2012 was only 5 years ago but when you think in dance comp years it seems like a century ago that Talia Seitel was winning Mini Best Dancer, the Marianos had just left MDC, Sophia Lucia was starting to become a fandom favourite after her “Turn to Stone” performance at HoF Ontario, Club was making their YouTube debut with “Big Dollhouse” and Gavin Morales was in his first year competing solos with “Rolling in the Deep”

So I'm not the biggest World of Dance fan but I've watched every week and I gotta say my favorite thing about it is that it showed a competition kid that she doesn't have to be perfect. It has been a joy to watch Eva let go on that stage and just have fun

Had the pleasure of watching my friend Jackie perform as an ASH assistant at ASH Pittsburgh this weekend, but also had the pleasure of seeing some dancers I’ve been following for a while in person.

Isabella Febbraro from Studio 19 blew me away - if anyone sees her solo Because I Want To listed on a schedule I highly recommend you watch it! I also got to see Alaina Johnston’s solo, which was also amazing.

Still really bitter the low ponytail trend came about the year after I graduated. High ponytails caused me an awful lot of headaches.
