👑 🌿 Queen of Peace 🌿 👑

inspired by florence + the machine’s “queen of peace”, a spell for when there is too much pain and turmoil to bear. 

Like the stars chase the sun, over the glowing hill, I will conquer Blood is running deep, some things never sleep Suddenly I’m overcome, dissolving like the setting sun Like a boat into oblivion, cause you’re driving me away

🌿 perform preferably during the setting sun. night is good too.

👑 gather: paper, pine cone bits, chamomile, and coffee grounds. 

🌿 create a small, bio-degradable “boat”. locate a pond you can leave it in.

👑 on the “boat”, inscribe all your troubles, everything that is plaguing your mind. list merely their names or write paragraphs about them, your choice. 

🌿 sprinkle the boat with pine cone bits, chamomile, and coffee grounds. 

👑 place it in the water, and let it float away. as it disappears, let your troubles go with it.

🌿  play the song while you perform the ritual, dance and sing along if you like.

Dear witchlings:

Don’t be afraid of failure! You might not get things right on the first try, and that’s perfectly okay! A lot of witchcraft is finding out what works best for you and getting comfortable with your craft

Don’t be discouraged if you fail a lot- You’re learning, you’re trying.

And you’re getting stronger. 

You really do just gotta fake it until you make it- Never lose sight of what made you think; ‘witchcraft is for me’.You certainly don’t have to commit if you’re not feeling it, but if you are, don’t look for reasons why you’re not cut out!

Trust me, there’s no ‘ideal’ witch image. No matter who you are, reading this, you have what it takes and I believe in you so, so much.

I see people repeatedly confuse crows with ravens. Which is admittedly fairly easy to do. This is somewhat helpful. I would also look online or with local park rangers to see if one or the other are actually found in your area if you’re still not sure from looking at one. The difference in size alone can be a good indicator. I know many want to collect bits they may have left behind for workings. Or see their appearance as significant. So do your research first!
