Donovan was in the canteen getting breakfast, glad to see that things were almost back to being one hundred percent back to normal. As he glanced around the canteen, he caught slight of a princess who looked liked she was having trouble so he made his way over to see if he could help. At her one word answer, he just sat silently next to her, just to see if she was alright.

“Something tells me things are always going to get with you around.” said the pirate with a smirk on his face at how adorable she looked scrunching up her nose. He realized he was still holding her in his arms from when she tried to tackle him.  He also became aware that they were still in the middle of the island but he kind of didn’t want to move right now. “Well I’ll remember to keep in mind that you love surprises.” He said while in his head thinking of a plan he had been forming for a while now. He wanted to spend time with her like they did when they did archery, but he wanted it to be in a more personal and dare he say intimate setting. When she pressed her lips against his, he was only slightly shocked, but he wasn’t about to waste the opportunity to kiss the girl that seems to have  taken over his mind. His lips pressed a little harder against hers as his arms tightened around her. He only pulled away when the need to breathe became too much. “That was unexpected but very welcome.” He chuckled before saying, “Have dinner with me?”

Donovan barely acknowledged the royal and her question, the only notice of her existence that he seemed to give her was narrowing his eyes when she stole one of his cigarettes. He had too many royals ask him that question and it came to a point where he just stopped answering it. He shrugged, not bothered by her glare as he focused on the waves ahead of them.

                      her intentions have no particular motives but it   is   something she has to ask, perhaps it alling on deaf ears          ‘        what exactly   is the point of all this ?   what  do  you  gain  from it ?     ’       oblivious to the reason as to why she was brought there or so she has her guesses  and her words are sharp,  firm as the ground she is stepping on,  brown hues turned dark as she glares.

For the last hour, Scout found herself going from villa to villa picking up any debris that found itself missed by the others. Donovan going around with his shirt off should be a crime. Was he trying to torture her? That had to be it. Once he got close enough to her, she heard him call out to her. How she wished he didn’t for there was no telling how red her face was right now. “Donovan! What a surprise to see you. I’ve just been picking up some missed trash. How about you?”

Donovan could say that he didn’t enjoy knowing that Scout was affected by his lack of shirt, but then he would be lying if he said such things. Sometimes he teased just to get to her, but sometimes, like this one, it was often a happy accident. “It’s a surprise to see you as well.” And indeed it was as he hadn’t seen her in quite a while so it was no surprise that he took the time to rake his eyes over her body. He refocused and answered her question, “Just went for a run and picked up any trash along the way. Do you need some help?”

Donovan hugged her back briefly before pulling back with a chuckle. “I’m glad you’re good, do you need any help? I’m fine, I’m okay, no damage done I promise.” He assured her, he didn’t like to make people worry about him although he knew that worrying about cared ones is a thing that everyone does.
