warmer weather tips ✧˖°🌷
as the weather starts to get warmer, here are a couple of pumpkin tips to keep you cool and a little less overstimulated <3.
☼ place your fan by your window to help blow cooler air into your room.
☼ freeze bottles of water to help keep your bed cool & even place them in front of fans to help blow out cooler air.
☼ keep curtains closed over to help keep your room as cool as possible <3
☼ wear lighter fabric clothing - for insecure little ones like me, you can always bring a light weight cardigan if you get cold or need to cover up <3.
☼ for curvier little ones - if your thighs rub and hurt a lot in shorts/dresses/skirts please make sure to purchase anti-chafe balms! (there is no shame in it, both me & daddy use it! <3)
☼ roll on deodrant lasts longer than spray deodrant! & top up as much as you need and keep little mini ones in your bag if need be! <3.
☼ if you sweat easily like me, carry mist bottles & baby wipes around to help keep you cool! <3
☼ remember to wear suncream! it may not look too hot, but it's better to be protected n safe! <3
☼ if you do get sun burnt, don't worry! buy some aloe vera gel and place it in the fridge, then apply once in the morning & night. not only is it cooling, but it'll help with the irritation and soreness <3.

Studying Tips for Littles
I don't know if anyone else is in this situation, but where I live we're going through the exams season. This can be a stressing period for most people, mainly little ones, so here you have a few tips that will hopefully make it less icky ^^
Talk to your stuffies! I cannot stress this one enough, I've been using it since I was bodily little and it works extremely well. The stuffies actually told me, they love to hear you talk about what you're studying. You can act as if you were a teacher and they were the students, I'm sure they'll have lots of fun with that :D If words are hard, hugging your stuffies for comfort will also help. Let them see what you're doing tho! They really like learning new stuff<3
Do worksheets Not the boring worksheets for old people, but the cool fun ones! If you can't find any that you like, maybe you can get a friend to make some for you? If asked with time and given a topic, I can make them too! ^^
Ask for help If you don't understand a point, there's nothing wrong with asking a teacher or a classmate. If you have a caregiver (or, really, any close friend you're comfortable regressing around), you can ask them to ask you questions or act like a teacher for you. There's no shame in needing others, mainly if you're struggling<3
Take care of yourself Drink water, take breaks and eat healthy. To study better, you need energy, and you won't get it unless you remember to do these. Don't forget to sleep either, if you're well-rested you'll feel a lot better<3
Take pretty notes Use colorful markers and glittery pens, make drawings and schemes, fill your notes with little stickers, anything you can think of. Information will stick better if you have fun while studying it, plus who doesn't love a pretty notebook?
Reward yourself For example, you could have a piece of candy every time you learn a page. Or watch a chapter of your favorite show whenever you finish an unit. Or maybe, play videogames for a few minutes after each scheme you're over with. It doesn't matter what you do, as long as it works for you<3
See what works best for you Ultimately, no tip is universal. Do the things you like best, and try to have fun meanwhile! Studying isn't the best thing in the world, but I'm sure you can make it a fun (or not too boring) activity ^^
Good luck with your exams little one!! I'm sure you'll do an amazing job<33 I'm rooting for you!!!

The vibe is a combination of fun instrumental music, some fun pop songs, lullabys, and video game soundtracks
It's meant to be very calming but not exclusively for nighttime

a│s : agere & body insecurities.
sometimes our inner demons can be a lil bit more scary than we think ~ one of the worst being how we view our bodys. so i'm here to spread a little bit of positive to those who need to hear it <3
☾ : numbers ≠ beauty.
it's been fed to us every since we were small that being a certain number on a scale equals to how beautiful you are. well i'm here to tell you that that is complete rubbish. nowerdays, the ideal 'weight' is for people's height is so barbaric that it actually hurts my head sometimes thinking about it.
you're a growing human, as long as the doctors are happy- you should be too <3.
☼: food isn't your enemy.
for someone who had suffered with an ED for a long time (and still do sometimes) fighting that negative mindset that food is your enemy can be incredibly difficult. it's made even worse with all these magazines talking about the new fresh diet.
but honeybee, you need to listen when i say that you're allowed to eat. food is not againnst you, you're allowed to listen to your body when it tells you you're hungry.
☾ : body's come in different sizes.
each human is made differently.
we have different features, different personalities & different builds. someone could be the same size height as you and be thin, another curvy- both are completely valid.
we don't all look identical, if we did, it would be soo boring!
☼: it takes time.
it's okay to sometimes feel a lil envy of others, i know i still do- sometimes that little voice in your head just doesn't know when to quit.
& that's okay- because you know what, loving yourself is a long journey filled with ups and downs.
you will get to the end of the rainbow though, i promise you <3.
✨ no matter what size you are, you're still just as beautiful. ✨

🌧️ involuntarily/negative regressing megapost 🌧️
i hope this might help regressors identify their feelings or for others to pick up on these behaviours when they see it. of course, everyone's experiences are different so if this isn't something you relate to, it doesn't make your experiences any less valid! 🩵
Tumblr media
🩵 big feelings
it starts off with an intense, overwhelming negative emotion: stress, frustration, sadness, exhaustion, overstimulation, etc. for this post, im going to use a very common trigger for me - social conflict.
🌧️ communication difficulties
as an autistic person i find it very hard to read tone, and so arguments (even joking ones!) can cause me to become overly emotional and regress. the first thing to go is my ability to communicate properly! responses will get slower and shorter.
🩵 confusing reactions
as communication skills and emotional regulation slip away, my behaviour becomes more erratic - this includes going quiet, giving emotionally intense responses or even trying to walk away. to other people, this can be difficult to understand and might make the situation worse.
🌧️ the 'bad behaviour' spiral
though it's not my intention, responses appear combative, immature or moody. short answers or lack of answers may appear passive aggressive, overly emotional responses can seem like an attempt to guilt trip, and trying to leave can look like storming off. i feel ashamed of my childish responses, and i begin to sink deeper.
🩵 the break
eventually, the mask completely slips. at this point there's crying and attempts to hide or isolate. behaviour is pretty much infantile and i have no choice but to let it run its course.
Tumblr media
💧a personal example 💧
a few years ago i was venting about my day with a co-worker. he began to offer solutions which i rejected and he criticised me for this: i immediately saw this as a conflict and got anxious. as i panicked my sentences got shorter, which he picked up on and questioned. the more my behaviour became childish, the more negative i felt and the more those behaviours happened. eventually i burst into tears and was trying to get him to hug me. i ended up leaving work early to go home and hide under my covers. it was very embarrassing and unhelpful!
Tumblr media
🌀 i involuntarily regress - what can i do? 🌀
it's called involuntary regression for good reason, sometimes it just can't be helped! but it's good to understand your triggers and spirals, so that you can plan ahead.
🩵 understand your triggers - if you've regressed this way before, what caused it? is it a place, person, situation? why could it be causing your regression?
🩵 think about the basics - is there a need you've been neglecting? although it can sound dismissive when your feelings are so intense, you might need to do something simple. have you been eating nourishing food and staying hydrated, taking your medication, sleeping well, taking breaks and going outside, keeping ourselves and our home clean? these things can really affect how we feel!
🩵 be prepared - explain to those around you that your trigger may affect your behaviour and that it's not something you do intentionally. express what you'll need to do if this happens, and ask that they be patient with you. it also helps to have items such as fidget toys, sensory chews, communication cards and noise cancelling headphones with you, just in case.
🩵 communicate - in the early stages, it's important to explain how you're feeling and what you need! some helpful things to say might be:
'can we take a little break? im feeling overwhelmed'
'if i start giving short answers, it's because im overwhelmed, please be patient with me'
'i need some time to process this information'
'can you speak slower?'
'i'd like some alone time'
🩵 having a (self) care plan - if you end up regressed, it's good to have things in place! i don't have a caregiver, but if you do, reaching out for help is a good start! if that's not an option, keep a box of regression supplies, comfort items and mental health paperwork in a place that's easy to access. having an exit plan, including giving a reason for needing to leave or arranging a way to get home, are super useful things to keep in mind.
🩵 forgive yourself - it's not the end of the world. regression can be a very embarrassing experience, but it's not causing any harm. show yourself kindness.
🩵 getting help - if you find that regressing is interfering with your daily life or becoming common and disruptive, reach out and search for mental health resources or support. it may be a sign of an underlying situation that needs attention.
🩵 reflection - once it's over, consider how things went. are there behaviours you regret or things that could have been better? you might owe people an explanation or apology, but remember, this doesn't make you a bad person! like everyone else, you just had a rough day.
Tumblr media
☔ how can i help someone involuntarily regressing? ☔
🩵 dont panic!! freaking out, asking a bunch of questions or drawing attention will only make things worse. if someone isn't responding to you, try asking simple yes/no questions that they can nod or shake their head to.
🩵 try not to take it personally - it might be difficult but involuntary regressing can be extremely overwhelming. being on the receiving end of short answers or unusual behaviour can feel uncomfortable or even hurtful, but try to remember that this person isn't in a clear frame of mind right now. being aggressive or defensive will only escalate things! only shout if you absolutely have to, for example, a potentially dangerous situation
🩵 be patient and reassuring - speak gently and slowly. offer reassurance and explanations on what you're intending to do. some helpful things to say might be:
'nobody's upset with you/you're not in trouble'
'i'll stay with you for as long as you like'
'take your time'
'youre not in any danger'
🩵 express your boundaries - it's okay to say no! if a regressor is doing or saying something that makes you uncomfortable, you have every right to tell them that you don't like it, even if they're in a bad headspace.
🩵 check in/ask questions - if you feel comfortable doing so, check in on them and ask how you can support them better if this happens again.
Tumblr media
regression can be a fun, healing experience - but it can also be frightening and humiliating, both are completely valid. when you're online, it's easy to forget that regressing isn't always a cute, sanitised aesthetic experience. there's nothing wrong with you and it's going to get better.
thank you for reading! feel free to reply with your tips, thoughts or questions 🩵

tw sickness/puking mentioned
hi hi, I was wondering if you had any tips for being sick on your own, cuz I had to stay home sick and my parents aren't here all day and I just puked and I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do other than sit here an sip water
- hihi cucpake'! <3
sorry for the delayed response sweetpea i was taking a little break <3
oh honeybee i'm so sorry you felt so poorly :<
next time something like this happens, i would suggest doing your best to take your mind of the situation. maybe colour? watch your favourite cartoons? maybe even give yourself a fun little project to do?
sometimes being sick can really effect your mental health, so i'd surround myself with things i love just to bring a bit of light on a down situation <3.
i hope whatever you had is gone now though and you're feeling much much much better <3. big big hugs! <3

Hi little ones! If you're like me you suffer from task paralysis (thank you ADHD and Autism) so I've made a task cube! It's super simple. If you don't know where to start when cleaning a room, roll the task cube. If finishing up one task helps you start another, that's great! If you finish one and still don't know what to do next, roll again! Here's some cleaning tips for a big mess, get 3 different colored trash bags. One for clothes, one for trash and one for toys, then you can separate things as you need to and clean things individually once you have a clear space.

≡;- ꒰ °feel bad about having to hide your agere? i present to you: the spider-man method!! ꒱
ੈ✩‧₊˚ since i'm not open about my agere irl, there's times where i feel lonely/lesser than the people around me because i regress. but, i have my own special way to help with those feelings!!
ੈ✩‧₊˚ i call it: the spider-man method!!! now, you may be wondering; "what's that? how does it work?" so let me explain what it is, and how i came up with it!!
ੈ✩‧₊˚ so, i'm a huge fan of spider-man. it's my favorite thing in the whole world!! and one day, i was laying down, feeling a bit sad about having to hide my agere irl.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ but then, i remembered spider-man and his backstory. as peter parker, he has to hide his identity as spider-man. but as spider-man, he can conquer any problem in his way.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ and i thought to myself, "hey... that sounds a lot like me!"
ੈ✩‧₊˚ so, whenever i feel sad or ashamed about having to hide my agere, i remind my self that spider-man does the same thing too, (just with his secret identity) and he's still the coolest guy around, and he's still strong and resilient despite his struggles! so even though i have to hide my agere sometimes, i can still be strong and cool like him too!!
ੈ✩‧₊˚ now, i see my littlespace as my very own superhero persona! so remember, your regression is a superpower, and you can use it to conquer anything that troubles you/gets in your way! you are valid, you are loved, and you are a superhero!!

💟.
i know i've already posted my motivation for the week, but i have an inch in my skin that someone out there needs to hear this right now.
i know living is tough. believe me, i've been through the exact same thing you're going through right now. i know how tough it is. i know how alone you feel, i know how twisted your stomach gets, and i know how much you muffle your tears so that you don't bother others. but, you do have a reason to be alive right now. a new year is coming, a new chance to rebrand and start again. not everything is as cut and dry as it seems, things can change, things can restart. you won't be stuck in this spiral forever, i promise. your battles make you who you are. your triumphs make you who you are. your scars make you who you are. never be ashamed of relapsing, of not getting better straight away. i'm still struggling and i've been battling for years. we each heal in different ways honeybees, not one person is better than the other. i'm officially 2 months clean. now to some that seems small, especially for someone who talks nonestop about mental health. but if i was to tell that to my 16 year old self? the smile that would put on her face. that we are slowly healing? slowly getting better? that we're 6 years into borrowed time? & have our own little family that accepts me for me. next time you're feeling this low, reflex on how much you've actually been fighting. how many days you've been better for, how much you've smiled in comparrison to past years. that you are healing, slowly and steady. and that right there is perfection. & you know what, when those thoughts get too dark. when they get too heavy to carry by yourself- give me a message. morning, afternoon, night, i'll be here to listen and maybe direct you in the right place for helplines. you're not alone anymore, okay? we're looking out for each other this comming year <3.

Tips for Depression for Little Ones
*But tips that are actually manageable and won’t take too much energy.
~ Staying hygienic with depression can be a challenge. It’s important to set realistic goals for yourself, so you don’t get overwhelmed. A couple ways to stay hygienic is using dry shampoo, baby wipes, mouthwash and deodorant. These are all generally low effort and don’t feel as draining.
~ Eating and staying hydrated can feel extremely difficult. A way to keep up with water intake is keeping a big water bottle near your bed. You can reach over, take a sip, and lay back down. For food, cooking can be an exhausting task. Find packaged foods you can leave on your nightstand, even if they’re just snacks or find microwavable meals.
~ Movement is important. But with hard days, it can feel impossible to leave bed. However, there are stretches you can do in your bed so you can still get a bit of movement in during your day.
~ Understand that it’s okay to feel upset. It’s okay to have tantrums, cry, be angry. It doesn’t make you a bad kiddo. You’re allowed to feel your feelings. And it is always okay to ask for help.
