Honestly no matter how much I think about it, Spoon’s changes of Lucas’ backstory are hilarious. In the novel? He’s some guy, a middle child with mommy and daddy issues. In the manhwa? He says he just started existing some day??? He was born through spontaneous generation?? Created by God?? Chosen by God to save the world??? But he refused??? And keeps refusing??? The man who raised him kept telling him to think about the purpose of his birth??? What purpose??? Athy asks him if he’s the son of a God, but he tells her he’s way cooler than that??? Is Lucas a god?????
