Hey, you know how the aliens (tried to) force Till to sing My Clematis? Do you think they made Mizi perform Black Sorrow?

Do you think Till and Ivan saw her perform? Did Till have his eyes on her the whole time, captivated, conscious, never looking away? Unlike when Ivan performed it?

Do you think Ivan watched Till throughout the performance, reminded of his own? The one that was dedicated to Till? And yet Till didn't even see it, wasn't conscious, didn't even look his way? Do you think Ivan slightly resented Mizi in that moment?

Tbh I think people are clipping the wrong part of the Ivantill kiss like - okay yes the big sweeping kiss is BEAUTIFUL. But have you all seen. the last kiss. the tiny, sweet kiss Ivan gives Till just before he starts to choke him. When they make eye contact and you can see the determination and love in Ivan's eyes, and for the first time, Till finally sees him back.

The cultural impact that is Round 6 needs to be studied (A list of things I've seen)

☆ - A lot of people finding out about Alien Stage's existence because of alnst twt losing their shit over it and the effect slowly spreading over to other subtwts.

☆ - The MV has gotten over 1mil views in less than 48 hours

☆ - People who knew nothing about alnst before are quickly go from curious to bawling their eyes out

☆ - As I'm typing this alnst has been trending on here for an entire day

☆ - The amount of alnst/ivantill fanart I've seen dear GOD

☆ - Some people's timelines and feeds are literally nothing but alnst. My twitter feed included.

☆ - More attention being drawn towards Mizi and Sua as a result

☆ - The sheer amount of analyses regarding Cure and some of its scenes popping up (Side note... poor, poor Till holy fuck)

So yeah. Doomed yaoi is what gets people's attention.

this morning i spoke abt round 6 with oomf, and she brought up the heartbeats at the beginning and middle of cure, so i thought tumblr would ALSO be an appropriate place to give my two cents (spoilers for alien stage under the cut if you haven't seen it already)!

so, at the beginning of cure before till starts to sing, we can hear a fast-paced heartbeat. this heartbeat belongs to till, whom we can clearly see has been put through the wringer. he's experiencing a ton of emotions, but for the sake of the show (and most likely for the sake to keep living and win), he has to repress those feelings. unlike unknown, his vocals are more relaxed and softer in the intro in comparison (until we get to the chorus of course). the reason as to why till's heartbeat is so quickly paced is most likely because he knows that either he or ivan will die; he just doesn't know who.

the next heartbeat that can be heard is ivan's, and unlike till's heartbeat, ivan's heartbeat is more slower. he knows what he's going to do already. ivan already knows he wants till to live on and win. he already knows till will win and live on, and ivan won't. ivan has without a doubt known for the longest that if he and till were to go up against each other, like they unfortunately have in round 6, that he would want till to live on. ivan planned his own defeat & death, which is why his heartbeat sounded much more relaxed in comparison to till's.
