line with my needs. I'm glad I could think of this way to solve the printing problem.

Size

The size of the calendar is 170x265. It is the standard desk calendar size

Why do I used Chinese and English in the Calendar？

The audience for this calendar is mainly for Chinese people overseas, so I used a combination of Chinese and English for the calendar. "2023" means 2023.

Calendars don’t need to be complicated, simple typography is the best design

The background color of the month is red, which is used to echo the seal in the illustration.

Finally I modified it like this. The name is written on the right, and a line is used to connect the name and the illustration. This looks so nice and comfortable.

This is the first typography, I found no place to write the holiday name. If the festival name is written on the illustration, it will destroy the beauty of the illustration.
