Pack your bags — the Exchange is back!

A handful of lucky students from three different universities have been given the opportunity to take part in this prestigious program. It is considered a marriage between business and pleasure — a chance to study abroad while taking one last shot at freedom and fun before their post-graduation responsibilities fully take hold.

The way that it works is simple. Each student will be matched with a partner, someone from a different school to stick close to and explore each new place with. These Exchange partners will change at each stop, ensuring that all students have a chance to mingle and get to know one another better while on this trip.

Adventure, heartbreak, friends and enemies alike — these are all guaranteed on the Exchange. Will this be the trip of a lifetime, or a never-ending nightmare?

ooc: so basically ever since exchange ended all those years ago, me and laura and amy have been periodically getting hit with these bouts of nostalgia for how amazing this place was, and how much fun we all had on the exchange. the timing was finally right for us, so we decided to bring it back! as you can see, it is a little different, but the essence and heart will always stay the same. we really look forward to stepping back into the exchange with you guys; watch this space for more updates, coming soon!

do you miss Lissa?

omg so so much, sweet anon! i was just thinking about how old she is because of allie’s post? and my girl is like 27?? i’m very emotional and i miss her a lot.

ooc: if you could change something about how Exchange ended, what would it be?

ooc; tbh, there are a few things I would change about the way the Exchange ended.  For one, I would have wanted Bluey to live, and for him and Dani to live happily ever after with little Mason.  In addition to Bluey, I would have wanted everyone who died to stay alive, like Olivia, Micah and Elliot.  I would have also wanted Elijah to get together with Kylie, they would have been a hot couple.  

I would have also really loved to see Jasper tell Lissa he was rich, like actually see it play out.  Can you imagine, she would have been in so much shock and so hurt that Izzy found out first when she finds out everything pulling up to his mansion.  She would just sit on his bed and feel betrayed that she didn’t know.  She wouldn’t even care about the actual riches.  

Plus, it would have been fantastic to see Duncan’s fireman calendar come out and get passed out around the house.  If there were like three boxes worth, Lissa would steal one for herself, let’s be honest.  

Special shoutout to Halaska because I wouldn’t change anything about them - precious cargo, let them be happy after all the troubles they’ve faced.  ♡

Happy One Year Anniversary Exchange! ✈︎ ↪ I can’t believe it’s already been a year since the Exchange closed!  The Exchange was a great RP, one that I know we will all have a special place in our hearts for.  Over the years, we had crazy tasks where someone had to tell their best friend they were a lesbian and they were in love with them, and some forcing people to hook up which actually helped them fall in love - but no matter what it was it always brought new excitement and drama to the dash.  We had the best events that managed to evolve from Laser Tag games into Murder Mysteries.  We all grew here on the Exchange, our characters and ourselves, and even though it’s over, it was a great ride while it lasted.  Happy anniversary everyone! xx
