Oh, dear...

"Dammit!" Dex throws his hands in the air. "I give up, I can’t do it, there’s too many," he says to Rose, then turns to Sean who is seated next to her, "There’s too many."

"It’s ok, you were close, Liz is the second oldest, you were close!" Sean attempts to soothe his former professor, but the older man will have none of it.

"I have to teach them all one day!"

"And you’ll do fine, we know you will!" Rose adds to no avail.

"I can’t just brag about being the reason any of them were born if I can’t remember their names!"

Sean and Rose can’t help but affectionately roll their eyes at that because all these years and seven children later, they still can’t live that down, not as long as Dex is still around to remind them of it.

It's not as spooky as people make it seem as long as you don't start swimming too deep. The creatures that live there will leave you alone if you don't mess with them. But maybe one of this days I'll sneak into the prefects bathrooms to take a swim.

It's not like I feel obligated, Char. It just kinda happens but I'll try to keep the pet name at bay, don't worry. Oh, the lake. If you're good, the giant squid won't try and drown you. But a pool would be quite useful too.
