my chemical romance is the funniest and weirdest band ever. They’re all fucking losers who would genuinely rather play dnd than hook up with groupies. The singer used to work at Cartoon Network. The bassist is on the fbi watchlist for crimes against disney. One guitarist is a guitar god but he also used to keep a little action figure of spiderman in his pocket all the time, the other is like a little lap dog of a man, but he’s also on the fbi watchlist for death threats against a us president. They refused to be on the twilight soundtrack, one of the most popular franchises at the time but then they preformed on yo gabba gabba and re-recorded one of their songs in simlish.

okay idk if anyone here is on the tfb reddit but someone posted their experience fainting at a show in australia

and i'm totally with op on this one. it IS fucked up. it pisses me off so much that you're not allowed to bring water into a lot of concerts/live shows.

i know full well it's not for any reason other than profit, because they usually sell water bottles inside venues for upwards of $5 a piece. "oh they want to make sure you aren't bringing in alcohol or whatever" then require sealed bottles. i will very happily bring an unopened water bottle.

i went to the we're all doomed dan howell live show in 2022 and i had prescribed medication that i needed to take while i was there. the venue would not allow me to bring my sealed water bottle in, and i was forced to spend $4 on an 8oz cup of soda so i could take them.

i also have low blood pressure and issues with dry mouth because of the meds i take, and i have to drink a lot of water or my throat gets sticky and i can get lightheaded. security does not give a rat's ass why you need to bring the water in.

by law (in the us at least) workplaces have to provide drinking water, whether that be a drinking fountain or safe tap water and cups, to employees for free. most restaurants allow you to get a cup of water for free. i feel like being allowed to have a sealed water bottle at a venue should be bare minimum an ada requirement.

op should not have had that experience. some people have fainting disorders, and you can get severely injured or killed if you faint, especially at a concert.

just my take. this pisses me off.
