jfc I'm at a new doctor for the first time and they asked me to sign a consent for my notes to be transcribed using AI and I was like...no? I'm not signing that? I absolutely do not give my consent to feed my personal medical information into an AI database. Luckily they were very easy about we'll just mark you down as declined but ffs what are we doing here? At least they asked for my consent and didn't just do it without asking me. Now I'm wondering how many of my providers just aren't doing the courtesy of asking for AI consent.
