What are some video titles you think are on The Ark’s YouTube channel?

OOOO OKAY SO NOT TO SURE ABT JUST TITLES BUT HERES HOW I THINK IT GROWS AND WHAT KINDA CONTENT THEY MAKE THROUGH THE YEARS !!

their early videos are pretty basic, they're just titled "(song name) cover" and you can tell who posted the video based on whether they bothered to capitalise anhthing or not. (lister never uses capitals and often spells things wrong, jimmy is a lowercase lad but can actually spell and format it nice, rowan is pretty basic and Types Like This — Cover, they r so silly)

later they end up figuring out what sort of vibes they're going for and put in the effort to make nice thumbnails and make the channel look consistent by editing their older videos and only keeping the ones they actually like. still a lot of covers, but they start posting more of their original ideas, their own music or creative spin on something existing. around this time something they'd start doing which really builds the community and fandom is posting videos like "Band Practice with The Ark," which is sort of a small vlog of them messing around, their mistakes, jimmys voice cracking and lister tricki g to drum with his feet or rowan pretending to wack him with something. it really starts to show their personalities which is where the fans become more intrested in them as people. im thinking it would grow slightly similar to an ash kabosu style vlog, where they show them just hanging out too. this stops as they start getting recongised in public more.

as they get older a lot of videos are proposed by fort records. they only really post music related content and the occasional tour vlog. they have interviews and other types of videos posted on other channels as a collaboration sort of thing. think like inside or those buzzfeed qna's and of course the ark play with puppies video.

Hi Alice. I was wondering if you wrote the iwbft sequel, what would it be about?

I think at this point it will probably be a novella (so it’d be shorter than a full book) narrated by Lister, focusing on the several months that follow IWBFT while the Ark are on a break from music. This is my very rough pitch I have in my notes:

‘Nineteen-year-old Lister Bird has always loved being part of a mega famous boyband – money, hot hook-ups, seeing the world, and doing what he loves every day. But now he’s recovering from some severe physical injuries, trying to deal with his various addictions, and is still battling with his incredibly annoying crush on his bandmate, Jimmy (who definitely rejected him, by the way). Being famous isn’t quite as fun as it used to be. But it’s not like he can escape this life now, can he?’

I’d want it to be focused on the Ark boys and for it to have more of a light feel than IWBFT. I think there is the opportunity to write a darker full novel about fame and power but like... I’m not sure if I really want to do that anymore? I almost think I’d quite like to save that for another novel about different characters where I could write something really fucked up haha. With my IWBFT kids, I kind of just want to... give everyone resolution and peace. Idk. It’s still all up in the air at the moment, no solid decisions made yet!

I should probably stop talking about it. I don’t want people to get expectations of what it’s gonna be and then be disappointed ;_;

are you still planning on making an iwbft sequel?

I would love to and I have a lot of ideas! But it won't be any time soon and by the time I'm able to write it, I'm sure most people will have moved on from IWBFT :')

i want iwbft2 so bad i want to see rowan omondi finally crack and break under the pressure thats been slowly building up for the past 5 or so years i want to see him burst like a balloon thats been blown up too full i want to see the pieces of his broken mind fly through the room destroying everything. i love him btw
