“These are my horses; Clover, and her stallmate, Jigsaw.”

“Clover is 10 years old — I got her when I had also turned 10. She’s been with me for half my life, and her whole one. She’s my fastest and strongest mare! …And also my sassiest. She’s got one hell of an attitude.”

“Jigsaw is around… 4 or 5 years old? I’m not sure. I found him as a foal when I was taking Clover out on a run. Jigsaw just attached himself to Clover, and she took him in. Which is weird, because she’s never been a mother? So… whatever I guess. Hey, not complaining though, he’s a good work horse.”

“Here are my cats, Basil and Obsidian.”

“Basil is 4 years old, and she’s declared herself as the princess of the house. She’s a sweetheart, don’t get me wrong - but I’ve absolutely spoiled her a bit too much. Again - one of the sweetest cats, but also the sassiest cat I’ve owned.”

“Obsidian is, roughly, 3 or 4 months old. I found him a while ago - in an abandoned village. Scrappy little thing, was holding his own against a fox pretty well when I found him. He is vocal, and will tell you exactly what he wants and when he wants it.”

“And here’s my best buddy — Mango.”

“Mango’s been my dog since I was at least 5 or 6. He’s about 15 years old (…god, it’s been a long time.), and he’s the funniest dog I’ve ever met. He loves to snatch my things and bury them — he’s not very good at it. He’s a strong dog, too. I’ve seen him hold his own against 3 skeletons.”

“I love him.”
