Love the onscreen version better than the Script version

What`s in the 15.20 Script vs. what J2 gave us onscreen:

Script

Sam: I`m thinking about Cass, Jack … if they could be here…

Dean: I know. I think about them, too. Every day, but what happened – it`s never going to stop hurting, but if we don`t keep living, all that … their sacrifice … what was it for?

Onscreen

Dean: Yeah. Yeah, no. I think about 'em, too. You know what? That pain's not gonna go away. Right? But if we don't keep living, then all that sacrifice is gonna be for nothing.

Script

Sam looks to Dean, who leans up against the post. Breathing hard. Sam`s eyes find his brother … something`s wrong…

Sam: Dean?

Dean: The kids – they safe?

Sam nods. Dean smiles.

Dean: Good. That`s good.

And we see – BLOOD. Spreading across his shirt. Sam`s eyes go wide.

Onscreen

Sam beheads the last Vamp and puts his machete away, not realising something is wrong yet.

Sam: Let's go find those kids, get them outta here.

Dean: Sam... I don't... Mm. I don't think I'm going anywhere.

Sam: What? What are you talking about?

Dean: There's something in my...Something in my back. It feels like it's right through me.

Sam goes to Dean and very carefully reaches around his back. His hand comes back bloody.

Sam: Here, let me --

Dean: No, don`t. You move me – that thing feels like it punched pretty much all thae way trough. I think it`s just about the only thing holding me together right now, so … You move it, I`m gone quick.

Onscreen

Sam: Alright. Um... Hold on. Okay. Uh, I got you.

Dean: No, no, no, no, no. Don't... Don't... Don't move me. Don't move me. It feels like this thing's holding me together right now. Just give me... Just give me a minute.

Script

Sam: I … I`ll call an ambulance.

Dean: Closest hospital`s forty miles. Don`t think they`re gonna make it.

Sam: Then – I`ll get the first aid kit, just –

Dean: Sam, stop. It won`t help, it – I`m sorry.

Sam: Dean --

Onscreen

Sam: Yeah. Um... alright. I'll call for help. I'll get the first-aid kit.

Dean: Sam, Sam! Sam... Stay wi- Stay with me. Can you stay with me, please?

Sam: Okay. Yeah.

Dean: You get those kids home, okay?

Sam: We`ll get them home, after we get you –

Onscreen

Dean: You get those boys and you get them someplace safe, alright?

ON SAM. A long, painful beat. […] Sam reaches out, taking Dean`s hand. It kills him to say this, but he does it anyway.

Sam: Dean … It`s okay. You can go.

And he leans in, embracing his brother.

Onscreen

Dean: I need you to... I need you to promise me. I need you to... To... to tell me... that it's okay. I need you to tell me that it's okay.

Sam: (crying) No.

Dean: Look at me. Look at me. I need... I need... I need you to tell me that it's okay. I need you to tell me... Tell me it's okay.

Sam places his hand over Deans.

Sam: Dean… it's okay. You can go now.

Foreheadtouch.

Dean: Goodbye, Sam. Goodbye.

Dean`s head falls onto Sam`s shoulder.

[Bobby explaining the new heaven.]

ON DEAN. Getting emotional now. This is … perfect.

[More conversation about beer.]

Dean: Yeah … just one thing missing.

Bobby: He`ll be along.

Onscreen

Dean: It`s almost perfect.

Dean staring out at a soaring vista. The whole world, perfect and beautiful. Then—

We`re BEHIND DEAN, as a BOOT drops into frame. A footstep. Dean hears it – turns – and his eyes go wide to see… SAM.

Onscreen

Dean looks out over the water. Then he smiles, the moment he feels Sam`s arrival. He know`s before he`s even turning around.

What are ya'll top 6 J2 tinhat moments of 2015? That would prove they are a couple?

I think we’ve done this a time or two, but doesn’t hurt to do it again, right?

Off the top of my head, top 6 from 2015 (in no particular order):

1. Holding hands at Minncon

2. Father’s day spent together with the kids (+ “my boy”)

3. Vacationing together

4. Jensen’s despair when Jared had to leave the con circuit because of “exhaustion”

5. Jared’s numerous tbt posts being 90% Jensen (and sometimes conveniently including holiday wishes, as couples are want to do)

6. This.

Loved the ending and it was how it should have been!!!

SPN Fandom, READ THIS:

Most Supernatural fans don't get the ending. If you've been with the series since day 1, you know that Dean has always wanted Sam to have a family. He also knew that dying as a hunter is his ending. THAT'S THEIR ENDING. NOT CHUCK'S. They ended without CHUCK toying with them.

Moreover, Dean did not want Sam to resurrect him, because everytime a Winchester comes back to life, THE WORLD SUFFERS.

That's why he asked Sam to let go.

As for Cas, it was implied that Jack must have brought him back to heaven. Bobby said it himself: "Cas helped."

And to those who were looking for Cas, the series started with two brothers driving through towns, hunting things. That's how it's supposed to end.

The story started because the TWO BROTHERS decided to find their dad together.

So I'm sorry if you don't like the ending. But it's the way it's supposed to be.

YES!! to all of this, that really was the perfect ending

A Note to Everyone

To the Writers, Cast, Crew, and Fandom,

I couldn't have asked for a better ending... Thank you so much. I started watching at 10 years old. My family loves mythology, gore, and great familial dynamics, so the show was a guarenteed hit. Now, 15 years later, I cried through basically the whole episode. No show ever made me feel this much. Thank you to the SPN family who gave me strength, family, and entertainment for 15 amazing years...

Sam and Dean were more than characters on a screen for all of us. They were the human embodiment of the saying "love conquers all". They were also the embodiment of so so much more. We are all hurting, but for me it's in a good way.

Both Jensen and Jared got the endings they wanted, Dean died doing what he loved, and Sammy was able to live out his dream of raising a family. Most importantly, they were reunited. The writers had a difficult situation, they had to sever the ties to characters that we have known, loved, and supported for 15 years... That isn't a small or easy task. They knew this task was heartbreaking, complicated, and most of all, extremely fragile.

They knew we were and still are are attached to these people that have been in our lives for 15 years. They've been in our homes, making us laugh, cry, and wonder about so much. To take that away in a way everyone would accept and love is impossible. There's too many opinions, too many people wishing it wasn't the case, and way too many people that think they know the characters better than the actors themselves.

Is it sad to see this show go? Absolutely, my heart is torn to shreds knowing I won't see anymore of Dean's snarky comebacks and Sam's eyerolls at said comebacks. I'm devastated I won't hear "hello boys" in a new episode ever again.

However... I'm smiling. Smiling at the fact Jared gets to film in a place that isn't in another country, so he can spend time with his family. I'm smiling at the fact Jay is going to be a FUCKING SUPERHERO (I hope...I've been dreaming of seeing that). They are exploring different worlds, characters, and opportunities...

They're actors... So let them act.

Also. Don't hate on the writers. They had to do something incredibly difficult. Tell the last chapter of a 15 year story... And in my opinion, they did a damn good job of it.

Slowly I will post more...

Just wanted to say I love you, thanks, and again, Carry On...

You can’t tell me the finger touch in last night’s episode wasn’t added by Jensen to comfort Jared. You can tell they broke character for the whole scene. It looks just like the finger thingy J2 do at cons while trying to be covert about it. You know what I’m talking about. And things like this is why in the back of my head I’ll always believe J2 have /something/ together.

Oh absolutely.
