misfortune,, realizing that morgo's been lying and manipulating her for the past 24 hrs, hanging around town, playing his shitty game, while shes literally dead and her flattend corpse is rotting in the street outside her house the entire time

some gentle aesthetics:

Nightfall: the shiver up your spine when you hear a line of a poem or song that hits too close to home, immaculate nails (but grinding your teeth), blushing at a sincere compliment, intense focus with a wrinkled brow, soft blankets and a warm fire place to curl up next to at the end of a hard day, a wry grin answers any challenge but you’re deeply afraid of failure (love, we’re all so proud of you, even when you aren’t perfect)

Coming home: falling asleep on someone’s shoulder, becoming entranced with a new book, a little heartbroken right now, soft and patient smiles in the face of exhaustion, vanilla-honey candles, sharing what you learned in therapy with your friends, unwavering trust in those you love, waking up in the middle of the night to a train going by, so afraid of the future but tries to grow anyways (you’re going to become who you need to be — but you’re worthy of love now)

Golden leaves: holding doors open for strangers with a genuine smile, kissing your best friend on the cheek in greeting and feeling heart-achingly warm for the first time all day, feeling rearranged down to your bones; things haven’t turned out the way you thought they would, the sting of the frozen morning air on your cheeks, waking up before the sun rises, calling someone you love for advice on something difficult (they are on your side—even through the worst)

Constellation: sleepless nights, snow on the ground and the clearest night sky, cups of warm tea, resting your head on your desk, putting on comfy clothes and getting to work, distancing yourself when you’re anxious, graceful and poised with a mind always in a flurry, handwritten notes to your friends, a cat bumping their head against you, falling apart a little but won’t stay down. (you’re not alone)
