Forget a trilogy series about Kevin, give me one about Renee.

She is a past gang member, criminal, owner of Andrew’s knives, the one who jailbreaks jeans, the devout born again Christian who has probably killed people, the sweetheart of the tram, has awesome Rainbow hair. I could go on forever about her but all we know of her is told through Neil (unreliable and subjective narrator) and Jean (who is dealing with his own shit and also mildly in love with her). Give me a book about her and her mom, how and why she chose that to be her hair, her deer that she texts Jean about, her sparring matches with Andrew, how she has moved on from her past and how it relates to her religion. Did they even mention what she studies? I can’t get this girl out of my brain, give me more Renee!

Spoilers ahead:

I want Jeremy to break.

I want a moment when he is tired, stressed, and just so done. He is so strong for everyone on his team, always there for whatever they need. Going home to rooms and hallways that are probably still haunted by Noah even if all the pictures were taken down, you can’t get rid of memories that easily. I just want Jermey to have a week and for him to seek comfort.

Going to the apartment, and finding Jean there with Jab, fondly smiling and speaking French to the dog he didn’t want. Seeing this beautiful man who only months ago was battered, broken, abused and SCARED, seeing how he’s grown and healed for himself. Jermey trying to make a quip but voice cracking, and Jean just knows. Jean pulling Jermey into a hug and Jermey just breaks. Like ugly sobbing, hiccuping, all the mess.

Cat and Laila have probably seen this side of Jermey before, but Jean hadn’t. After being the rock for Jean during his lows, being someone who he could trust and rely on, then showing his own vulnerability and therefore acknowledging he trusts Jean with this…

Just ugh!!! I have so many feelings about Jermey. I want my baby boy to fully have a sob fest. He deserves to feel emotions, even the negative ones.
