okay no i said i was gonna make this post later but i'm making it now

so like. cyan's possessed right????? from a narrative standpoint, that's like. from a narrative standpoint, this is the only way this makes sense as an ending to me, knifemare possessing cyan to make this all happen. i'm not coping what are you talking about. here's how knifemare fans can still win.

gears in my brain are currently too stuck to articulate my points (5:30 am plus benadryl will do that) but like. because the ones who knock won against comely's team and became the focus of the arc, we haven't seen cyan since before knifemare did their whole particle accelerator thing. hell, the uniform for the green ghouls is even a blanket aka something you sleep under, but that's grasping at straws at this point.

it'd also explain the sudden weird supernatural powers. because sure, knifemare couldn't do that in the previous races they've been in, but think about it. super would essentially be going up against two horses combined here, of course it'd hurt when they collide. and like. just.

so many thoughts about the latest games. imagine getting so mad about not being picked for basketball that while everyone else is out playing their games you, out of the power of sheer rage and spite, presumably rip open a hole between dimensions and jump in and recruit the rest of your dead/unborn siblings from the pocket dimension who you saw dissolve in front of your very eyes to form your own cooler basketball team and when you send them out onto the court your team's uniform is a fucking neon green cartoon sheet ghost costume.

okay i know knifemare getting out is probably something we should be worrying about but consider

so i still haven't totally reviewed the latest basketball updates yet, but

thinkin about e3m1t1 as a visual representation of comely and doorknob picking teams (as opposed to them literally fishing their teams out of a lake, as funny as that visual is)

thinking about cyan and lightning being on the same team. and playing against superstitious (in a hopefully-friendly competition basketball beach episode, but still).

thinking about doorknob immediately choosing mysterious figure and garbage bin as opposed to any other horses

thinking about doorknob filling the last two slots with skybox and superstitious in particular

thinking about resolute mind afternoon being picked last

by his own sister

when the only other option left was nighttime knifemare

and even then it took notably longer than every other pick

Someone might've pointed this out beforehand but specifically the Tournament Losers got stuck in what seems to be a "Basketball Purgatory" and the barn gates only open when they've scored, what does that mean for the ones left behind after another's victory...?

I also wonder what's up with the color change to cyan in Garbages and Figures little symbols, a change of heart perhaps? Or just a reminder they're a fragment of Cyan/Oob?
