You were just eleven years old, a first year, when you mastered the color changing charm and began to use it on your hair.Â
You started with blue. Then went red, then purple, and then a risky green that not many other people could pull off.Â
You were even a ginger, at one point, but only for a few minutes. It was for some childish bit at Ron Weasleyâs expense.Â

Nights like these were rare. Usually, you and your three best friends were uncovering secrets, rivaling some sort of evil, or partaking in a dangerous adventure. But after an exceptionally good D.A. meeting you, Harry, Ron, and Hermione decided to have a relaxing night in the common room for a change.
Ron had also decided he was in the mood to play Wizardâs Chess.Â
âItâs been ages since Iâve brought my set out,â he said.Â
Harry took Ron up on the offer, seemingly up for a challenge.Â
The four of you had sprawled out across the floor in front of the fireplace. Harry and Ron sat at opposite ends of the chessboard, sitting upright with their eyes glued to the game before them.Â
You and Hermione had chosen to sit on the other two sides of the board. Hermione was sitting cross-legged with a book in her lap. She would glance up every other moment when either of the boys made a particularly interesting move but was mostly focused on her book.
Across from her, you were paying even less attention to the game. You were sure Ron was going to win, anyway.Â
You had decided to lay on your stomach, feet in the air, your head kept up with your right hand. Instead of the violent game before you, your attention had been given to the girl seated across from you.Â

slytherin boys masterlist navigation
warning - internet translated Italian
(got these ideas from Ben and Fabio on instagram theyâre so funny)
It wasnât easy to date Theodore Nott. It was always rewarding but it wasnât always easy.
For starters, Theo grew up in Italy and has one of the thickest Italian accents youâve ever heard. There were a few times over the course of your relationship that you had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. Like when he was trying to tell you that Draco had invited you out on a double date with himself and Hermione.
You had just woken up from a nap when Theo walked into the Slytherin common room after quidditch practice. He flashed you a breath taking smile and all but skipped up to you as you rubbed your tired eyes. You felt your heart melting in your chest at the sight of your adorable boyfriend.
âBuongiorno Bella.â (good morning beautiful) Theo swooped down and delivered a soft kiss to the side of your face before plopping down next to you on the couch. âGuess what?â You hummed in response as you snuggled deep into his side.
âWhatâs up Theo?â
âAt quidditch practice today, Draco says that you and I, we can go out double with them.â
In your tired brain, Theoâs words made even less sense. You sat up from his side and stared at him with your brows furrowed. âHuh?â Theo stared blankly back at you. He brushed a piece of your hair away from your face.
âStill asleep, Bella?â
You shook your head lightly but it didnât convince either of you entirely. A chuckle rumbled through Theo and his chest vibrated in laughter.
âDraco says we can go double out with Herminone.â
Now it was your turn to laugh at the way Theo pronounced Hermioneâs name. Youâd all been friends for about two years now since she and Draco had started dating, but he still couldnât quite pronounce her name correctly.
Finally deciphering his thick accent and slightly broken, but still cute English, realization dawned upon you. You tried to smother a smile as you stared at your boyfriend in pure adoration. âYou mean he invited us to double date with them?â
Theo looked at you for a few seconds before standing up and sighing a little dramatically.
âMio dio Bella, thatâs what I saidâ
âMmm of course, Theo.â
So, dating Theodore Nott was not without its challenges. But it also wasnât without its fun.
1.
It was Mattheoâs birthday so of course the Slytherin common room was filled to the brim with drugs, alcohol, and probably the sluttiest girls in all of Hogwarts. Theo was sitting at a table off in the corner with both of your guysâ drinks and was noticeably uncomfortable in such an environment.
Youâd gone to get ice for your sex on the beach when you had a mischevious idea. You scooped a little more ice into the cup and started making your way back to Theo.
You caught sight of Mattheo what was sitting on one of the large couches dead center in the room. He had three girls all over him right now and Lorenzo was giggling uncontrollably as he passed him a joint. Mattheo caught your eye and winked playfully. He liked to flirt with you to rile Theo up a little bit every once in a while.
You finally made it back to your table where Theo was swirling a deep red wine in a glass. His lips quirked up in a small smile as you took your seat next to him. Without speaking, he reached out and pulled your chair impossibly closer to his before throwing an arm around your shoulders.
âCiao Bella.â
Your entire body bloomed at the sound of his thick accent over his husky voice. Warmth settled over you like a fluffy blanket on a snowy morning.
âCiao Theo.â
The surprise on Theoâs face was more than enough to make you happy that youâd taken up Italian recently. You practiced with Lorenzo in some of your free time and he was a pretty good teacher. You made eye contact with Theo and winked before settling into his side.
Theo immediately became suspicious as you were known for your antics.
âWhat are you up to Il mio piccolo piantagrane, hm?â (my little troublemaker)
âNothing Theo, relax.â
He stared at you suspiciously for a few seconds before his body finally loosened.
The opportunity was too great to miss.
You leaned over both of your drinks and dumped ice into your sex on the beach before then dropping a few ice cubes into Theoâs wine.
His reaction was nearly instantaneous.
âOh! Bella, no! No, no, no!â His lips turned up in disgust and multiple muted expressions left his mouth in what you assumed were Italian swears.
âChe diavolo? Ghiaccio nel vino? No! Il vino Ăš sacro.â
(what the hell? ice in wine? no! wine is sacred.)
A large hand came and ran through his messy curls and the laugh youâd been surprising burst suddenly from your chest. Theoâs eyes snapped to yours and you recognized the mischievous glint.
A squeal left your mouth as you leapt up from your seat and took off around the common room with him hot on your tail.
2.
The second time that you decided to make your poor sweet Italian boyfriend question all decisions to be with you was at dinner one night. You werenât intentionally teasing him at first as you stared down at your empty plate trying to think of what you wanted.
You glanced over to Theoâs plate next to you and saw a mouthwatering pasta that heâd conjured. You tugged gently on the sleeve of his green sweater and his attention found yours immediately.
âWhatâs wrong, bellissima?â
âCan you get me some of that, please Theo?â
âOf course.â
He took your plate in his hands and after a few seconds his dish was sitting in front of you. You noted how he made sure there were no tomatoes in yours like there were in his. Theo knew you hated tomatoes. It was so sweet it almost made you feel bad for what you were about to do to his little Italian heart.
Almost.
Theo picked up his fork and started to dig into his food before he stopped abruptly. Lorenzo too stopped eating his own food and the pair stared at you incredulously as you shoveled the pasta into your mouth.
âOh Bella.â
He seemed more horrified than anything else. You loaded more food into your mouth being careful to eat as much as a lady as you could.
âNo.â You stared at him blankly with a sheepish look before resuming your meal. âBella, no. Twirl. Like this,â Theo picked up his fork and expertly swirled the noodles around before bringing it up to his mouth.
You offered him a gentle grin before promptly resuming what you were doing before. From across the table Lorenzo started whisper screaming at Theo in Italian.
âTheo, Cosa c'Ăš che non va nella tua ragazza? Lei mangia la pasta come una bambina!â (whatâs wrong with your girlfriend? she eats pasta like a child!)
Theo stared at you astounded as redness crept up his face. Then it finally dawned on him that you were teasing.
âBella per favoreee.â He dragged out his words with a small smile on his face at your teasing. You both knew that you knew the proper way to eat pasta.
âNo more teasing love.â You nodded through your giggles and Theo wrapped a thick arm around your waist and pulled you into his side.
3.
So, you knew that you promised Theo no more teasing last week but when you overheard him and Lorenzo complaining earlier in the most adorable stuttered English you couldnât help yourself. You were walking down towards the common room to get lunch with the boys.
Theo, Lorenzo, and Mattheo were sitting in the common room all having a discussion. Suddenly you heard your boyfriendâs sweet Italian symphony of a voice shift into one of astonishment. You peeked around the corner and saw both him and Lorenzo staring at Mattheo like heâd just said the most offensive thing ever.
âWhat do you mean you have the cappuccino in the afternoon, huh?â His fingers came to rub at his temples and you had to stifle your laugh behind your hand. âPuah! cappuccino Ăš solo per la mattina.â (Cappuccino is only for the morning).
Mattheo stared blankly at the two. Finally you decided to step in before the vein in Theoâs forehead burst.
âTheo? Iâm ready.â
By the time that you made it to the Great Hall, the boys seemed to have forgotten about their earlier conversation. Mattheo walked quietly in step next to you while Theo and Lorenzo conversed in Italian so quickly your head was spinning.
âPsst. Y/n I have an idea on how to make that little Italian boy of yours blow a fuse.â
(âMaledizione Lorenzo, non credi che se sapessi cosa regalarle non andrei fuori di testa?â)
You cursed yourself that you couldnât understand what they were saying. After staring at the side of Theoâs handsome face for a few moments longer you let out a disgruntled noise and turned to Mattheo.
âFine! What?â
And that was how you found yourself in this situation.
Trying your absolute hardest to keep a straight face without looking at Theo at all while you sipped on your cappuccino that youâd conjured in your cup.
âOh Bella.â
Theoâs familiar distressed tone rang out from next to you. âYou cannot be series, amore mio.â
âDo you mean serious, Theo?â Mattheo chimed in with an amused smirk.
Theo made a dismissive Italian noise and waved Mattheo off. He swore under his breath before grabbing the side of your face and turning it to him. âBellissima, it is too late for a cappuccino!â
You smirked up at your distraught boyfriend and pressed a quick kiss to the softness of his cheek. âI know, amore.â
Theo stared at you before throwing his hands up in the air and turning back towards his lunch. Mattheoâs deep laugh burst out and you couldnât help yourself but to laugh along with him.
You were so busy laughing you hadnât noticed that Theo was staring at you with a smile. He was so very in love with you.
+ one time you celebrated Theoâs Italian roots
April 25th was meant to be celebratory. La Festa della Resistenza. And Theodore Nott was stuck at quidditch practice.
Meanwhile, you were scurrying around the common room with Lorenzo trying to set up the perfect surprise for Theo. With Italyâs Liberation Day approaching, youâd noticed Theo had been a little down lately. You knew that it was because he was missing his family.
Normally, his mother would prepare a big feast and the family would sing the song of the resistance, Bella Ciao. Youâd taken a floo to his home in Italy and gotten some recipes from his mother directly, all his favorites. And now, you were trying desperately to teach a group of first year Slytherins how to sing the song that youâd been practicing for weeks.
You sighed deeply as you realized the little buggers you bribed with a few galleons each were not at all going to get the song down in time. You conjured your purse and shelled out a few galleons to each child before shooing them out of the common room.
By the time Theo got back from quidditch practice, everything was perfect. You were standing in the center of the room in a deep red dress that you knew was his favorite. When he saw the spread, Theo thought his heart might stop. You looked nothing short of stunning.
âOh Bella.â
It didnât hold any of the distress that it normally did. This time his tone was thick with adoration. Theo felt a lump moving up his throat that caught tears behind his eyes. His heart clenched in his chest. This was one of the most thoughtful things that anyone had ever done for him.
Just when he was certain you couldnât get anymore perfect, your sweet voice rang out in an impossibly beautiful symphony that rivaled Pavarotti.
âUna mattina mi sono alzato
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
Una mattina mi sono alzato
E ho trovato l'invasor.â
Theo held you closer to his chest and pressed his forehead against yours as he joined for the next verse.
âO partigiano, portami via
O bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao
O partigiano, portami via
Che mi sento di morir.â
The two of you swayed as Lorenzo joined and the three of you sang the rest of the song together. When you finished, you all made plates and sat down in the common room.
âWhen did you learn all of this, Bella?â
You smiled gently at Theo while he stared at you like you were the most perfect being in the world.
âI took a trip to Italy to see your mother a little bit ago. She told me about La Festa della Resistenza the Celebration of the Resistance. She talked about how important it was to Italyâs history and that it marked the Resistance victory in the Italian Civil War. Then when I saw how sad you were to be away from home at this time I knew I had to do something.â
In that moment, Theo knew that there wasnât anybody heâd ever loved as much as he loved you. He took your face in both of his hands and pressed a deep kiss to your lips.
âThis is perfect, bellissima, thank you so much.â

Hypocrite
Theodore Nott x Reader
Warnings: 18+ content (sex), swearing
Description: The reader is embarrassed by the hickies Theo left on her, but she's not one to speak.
Merlin, you were pissed. Or, maybe â maybe you were embarrassed. Afterall, there were purple and yellow bruises all over your breasts and along your collarbone and up the sides and back of your neck. Despite your best efforts, your makeup hadnât covered them all, and the collar of your blouse kept smearing the foundation and exposing more of them to the entire student body. A student body who couldnât stop talking about you.
âTrip down the stairs did you, Y/n?â Pansy teased.
âOur very own Slytherin slut,â Daphne laughed fondly.
âBy the name of Salazar,â Blaise breathed heavily at the sight of them.
You could only sigh in frustration, your head in your palms, âGuys, stop, please. Everyone and their mothers are giving me shit about it, you donât need to join in.â
You werenât lying. In Defense Against the Dark Arts, Snape had practically burnt a hole through your neck, and then, in Transfiguration, McGonagall had quietly asked if you needed to step out to touch up your makeup. The worst, however, was Potions with Slughorn. His opinion of you since the beginning of the year had been purely positive since your family were fairly wealthy and you achieved some of the highest grades in his class. When he saw the hickeys all over you, though, his bulbous nose had turned up in disgust and he made a most unpleasant grunt of disproval. You were sure you had made his blacklist.
âThis warrants murder,â said Pansy.
âIt does, doesnât it?â You asked, âI am so fucking mad at him for this.â
Oh, but you could hardly speak.
You and Theo (your boyfriend and hickey-giver) both received invitations to a party that was held the night before, and despite knowing you had school the next day, you went. Once you were about ten drinks in, you were completed sloshed, and when you were completely sloshed, you got horny.
Though the crowd of party-goers stood between yourself and Theo, you could still see every part of him. He was just standing there, chatting with Blaise and Draco, a can of cheap beer held lazily in his right hand while his left was barely touching his hip. He was so, so hot. You bit your lip sexily then made your way over to him and wrapped your arms around his waist, kissing the back of his white shirt, and leaving stains of red lipstick all over it.
âHey, Y/n, baby,â he hummed, happy from all the drinks heâd downed in the three hours prior, âWhatâs up?â
âTeddyyy,â you mused and stared up at him as he looked over his shoulder at you, âI want sex.â
Blaise and Draco snickered and Theo shot them a glare. After that, you can imagine what happened. Lots of moaning, groaning, grunting, panting. Enough snogging to last you both a lifetime, but not really because there was no such thing as âenough snogging,â and love making that lasted well past the rise of the sun that peeked through the window to Theoâs dorm room and illuminated every gorgeous curve of your body.
While Theo was the kind of sexual partner to want to leave marks all over you â not because he was the jealous type, just the prideful type, he liked everyone to see that heâd won you â you were the kind of sexual partner who liked it rough. You liked to feel his dick more or less pounding against your womb, so close that it almost warranted a trip to Madame Pomfrey. You liked when he thrusted into you fast, but not sloppy, always obeying your comments of âfaster, Theoâ and âhoney, please, I need it faster.â But he couldnât obey too much, you were very particular about that. He had to make you feel good, but he still had to be in control. It was always best if he gave in to every third or fourth demand, so that you had to beg for it. But the best part about rough sex with Theo? Well, it was what made you such a hypocrite.
âMate,â Draco gaped at Theoâs back in the locker rooms before quidditch practice, âDid you get into a fight with a werewolf or something?â
Theo frowned in confusion, âWhat are you talking about?â
Draco motioned for Theo to move into view of the mirror and when he got a good look at his reflection he joined in the gaping. Long, red lines ran down his back like the British army at the Battle of Balaclava. He had become a canvas and you had painted him with your claws. He ought to have them clipped, Merlinâs beard.
The scratches were mostly up and down (go figure), but there were are couple that ran horizontally which Theo couldnât place the origin of. You had torn him apart, you freak.
And thatâs when you stormed into the locker room. Pucey had squealed, that was the first sign that you had entered. The second was the smart-ass warning that escaped Dracoâs mouth ( âLook what the cat dragged in⊠or maybe she herself is the cat,â he said.
âShe is the catâs mother,â you responded, annoyed, and kicked him in the shin.
âMy point still stands,â he laughed painfully).
Your hands were covering your eyes so as to not expose yourself to the privates of the entire Slytherin Quidditch team, and Theo thought you looked like a total dork in the cutest way. A pout had settled on your lips to make up for the fact that your frown was also hidden behind your hands.
âTheodore Nott!â You huffed and the locker room broke out into a chorus of âoohâs, âShut up, all of you â Theodore, look at what youâve done to my neck.â
âI canât really see behind your hands, lovey,â said Theo and you swore you could hear the smirk in his voice.
âUse your imagination then, Iâm sure you remember what you did to me last night â Oh, arenât you all so mature,â you hissed as the boys erupted into laughter like little children.
You felt Theoâs hands settle on your hipbones as if they were arm rests. He pulled you in until your nose hit his chest and removed your hands from your face. So safe you were in his presence that you couldnât see any of the other boys around you. With his big eyes that were more ocean-coloured than sky, he stared down at you, and flashed his brilliantly white grin.
âYou arenât much better, you know?â He said with a tone of question in his voice and continued to talk when he realised you didnât know what he was talking about, âMy back?â
He turned for you and upon seeing the mess you had evidently made on his back, you shut your mouth.
âEven?â Asked Theo.
âEven,â you nodded.

the letter
theodore nott x f! reader
summary: you get a letter from a secret admirer who wants to confess. your best friend is none too pleased.
notes: jealous! theodore nott >>>
word count: 1.4k
You would think for a magical school, Hogwarts would have better heating or some heating spell, but the Slytherin dorms are frigid as usual as winter creeps up. You fasten your robe clasps and draw it tighter around you, simultaneously trying to tug your skirt down in a futile way to heat yourself up more. Your knee-high socks only do so much and you pretty much give up on the endeavor as you climb up the stairs and head for the Great Hall.Â
Youâre immediately greeted by the cozy warmth of the hall, spotting your friends, all swathed in green and silver robes and knits. Theo spots you first, sliding over and nearly knocking Blaise off the bench. âBlood hell, mate,â Blaise grumbles as you approach, kicking Theoâs leg lightly.Â
You slip into the space created for you, right in between Theo and Enzo. You stifle a yawn and ask, âCan someone pass the eggs and bacon?â
As Enzo reaches for both platters, Theoâs eyes zero in on your legs. âHow are you not cold?â
You frown. âI am,â you reply, piling your breakfast onto your plate, âbut Pansyâs demon cat apparently thought my winter tights were toys and decided to scratch them all up.â
Pansy sighs, âIâve ordered you new ones, calm down.âÂ
Theo drapes his robe over your legs and you smile gratefully at him. He smiles back and your heart flips. You donât think youâll ever get over how beautiful he is â all dark caramel curls and long lashes that frame those devastatingly blue eyes. Heâs been your best friend since you started Hogwarts and you knew you loved him at first sight. The longer youâve known him, the more youâve fallen for him.Â
Itâs a tale as old as the world itself: youâre hopelessly in love with your best friend but you value your friendship far too much to do anything to jeopardize it.
âMailâs here,â you hear someone say down the table. You look up to the ceiling, which has been enchanted to look like a sky thatâs about to break open and drop snowflakes from its clouds. Owls soar in through the openings at the top of the walls, diving down towards their intended recipients.Â
âMaybe your new tights are here,â Enzo says.Â
Pansy adds, âI hope so. Then youâll stop complaining about it.â
You snort, reaching up to grab a letter dropped by your family owl. You feed her a piece of scrambled egg as she takes off back towards the owlery. You tuck your parentsâ letter into the inner pocket of your robe just as another owl swoops overhead, dropping a pale blue envelope on your lap.Â
âWhoâs that from?â asks Pansy.Â
You shrug, using your butter knife to open it up. As you do, Draco grumbles at Mattheo: âFor the love of Salazar, stop hogging the pastry basket.â
You skim over the letter addressed to you. You tilt your head in confusion and Blaise asks, âWhatâs it say?â
Enzo peeks over your shoulder and his face breaks into a smirk. ââMeet me at the Astronomy Tower at midnight tonight. Signed, Your Secret Admirer.ââ he reads.
âWhat?â Theo suddenly snatches the letter from your hand. You watch in confusion as his eyes dart back and forth. His shoulders tense and his mouth purses into a thin, hard line.Â
âYou doing okay there, Nott?â Matthew asks, shooting a simpering smile at his friend. Theo sends a glare back but doesnât say anything, the letterâs paper crinkling under his grip.Â
Pansy asks, âAre you going to go?â
You hesitate, surreptitiously glancing at Theo, startled to find that heâs gazing at you with an intensity youâve never experienced. You pluck the letter from him and fold it neatly. âI think so,â you say. âIâm interested to see who it is.â
âBe sure to bring your wand,â Draco says. âJust in case.â
âObviously,â you deadpan. The conversation shifts into whether anyone was prepared for midterms coming up.Â
You fiddle with the letter in your lap. Theoâs silent for the whole conversation.Â
You chew on your bottom lip as you reread the same sentence in your textbook for what feels like the hundredth time. The letter has stuck in your head the whole day. It crosses your mind that it could be a prank or a set-up â itâs not a secret that Slytherin isnât the most popular House among your classmates â but you know you can handle yourself. Youâre more worried about how Theo was acting at breakfast. He didnât say a word the rest of the meal, not even when Enzo and Mattheo tried looping him into the conversation. He just sat there, sullen and gloomy, and his mood seemed to worsen more when you handed him his robe back and said you had to get to class.
You sigh heavily, trying to play out every possible scenario that could happen between you and the letter writer. You check the clock in the library: 11:45; you need to head over to the Astronomy Tower.Â
You groan, gathering your things, sliding them into your bag, and making your way back to the Slytherin common room to drop off your things in your dorm. âCacophony,â you supply to the portrait, which swings open to let you in.
The common room is blissfully silent when you enter, a welcome contrast to the mess of thoughts in your head. Youâre about to head down the hall to your dorm when you collide against someone. You huff an apology but when you feel their hand on your shoulder, you look up to see Theo. He looks intense, eyes wide and glinting with sharp determination and his mouth still set in that frown from earlier. âSorry, Theo,â you say. âDidnât see you there. Where are you going at this hour?â
âI was going to find you,â he replies.Â
âOh,â you say. âWell, here I am. Sorry, Iâve got to drop this stuff off and thenââ
âHead to the Astronomy Tower,â he finishes for you, âto meet your âsecret admirer.ââÂ
You donât like the way he sneers at the last part of his sentence or the way he uses air quotations. Youâre about to respond when he says, âDonât go.â
âWhat?â
âDonât go,â he repeats.
âWhy not?â
He pauses before saying, âWhat if itâs someone just having a laugh?â
You bristle, hurt, and you feel your temper flare. âIs it so damn hard to believe that someone might actually have a crush on me?â
Theo laughs, razor-sharp and incredulous, as if he canât believe that youâre saying something so outrageous, âNo, itâs not.â
âThen why shouldnât I go?â
âBecause I donât want you to!â
âFor Salazarâs sake, Theo, you canât tell me what to do!â
âI know that!â
âThen are you trying to tell me not to go?â
âBecause I bloody like you!â
Your heart stutters to a stop. You can only hear the sounds of both of your labored breathing and you suddenly canât meet his eyes, trying your best to wrap your head around the fact that your feelings are reciprocated. âHow long?â you ask softly, holding your breath.
âSince first year.â
You blink. âReally?â
He rakes a hand through his hair and sighs heavily, âMattheoâs right; youâre so oblivious.â Thereâs another beat of silence and he asks, a little shyly, âHow do you feel?â
You canât stop the smile that spreads across your face. âI like you too, Theo. Iâve liked you since first year as well.â
He echoes your âReally?â and it makes you giggle, âI guess weâre both oblivious.â
He joins your laughter and you let your forehead rest on his chest as your shoulders shake. When it dies down, Theo shifts you off him and lifts your chin with his forefinger, any semblance of coyness gone. You gaze into his ocean blue eyes. Salazar, you could drown in them. He offers a charming smile and he leans close, just a few centimeters away, and says, âCan I kiss you?â
Your eyelashes flutter and your voice comes out barely louder than a whisper, âIâd be disappointed if you didnât.â
Your lips meet, fervent and desperate, years of yearning releasing like water through a broken dam. Theo hooks his arms around your waist, pulling you as close as possible. You wind your arms around his neck, fingers toying with the hair at his nape. He walks you backward, slipping his tongue into mouth as he crushes you up against the wall. He deepens the kiss and your knees go weak.Â
Theo moves your bag off your shoulder and drops it on the floor. The letter that rested at the top of the pile of possessions falls out, laying forgotten on the ground.

Mother Brother Knows Best
Theodore Nott x reader
Based on this request đ«¶đœ
Summary: In which Theodore is no match for the sheer determination of a twelve year old fueled by sugar, pumpkin juice, and spite.
word count: 4.1k
âTake a picture mate, itâll last longer,â Mattheo says, collapsing onto the sofa next to his brooding friend.
Theo looks at the boy next to him in annoyance. Mattheo had been meant to meet him in the library thirty minutes ago, and while he was waiting on his habitually late friend, heâd been forced to watch the love of his life practically sit on bloody Cormac McLaggenâs lap. What you saw in that boy, Theo had no idea.
Theo had fancied you for what felt like forever to him at that point, and itâs not like he was exactly subtle about it. At least he didnât think he was being subtle, but ask any of his friends and theyâd say that holding eye contact from across the room for over 3 seconds did not count as a declaration of love. But what did they know. Not that it mattered anyway because somehow, heâd managed to lose you to the toadstool that the Gryffindor house claimed to be a fully functioning wizard.
âI wasnât staring,â he mutters defensively, breaking his steady glare away unconvincingly.
âSure you werenât. How is little y/n anyway? Havenât seen much of her since she and ole McLaggen started snogging and such,â Mattheo responds easily, an amused grin spreading across his face as he watched his friend tense.
âFuck off. Donât remind me.â
With a silent snicker, Mattheo leaned back in his chair. Ever since you had started going out with Cormac, it had been increasingly easy for Mattheo to ruffle Theoâs feathers. The boy really had been taken with you for months now, and Mattheo simply saw this as payback for all the hours heâd been forced to listen to Theoâs rather pathetic pining. She doesnât even know I exist this, and we made eye contact for a whole 7 seconds that. Youâd managed to bring the ever stoic Theodore Nott to his bloody knees, and you didnât even know it.
âSo, about that charms homeworkâŠâ Mattheo says eventually, breaking Theoâs blazing gaze away from you and Cormac once more.
âNo time. Carter should be here any minute since you, are thirty minutes late.â
Mattheo raises an eyebrow.
âYouâre still gonna tutor that little gremlin? Thought you were just trying to get on y/nâs good side. No point now eh?â
For the past few month or so, Theo had been tutoring your younger brother in charms and transfiguration and, while Mattheo was right about his initial intentions, the little bugger had slowly grown on him. Like a fungus.
Theo shrugs noncommittally as he spots the young Slytherin from across the library.
âNot just gonna let Carter fail. Heâs a good kid.â He mumbles.
âAw Teddy, youâve gone soft,â Mattheo teases as his eyes follow the young boy making his way excitedly towards them.
Making a face at his friend, Theo tosses a scroll of parchment across the table and Mattheo reaches out to snatch it.
âGet outta here ya tosser.â
With one last smirk, Mattheo rises lazily from their place on the sofas, nodding once at Carter who sidles up to him before making his escape, a completed charms essay successfully secured.
âHi Theodore!â Carter greets, swinging his bag onto the sofa next to Theo before climbing up himself.
âHey buddy, whatâre we working on today?â Theo asks, a fond smile growing on his face as the young boy makes himself comfortable.
Usually Theo wasnât one for children of any sort, but Carter almost reminded him of a younger version of himself. Feisty and energetic with a sharp tongue. The pair honestly got on like a house on fire and Theo actually looked forward to their tutoring sessions.
âLevitating charms,â Carter replies with a look of disgust. âEw. Is that Cormac and y/n?â He asks, spotting his sister across the library.
Matching Carterâs face of disgust, Theo nods his head in confirmation, pulling out his own charms book.
âHeâs the bloody worst. I wish y/n would date someone cool for once. She has a talent for always picking the worst ones. I heard Cormac say he wants to see whatâs under y/nâs skirt once, so I told him that the only way he was going to get laid was by crawling up a chickenâs arse and waiting. He didnât like that. But his friends all thought it was funny. But then he locked me in a broom closet. But it was fine cause Enzo found me a few minutes later and beat Cormacâs arse for me,â Carter rambles, flipping through the pages of his textbook.
Salazar, for a second year, this kid was certainly mouthy, Theo thought.
âThink Enzo mentioned that to me actually.â He replies off-handedly.
âYeah. Heâs so cool. I think y/n used to have a crush on him a few years ago. Donât tell her I said anything though. Youâre cool too.â Carter says, looking down at his book. âHey! Why donât you date y/n? Then I could see you during holiday! Hopefully Cormac doesnât stick long enough to make it to Christmas. I donât want him to stink up the house.â
Theo feels his cheeks begin to redden at the boyâs statement and he begins to stutter. Damn he hoped his filter wasnât this bad when he was twelve.
âLetâs just get back to the lesson,â he mumbles, hoping to redirect the young boy.
Lucky for him, Carter obliges, allowing the older boy to guide him through the precise wand movements essential to the spell in question.
âWindgardimum leviosumâ
âWingardinum liviosaâ
âWindgarnium leviosauarasurausrus.â
âNow youâre just making words up,â Theo laughs as the boy fails to pronounce the spell correctly for what feels like the hundredth time.
âBecause I am!â The boy says with frustration.
âHey, câmon, itâs fine okay. Ready? Win.â
âWinâ
âGaurdâ
âGaurd.â
âE-umâ
âE-umâ
âWingardiumâ
âWingardiumâ
âNice! Now the second part. Lev.â
âLevâ
âE-o-saâ
âE-o-saâ
âLeviosaâ
âLeviosa.â
âGreat. Now put it together.â
âWingardium Leviosa.â
âPerfect, now add the wand movements,â Theo instructs.
Moments later, Carter has a textbook floating through the air with ease.
âSo will you date my sister?â Carter asks as he slides his books back into his bag.
Theo chokes on air. It had been a bit over an hour and the two had perfected the boyâs levitating charms and worked on turning a flower into a teacup, so Theo had assumed that their previous conversation was all but forgotten to the younger boy. Apparently not.
âSorry?â He splutters, looking over at his companion.
âMy sister. Will you date her? I saw you get all red earlier so you must like her, at least a little,â the boy says nonchalantly as if pointing out the most obvious thing in the world.
Theo feels the heat rushing to his cheeks once more.
âLook little man, I appreciate the support, but itâs not really entirely up to me to decide. Your sister is taken,â Theo tries to reason.
The boy just shrugs.
âWeâll just have to break em up then. Cormac is dumb as rocks, so itâs not like itâll be hard,â he replies.
Theo can barely hold in his laughter. Salazar this kid was great.
âYou know what Carter, if you can break those two up, yeah, Iâll ask out y/n,â he says, patting the young boy on the back.
âDeal.â Carter says, sticking out his hand. âBut donât think I donât know that Iâm doing you a favor too. Iâve seen you stare at my sister. Oh. And if I need help plotting, you have to help me too.â
Damn this kid was good. A right and proper Slytherin.
âDeal.â Theo replies, shaking the boys hand.
As heâs leaving the library, he hears Carterâs voice ring out.
âHey Cormac! The village called and said they want their idiot back, so you better get going!â
Salazar heâd really found himself the perfect ally he thought gleefully. With a final snicker, Theo pushed open the library doors and headed back down to the dungeons.
You watch with silent amusement from the entrance of the Great Hall as your younger brother once again made Cormacâs life a living disaster, sending pumpkin juice flying all over the older boyâs robes. For the past week or so, youâd noticed your brother sabotaging your boyfriendâs every move with varying levels of discretion; from tripping him in the halls, causing him to trip into you, to sticking him to his chair in the library during a study date.
At first youâd found it annoying as youâd known your brother didnât like your boyfriend, but thought he didnât have to make the boy miserable. But then, as you were passing by what you thought was an empty classroom, youâd heard your brotherâs voice whispering to one Theodore Nott.
âDo you think it would be too far to just get him expelled? If I have to see him snog my sister one more time, Iâll release one of Hagridâs beasts on him myself!â Youâd heard Carter exclaim, followed by Theoâs low chuckle.
âEasy there little basilisk. Letâs not get the guy expelled, as aggravating as he might be.â
Youâd never really spoken to Theo much in the past, and aside from brief eye contact from across the classroom, you really couldnât remember interacting with the boy at all. But heâd begun tutoring your brother a few months ago, and Carter would not stop going on about the boy. You knew your brother was quite picky with his friends, and very difficult to impress, so to be so taken with the bloke. You knew Theodore had to be something special. Youâd started noticing him more after that, dark and broody, but also sharp witted and fiercely loyal to his group of Slytherins. Not to mention ridiculously handsome.
You subconsciously take a step closer, listening to the two boys.
âI donât understand why she likes him. Heâs so dumb. And mean. Heâs always picking on me and my friends when y/n isnât around. And he thinks heâs so cool because heâs a bloody Gryffindor. I donât know why she wouldnât just date you in the first place. Youâre the best,â you hear Carter grumble as you feel yourself blush.
You hear Theo laugh again. âLetâs finish this chapter and then you can continue plotting Cormacâs demise okay?â You hear him say.
âFine. Do you think y/n will break up with him if he smells? I wanna hide a dung beetle in his robes.â
âThatâs actually not a bad idea. Now- quill pen into a telescope, letâs go.â Theo says with a snort.
After that, youâd begun to take your brotherâs words to heart, noticing Cormacâs rash reactions towards the younger students, and loud outbursts whenever something didnât go his way. Youâd always assumed Carter was just goading at your boyfriend, but maybe he had a point.
Breaking away from your usual group of friends, you divert your attention to your younger brother who was now sitting alone at the long green and silver table on the other side of the hall.
âMorning Carter,â you greet, sitting down next to him at Slytherin table, quiet chatter filling the Great Hall.
âDidnât want to sit next to your boyfriend covered in pumpkin juice?â Your brother asks innocently, taking a sip from his own pumpkin juice filled glass.
âMm. I saw.â You respond dryly, side eyeing your brother as you filled your plate.
âIt was an accident.â
âIâm sure. So, how are your tutoring sessions going? Mum and dad gonna be on you next holiday?â You ask.
âNo way. Theo has me getting top marks on all my assignments. Heâs the best,â Carter brags.
âYeah? You seem to like him. A lot more than Cormac thatâs for sure.â You comment.
âWell duh. Theoâs like, one of the coolest blokes in Slytherin, and Cormac is one of the biggest tossers in the whole school. Bit of an insult to even compare Theo to that wank-cloth to be honest.â
You struggle to maintain your composure, holding in your laughter, and before youâre able to probe your brother any further, a plate is plonked down across the table.
âCarter! My favorite little second year!â Enzo says brightly, taking his seat.
âEnzo itâs too early for you to be this cheery. No one is that cheery at 7:30 am letâs reel it in,â Mattheo groans, sitting down on Carterâs other side.
âTheo!â Carter exclaims as the brown haired boy takes his spot across from you.
âWhatâs up little man, howâd that charms exam go?â
âI got the top score in my class,â your brother responds proudly as you gaze across the table at his tutor.
Theo really was handsome.
Quickly shaking the thoughts from your head, you force yourself to zone back into the conversation.
âI remember being in second year charms,â Mattheo was saying.
âNo you donât, you never showed up,â Enzo snorts.
âShut up pretty boy.â
âSpeaking of second year. Where are your friends in second year?â You interrupt, suddenly realizing that your brother was in fact surrounded by a whole gang of sixth years.
âTheyâre all scared of them,â Carter shrugs nonchalantly, gesturing towards the boys around you.
Mattheoâs jaw drops open in mock offense.
âI can assure you y/n, we are prime role models for young Slytherins.â He says.
âDidnât you and Draco just get a detention for sending a hoard of rabid pygmie puffs after a group of firsties?â Carter asks, taking a large bite of his eggs.
âMinor details.â
âRight. Note to self, Theodore is the only one of you to be left alone with Carter. Got it.â You joke, almost missing the tinge of red in Theoâs cheeks as he ducks his head, suddenly very interested in his breakfast.
âThatâs fine with me. Theo skips class all the time too, so I wonât be missing much,â Carter says matter of factly as he proceeds to drown his pancakes and eggs in syrup.
Now itâs Theoâs turn to drop his jaw at the young boy.
âLittle snitch, you said you wouldnât bring that up,â he says, throwing a bit of his toast at your younger brother.
Carter just laughs, tossing sticky egg right back.
âThatâs on you for trusting a twelve year old, I canât be held responsible for my actions, Iâm just a kid,â he replies, sticking his tongue out at his tutor.
You watch the scene before you play out, a smile growing on your face.
âOh heâs going to make Slytherin house proud,â Mattheo says with a grin as Theo proceeds to throw a bit of muffin back your brotherâs way.
âWoah woah woah there Theodore, leave y/nâs brother alone,â a voice says from behind you.
You turn to see Cormac approaching the table, dried pumpkin juice still staining the front of his shirt.
âPiss off Cormac,â Mattheo tells him, a scowl quickly taking over his face.
âDonât think I will. Canât stand by and watch my girlfriendâs brother get bullied,â he says, placing a protective hand on your shoulder. His gesture mightâve been nice a week ago, but at the moment you wanted to hurl.
âRight. Like you werenât the one who locked Carter in a broom closet the other day you bloody bastard. Howâd you like a replay of our little encounter?â Enzo sneers, going to rise from his seat only to be sat back down by Theo.
âIâm sorry, you did what?â You ask, fury rising in you as you whip around to face your boyfriend-for-not-much-longer.
âRelax, it was just some man to man bonding,â Cormac says, giving Carter a pat on the head. Carter smacks his hand away.
âSalazar Cormac, are you always this stupid, or do you just show off when weâre around? Get lost,â Theo says, the annoyance clear in his voice.
âYeah! If I wanted to hear from an asshole, Iâd just fart!â Carter adds, glaring up at the boy with crossed arms.
With a scowl, Cormac sneers at the group of Slytherin boys glaring right back at him before giving your shoulder a tug.
âCâmon then y/n. You shouldnât be hanging out with this filth anyway,â he practically growls.
You frown at the Gryffindor. What on Earth had made you like this boy? The mix of sheer embarrassment, disgust, and rage sends a shiver down your spine.
âFuck of Cormac. We are so, so done. And my brother isnât filth.â You snap, abruptly turning your back on him.
Youâre met with a satisfied smirk on Theoâs face as the other boys jeer at Cormac as he stomps away.
âBloody hell, who let me stay with that tosser for so long?â You mutter, stabbing at one of your sausages.
âNot to say I told you so, but I totally told you so,â Carter says through a mouthful of egg.
âPoint very well taken.â
The five of you eat in silence for a moment, but when you look up, you see Carter mouthing something furiously Theo who looks mortified.
âWhatâre you two on about?â You ask, breaking the silence as you glance back and forth between the two boys.
âYeah Theo, what are we on about?â Carter says pointedly at the older boy.
Mattheo and Enzo, now also fully invested, look between Carter and Theodore as well, a sinister grin spreading across Mattheoâs face as realization grows.
âOh I think I have a good idea of what theyâre on about,â he says, taking on a playful tone.
âDonât you start.â Theo grumbles.
You look blankly between the boys as they seem to be having a silent conversation amongst themselves.
âWell this has been lovely really. So glad you all got a front row seat to the drama that is my life, but I think itâs time I head out,â you say finally when none of the boys speak up.
As if coming to a stalemate, four heads turn to you, and you leave to a chorus of âBye, y/nâs and see you laters.â
You found yourself once again seated in the library, scribbling away on your DADA assignment. It had been a bit over a week since youâd dropped Cormac and youâd forgotten how bloody nice it was to not be constantly dragged down by him when studying. As you continue to scratch away at your parchment, a loud thud shakes you out of your focus.
âWhatâs up sissy?â Carter says, his bag joining his large stack of books on the table as he makes himself comfortable in the chair next to you. âMatt over here!â He whisper tells, gesturing frantically to the curly haired boy who was quickly making his way over to you.
âAh y/n! Perfect timing! Been such a pleasure chatting with you for the last several hours eh?â He says, sliding into the seat across from you.
You furrow your eyebrows in confusion.
âHuh?â
Just then, a miffed looking Theo bursts through the library door, eyes quickly zoning in on Mattheo and your brother.
âWhat did you two do?â You hiss as the boy begins stalking over.
âNothing!â Carter says quickly.
You glare at the two boys.
âWe might have allegedly started a small fire in the dorms,â Mattheo grumbles, trying to look invested in one of the random textbooks that had been strewn across the table.
âYou did what?â You whisper yell across the table.
âAllegedly!â He emphasizes, still not looking up.
âI know it was you two. And also probably Enzo.â Theo states unamusedly, walking up to the table, arms crossed.
âUs? We would never! Weâve been here studying with y/n this whole time!â Mattheo says, looking very offended for someone who was in fact guilty of what Theo was accusing.
âYeah?â Theo asks. âYouâve been here reading Advanced Love Spells in the third edition?â Theo says, raising an eyebrow as he gestures to the book Mattheo was holding.
âUh, yeah,â Mattheo responds.
âReally? Because itâs upside down,â Theo replies, snatching the book and turning it right side up before giving it back to Mattheo.
âI enjoy a challenge.â Mattheo retorts, doubling down as he snaps the volume shut.
Theo just dead stares his friend for a moment before sighing and slumping into the last remaining seat.
âIâm not covering for you if Snape asks me who did it.â He says eventually.
âBut you wonât snitch?â
Theo glares at his friend.
âDonât insult me.â He grumbles. Then turning towards Carter. âIâm advising to Snape that I begin tutoring you in potions too before you burn the entire castle down,â he tells him.
Carter just grins bashfully.
âGreat! Now that thatâs all settled, Iâll be off. Y/n, pleasure as always. Boys.â And with one last nod, and a sarcastic salute, Mattheo is off.
âOne day, Iâm going to murder him, and drop his body in the Black Lake,â Theo says under his breath.
âAlright. Which one of you is going to explain?â You ask, looking sternly between the two boys you were left with.
Before Theo has the chance to get a word in, Carter shoots up.
âI just remembered that I need to get a book for our tutoring session tonight! Be right back!â He exclaims, running off.
âWell I suppose that answers that,â Theo mutters.
âAre my parents going to get an owl? And if so, how bad will the howler be on a scale of 1-10?â
âI donât think theyâll be owled. If anything, Matt will take the fall for the three of them,â Theo assures you.
âSo what exactly happened?â
âNot entirely sure, but from what I gathered, Matt and Enzo decided that they would be able to help your brother with his potions homework, proceeded to forget about the cauldron sitting on an open flame, and then had the audacity to be surprised when a stack of parchment caught fire because Mattâs side of the dorm is a mess.â
You purse your lips.
âYeah, that sounds about right. Iâm so sorry. You share a room with them donât you?â
Theo nods his head.
âHowâd you know that?â
âCarter hasnât shut up about you since you started tutoring him.â You reply with an awkward laugh. âThanks for doing it by the way. And for letting him hang around you lot. He seems so much happier lately.â
A small smile appears on Theoâs face.
âWe like having him around. Kidâs a spitfire. And an excellent alibi. Not that weâd ever get him into trouble,â he says quickly.
You let out a light laugh.
âIâm very sure that Carter would find trouble with or without you lot. He tends to go looking for it.â
The two of you fall into a comfortable silence as you wait for Carter to return, and you try to turn your focus back to your assignment. Itâs significantly harder to concentrate you find however, with the handsome Slytherin sitting across from you fingering idly through one of the textbooks heâd picked up.
âSomeoneâs deep in thought.â
Theoâs voice jolts you into the present, and you blush knowing heâd definitely caught you staring.
âJust annoyed with this bloody DADA assignment,â you mumble, hoping he hadnât realized just how long youâd been staring.
âDid it earlier. Itâs a bit of a snooze.â
You nod your head in agreement.
âWould you want to work on it together sometime?â He asks suddenly, words practically tumbling from his mouth.
You look up at the boy in surprise.
âUm, Iâm not sure a really need a tutorâŠâ you say trailing off.
Theo gives you a lopsided grin, shaking his head a bit.
âI meant as a study date.â
You feel yourself blush for what feels like the thousandth time.
âOh. Then yes. Iâd like that.â You say, holding back the huge grin that was threatening to take over your face.
âIâm back!â Carter sings, skipping his way back to the table and effectively ending the moment. âWas that enough time for you to ask her out? I can only stare at those dusty shelves for so long before I start going crazy.â
Your jaw drops as you turn to your brother.
âDid you really just set me up?â
âDuh. Christmas is only a few weeks away, and you clearly donât have good judgment. I canât risk having to see some stinky loser over break! And Mattheo said Theoâs had a crush on you since forever, so it was really a win for everybody.â
Now it was Theoâs turn to look embarrassed and offended.
âYou didnât need to tell her the last bit,â he hissed at your brother.
Carter just shrugs in response.
âThis is what you two get for putting a twelve year old in charge of your love lives.â
âCarter, I donât think either of us put you in charge of our love life,â you tell your all too satisfied younger brother.
âWell you shouldâve. I got better results in a couple weeks than you two did in sixteen years.â
And thatâs a wrap! I know I strayed from the rec a tad bit, but hopefully I did your request justiceđ«¶đœ Anyway, live laugh love Carterđđœ

Til Itâs Gone
Theodore Nott x reader
Based on this cute lil request đ€
Summary: It seemed like theyâd always been there. An ever-growing thorn in Theodoreâs side. He really didnât realize what heâd had until it was gone. (Happy ending I swear)
word count: 3.2k
Theo let out a heavy sigh as he slumped into his seat, ignoring the cheery smile on your face as you turned to face him.
âHi Theodore!â You chirped brightly, gaze landing on the tall brunette boy coming to sit next to you.
Salazar, here we go, Theo thought bitterly.
âTheo.â
âRight. Theo. How was your day?â You continued on, seemingly oblivious to his indifference as you scribbled mindlessly on your parchment.
Theodore wasnât stupid. Quite the opposite in fact. He knew you liked him. That much youâd made rather obvious. Especially as of late. If saving him a seat everyday in this miserable class didnât make it clear to everyone that you had a certain affection for the boy, then the notes dropped in his bag, or kisses blown from across the Great Hall certainly did.
The only reason Theo even accepted sitting next to you was because the seat was positioned perfectly to be just outside of Professor Binnsâ field of vision, saving him the work of pretending to care about whatever topic the professor was rattling on about.
âI donât see why you even put up with it all,â Mattheo often said. âJust reject them and move on with it.â
âOr at least stop sitting with them. Youâre only encouraging them,â Enzo would add.
Yet, here he was, still sat lazily in the seat next to you. Theo didnât particularly care that you fancied him to be quite honest. Heâd gotten used to the same pattern of stoically ignoring your chatter, copying your carefully organized notes, and leaving. So long as you werenât too annoying, he didnât see the harm in sticking around. Besides itâs not like you werenât easy on the eyes. And he supposed there was something to be said about the confidence with which you acted that set you apart from the general hoard of girls harboring similar feelings.
âTheo?â
Your voice snapped him out of his thoughts as he glances at you out of the corner of his eye.
âFine.â He replied tersely before turning once more to stare blankly ahead.
Heâd changed his mind. Absolutely not. This was horrible. At this point, Theo wasnât even sure if you actually liked him, or were only claiming you did as an excuse to see how much you could embarrass him.
âMate, this is getting to be Weaselette levels of weird,â Draco said as their group stared in horror at the third year who had approached them warily in the halls with a poem to read aloud in hand.
Theo visibly shuddered, remembering the awful valentine the youngest Weasley had sent Saint Potter a few years prior.
âSave everyone the embarrassment and walk away now, kid,â Draco told the boy. âGo on. Scram.â
The third year didnât need to be told twice and quickly darted off, away from the group of Slytherin boys.
âIt isnât even 8am mate. Where does that girl get the time to do all this?â Enzo grumbles as they made their way into the Great Hall for breakfast.
Theo simply ignores his friendâs comments, something he was getting used to doing, as they all sat down at their usual table.
Theyâd all seemed to have an opinion on you as soon as it became apparent that you had developed a crush on him, and Theo had just about had enough of his friendâs seemingly endless comments regarding his not so secret admirer.
The familiar small parcel tied neatly with a white ribbon that sat waiting for Theodore in his usual spot didnât go unnoticed, starting the whole thing up again.
âFor Salazarâs sake Theo, do you not find it creepy?â Draco asks, eyeing the package.
Theo rolled his eyes at his dramatic friend.
âI donât care. You all seem to be more interested in y/nâs little stunts than I am, and Iâm the one theyâre intended for. Theyâre harmless. Just leave it and theyâll probably get bored eventually.â
âYeah, or theyâll just keep it up thinking youâre playing all hard to get or what not,â Mattheo snorts.
Theo just glares at his friend, stabbing a sausage with his fork. Just behind Mattâs head, seated at a table with your own friends, Theo sees you blow a kiss his way, winking cheekily.
âAw, they growing on you? Who wouldâve thought dark and broody would be into golden girl herself,â Mattheo teases, earning him a sharp kick from under the table.
âMorning Theodore,â you greet, as the brooding boy once again took his seat beside you, this time in potions.
âItâs Theo.â
âThatâs what I said.â
You hear the boy let out a small snort and you smile to yourself. That was one of the biggest reactions youâd been able to get out of the boy.
Your friends often wondered why you so insistently pursued the grumpy Slytherin boy, despite his general apathy towards you, and honestly, it was as simple as the fact that you enjoyed the challenge.
It was like your own little game of cat and mouse. Constantly finding little ways to make the boy smile, even if he didnât realize it was you. And the rush of excitement you got anytime you were able to elicit any sort of reaction from the boy was like a drug that kept you coming back for more.
Youâd found that the best way to elicit such reactions was by staging little acts of public affection whether it be a kiss sent his way or an origami note perched on his desk. Each time, you could see the heat rise softly in the boyâs cheeks as he tried desperately to keep it at bay, sometimes even fighting back a small smile.
Today you had come to class a bit early in order to set up both you and Theoâs potion stations before the brown haired Slytherin arrived, taking extra care to gather enough ingredients for each of your potions. You werenât even sure he realized that you were doing all this for him, but watching his satisfied smile as he brewed away made it worth it.
That was another thing you had grown to appreciate about the boy. While his friends were all rather light-minded and rowdy, his wit and level-headedness balanced out the group. Theo was smart, and didn't feel the need to make a point about it, flying under the radar of many of your classmates when it came to who had the best marks. Sure it was fun to tease the boy, but you also had a certain admiration for him that went deeper then the nonserious way you often conducted yourself around him.
The rest of the class passed in a sort of agreed upon silence as you worked on your potions. Of course youâd like to talk to Theo a bit, but youâd found heâd preferred the silence, usually not uttering more than a few words to you per class. It was something you could work on eventually you supposed.
âSee you later Theodore,â you said brightly once you had finished gathering up your things. Joining your group of friends, you toss one last wave over your shoulder at the boy, smiling to yourself. He hadnât bothered to correct you for once.
The last thing Theo expected while roaming the dusty shelves of the library was to hear his own name being whispered from deeper within the maze of books he was searching through. The library was where he went to escape his friendâs incessant gossip about the rest of the schoolâs population, yet he was interested in what was being said about him. He didnât often venture outside his usual group of Slytherins, so he didnât know exactly what he expected to hear.
Following the loud whispers, Theo stopped, looming in the shadows once he was able to make out the dark figures of students huddled in one of the many rows of books.
âSure Theo might be one of the most attractive boys in our year, but his head is so far up his own arse, itâs a wonder he can see straight.â A voice practically snarled as its owner leaned lazily against one of the shelves.
Theo felt himself immediately tense. Is that what they thought now? His fists clenched as he refrained from crashing through the shelves to give these snots a piece of his mind.
âHonestly, being an arrogant prick isnât something to be proud of. Heâs just like every other Slytherin who makes being a pure blood their only personality trait.â Another voice adds.
âOh fuck off you two.â
Theoâs ears perk up, surprised to hear your voice join the chatter.
âPlease, like youâre one to talk y/n. Youâre practically blinded by desperation. Theo Nott is an utter prat and he treats you like shit. Have some bloody self respect.â
âIâm not desperate, you git. And Theodore isnât an arrogant prick. Thereâs nothing wrong with having a little bit of pride. Itâs not like you see him going around bragging about how amazing he is. If youâre going to talk about arrogant pricks, talk about Cormac. Or Draco even.â
âWhatever. That still doesnât excuse his behavior towards you. I donât understand why you insist on embarrassing yourself when he clearly has no interest in you. But heâs too much of a coward to say anything.â
âOh for the love of- Theodore doesnât owe anyone anything. Me included. I do the things I do because I can and I want to, and quite frankly it isnât anyone elseâs business but my own. So why donât you two get your heads out of your own arses and stop worrying about me, and stop worrying about Theodore.â
With that, Theo listened as your footsteps slowly got quieter as you stomped away, your words ringing in his head.
Theo had never been in love before. But in that moment, he was beginning to see the appeal. Fuck that was hot as hell.
For Theo, it all spiraled down from there as he finally began to see you. Really see you. And not just as some girl who had a silly crush on him.
It started with the notes. He hadnât noticed before, but it wasnât just him that youâd slip a note to in the hallway. After one particularly difficult transfiguration exam, Theo watched as you dropped a note with a chocolate candy attached into the bags of your friends.
Another day, he arrived to potions early to find you carefully setting up his station as he hovered in the doorway. After class, he didnât rush out like he normally would and instead watched as you quietly slipped an extra copy of your notes to a student he knew struggled with the class.
And while you werenât exactly blowing kisses to all of your friends across the Great Hall, Theo began to notice the way you didnât hesitate to throw your arms around your friends, hugging them tightly when you got excited. Or grasping onto a hand as you wandered through Hogsmeade, arms swinging in carefree bliss.
It was about a month after Theo had begun his silent observations that he began to feel it. The slow pull away as your presence began to fade from his life. He almost didnât notice at first. It had been about a week since heâd last found a note in his bag, or parcel waiting for him on his seat. You still smiled brightly at him if your eyes met from across the Great Hall, but now that he thought about it, Theo couldnât remember the last time youâd blown a kiss his way.
It all came to a head the day Theo walked into History of Magic to see one of your friends sitting next to you in his usual seat, chattering away.
âNice mate, they finally get the message?â Mattheo asks with a grin, elbowing him in the ribs.
Theo remained silent as he followed his friend to a seat in the back, eyes not leaving the spot where he should be sitting.
It continued on like this for what Theo thought was eternity. Salazar he missed you. Weeks passed filled with sleepless nights where he would stare at the ceiling contemplating where he had gone wrong. At the very beginning really, he thought dryly, remembering his initial feelings of agitation and annoyance. He wished he could go back and give himself a good smack upside the head.
The day Theo passed you in the hall and you didnât even spare him a passing glance was the day Theo finally broke.
âLorenzo.â He said, slamming the door of their dormitory open, startling his roommate.
âTheodore?â
Theo glares at the use of the name.
âYouâre the romantic type. How do I do it?â Theo asked as he stomped his way over to his bed.
With a bemused look, Enzo swings around to look at his roommate, wondering if one of the ghosts had somehow possessed him.
âYou want to know. How to do romance?â Enzo asks slowly, not fully believing heâd heard his friend correctly. Theo was probably one of the most emotionally detached people heâd ever met.
âYes. Y/n. I want to make it up to her.â
"I thought we didn't like her?" Enzo said, growing more concerned for his friend's mental state by the minute.
"We didn't. But now we do, and I want to make things right."
Enzo blinked. Oh this was not going to be easy.
As you sat in the court yard with a group of your friends, textbooks in hand as you attempted to study for the charms test the next day, your eyes flickered momentarily as a sea of green wandered by. Quickly you look away before your eyes could meet Theoâs and you try to turn your attention back to your friendâs idle chatter.
It had been what? A month since youâd stopped actively seeking out the boyâs attention. Maybe more. And you missed him. His sarcastic smiles and pretty eyes that seemed to be fixed in a permanent glare.
But you were also tired. Mostly tired of the snarky comments. âHave some self respect.â âSo desperate.â The voices of your classmates echoed in your head, and eventually you began to draw back. You knew heâd noticed. Youâd seen his eyebrows furrow in confusion that day youâd let your friend sit beside you in class. A pang of guilt washing over you. But itâs not like he showed any signs of wanting things to go back to the way they were. So you simply stayed away. Maybe thatâs what heâd wanted all along.
Your thoughts followed you as you eventually made your way back to your dormitory, wanting nothing more than to wrap yourself up in a warm blanket and disappear. As you approach your bed however, you make out something that definitely wasnât there when youâd left that morning. A gorgeous bouquet of little white flowers wrapped in thick brown paper, tied off with a silky emerald green ribbon. Stamped on the corner of one of the brown folds, the letters TN shown at you in gold curls.
âOh those are beautiful!â Your roommate gasps when she sees the flowers. âLily of the valley! Those can symbolize renewal ya know. Usually theyâre given as like, an apology of sorts, or if someone wants to start over.â She tells you. Ever the herbology buff. âWho are they from?â
A smile grows on your lips as her words sink in and you press the flowers close to your chest.
âJust a special friend,â you reply.
After all the months of Theo's coldness towards you, you'd never quite allowed yourself to truly believe the boy would ever return your affection, but maybe things were beginning to look up.
Over the course of the next several days, you begin to notice little things that had Theodoreâs name written all over them.
After the charms exam the following day, you find a note of encouragement written in Theoâs familiar scrawl dropped in your bag along with a bag of your favorite toffees. How heâd managed to get it there without you noticing was beyond you.
There were little things too. Your stations in herbology and astronomy were always set up and waiting for you when you walked into class. The book on ancient runes that youâd been searching for showed up on your bedside table. (You werenât sure how he was doing that either, but you werenât about to question it.) And there always seemed to be a comfortable smirk on Theodoreâs face whenever your eyes wandered over to where he sat with his friends, eyes seemingly boring into you.
Now, you sat quietly in your own little nook of the library, quill in hand as you scribbled away at your ancient runes essay, the book Theo left you being quite helpful.
You were happy he'd found his way back into your life, happier still that he was actually making a point to be included in your life.
âYou donât mind do you?â A voice asks, startling you and causing ink to splatter against the parchment.
With shocked eyes, you look up to see Theodore standing next your table as if your thoughts had summoned him there. He sets his books down, frowning at your now ruined paper.
With a flick of his wand, the mess is gone.
âSorry bout that,â he mutters, sitting down across from you.
You blink, not entirely convinced youâre not hallucinating.
âYou know, I remember you being much more talkative,â he says, a sly smirk reaching across his face as you realize youâve yet to say anything to the boy.
âI remember you being significantly less talkative,â you blurt out before quickly covering your mouth with your hand in horror.
To your relief, the boy in front of you lets out a low laugh.
"Fair enough. See you've been liking the book," he says, gesturing towards the open text.
"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to say something, thank you."
"Don't worry bout it. I never said thank you for all the things you did. Probably should've." He replies, looking down as he pulls out his own quill and parchment. "I am sorry by the way."
"For?" You ask, head tilting to the side in curiosity.
"Everything. Or for doing nothing is probably more accurate," he says, flipping open his text book.
You can tell that he's nervous as he fidgets with the corners of the book's pages, and you desperately want to ease the tension between the two of you.
A moment of silence passes between the two of you as you debate whether or not to say anything more, or go back to your essay. Finally, you look up at the boy that you had been chasing after for all these months, and remind yourself that he had actually been the one to go through all the trouble of seeking you out tonight.
Gathering your courage, you open your mouth to speak. "Theodore?"
"Yes, Bella?" he replies, eyes carefully following the lines of next.
"Would you like to join me in Hogsmeade this weekend?"
His eyes snap up at this, and you see the familiar hint of red make it's way into his cheeks once more.
"Only if I can have my seat back in History of Magic." The boy replies.
"I think I can have that arranged."
Hi hi hi! I hope this lives up to all of your hopes and dreams, anon đ«¶đœ

The Slytherin Boys
As Soulmate Tropes
Ft. Mattheo Riddle, Theodore Nott, Draco Malfoy, and Lorenzo Berkshire
Mattheo Riddle
The timer
Everyone has a timer on their wrist that counts down to the second you meet your soulmate
Matteo thinks itâs utter bullshit
Heâs not really one to be told what to do
Especially not by something as silly as fate
Before he even begins at Hogwarts, he wraps his wrist in a leather cuff, never taking it off
A soulmate is only a weakness after all
Like his father said
When he finally makes his first friend, Theodore Nott, on the train to Hogwarts, the boy looks at his wrist curiously, but says nothing
The boyâs own timer reads something a bit over six years
He meets others, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Pansy Parkinson, all displaying their timers proudly out in the open
He would never want to be that vulnerable
Of course heâs tempted to look when he sees Lorenzo Berkshireâs timer run out in first year when theyâre sorted into Slytherin with Daphne Greengrass
Still he doesnât look
Over the years he watches his friendsâ timers run out as they each meet their soulmate until itâs just him and Theodore left.
âYouâve really not looked?â Theo asks him one night as they share a smoke up in the astronomy tower
Matteo shakes his head no
Itâs not until a bit over a year later when Theoâs timer runs out as he quite literally runs into his soulmate that Matteo even considers taking a small peak
That night, he lay in bed, eyes boring into the ceiling
Ever so slowly, his fingers wrap around the cuff, inching it off agonizingly
When he finally sees his timer, he blinks
00:00:00
Heâd missed them
His head falls back against his pillow as the leather cuff returns to its place, securely around his wrist
Heâd never wanted a soulmate anyway, he reasoned with himself
What he didnât know, was heâd also missed all the stolen glances at him since third year
He makes it through four more sleepless nights before he tears the cuff off, throwing it against the wall, alarming Theo
âI missed them. I fucking missed them.â He says, staring blankly at the wall as Theo looks at his friend sadly
About a week later, it finally goes noticed that the leather cuff is gone
Matteo is sitting in the grass by the Black Lake when they approach
âThey stopped sometime in third year. You bumped into me walking off the quidditch pitch.â
Matteo looks up, mouth gaping open as he takes in his soulmate for the first time
âSorry I didnât say anything sooner. Figured you didnât want to know with the whole cuff thing and all.â
It takes him a moment to reply, but once he does, he will not stop apologizing
He looks at his soulmate as if they painted the sun in the sky
Itâs slow going at first, Matteo never really believed in love
But once heâs in, heâs in deep
His friends are all shocked of course, but more so relieved that Matteo finally had someone that really clicked
Matteo never wanted a soulmate, but heâd be damned if his was ever torn away from him
Theodore Nott
First Words
The first words one said to their soulmate are permanently scrawled across their other halfâs skin
No matter how much someone tried, the words wouldnât budge
Couldnât be removed, couldnât be changed, couldnât be covered by anything other than clothing
Theo knew
Heâd tried
âFuck off, Nottâ
Was permanently brandished across his collarbone
His mother had gasped when she saw it, rushing to cover the words
The epitome of romance Theo had thought dryly to himself on more than one occasion
He told himself he didnât care
Maybe there was a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why his soulmate wanted him to fuck off despite never speaking to him before
He never let another soul see those words though
Not even when his friends went around, proudly showing off their own words
He didnât believe in that shit, heâd told them
But it was hard not to believe it in third year when Matteo finally spoke to Daphneâs sister, Astoria, for the first time
Their words matched perfectly
And so did they
In his fourth year, Matteo finally discovered the blasted words after Theo ended up in the hospital wing
He was made fun of ruthlessly for the next several weeks
Not even his soulmate- as a stranger wanted anything to do with him
Maybe that was why, at fifteen, he began his flirtatious escapades
Flirting with anything really, that had a pulse
If his soulmate didnât want him, surely someone else did
And thatâs how he found himself where he was now
Leaning up against the cold stone wall, a comfortable buzz setting in from the drink in his hand as he chatted up some Ravenclaw
He was about to lean in when a hand appeared on his shoulder, pulling him back roughly
âFuck off, Nott.â The voice said, a hint of agitation in their voice
Theoâs head snapped in the direction of the voice, eyes widening and mind suddenly alarmingly clear
He felt his heart beat speed up as he took in the sight
A moment passes, then two
Blinking, he tried to think of something- anything to say
âSalazar, youâre perfect.â
Fuck.
Theo watched the hairs on his soulmateâs neck prickle as they freeze, eyes slowly meeting his own
âThatâs not funny Nott. Who told you to say that?â They ask warily as their friend watches in amused excitement
Tugging at the collar of his shirt, Theo finally shows his words, the black script bold against his tan skin
Theo had always wanted
Theo had always wanted to be wanted
And Theoâs soulmate made sure he always knew just how wanted he was
Draco Malfoy
Hot and Cold
Draco remembered the first time his mother explained the soulmate stuff to him
He was only five when she tucked him into bed and explained
The closer you were to your soulmate, the hotter you felt
The further you were, the colder you felt
But once you were together, everything would feel right
Simple enough his young self had figured
Almost like a game of sorts
A game of fate
He always thought it was strange that his mother was constantly shivering despite his fathers tendency to run quite warm
They must prefer it that way
He himself however, grew up always a bit too cold for his liking
It was early on that he learned to bundle up in layers
His mother cast especially nice warming charms
As he grew older, it confused Draco that his parents ran at two very opposite temperatures, despite his motherâs words echoing in the back of his head
The whole soulmate thing must not be that perfect if âjust rightâ meant one parent felt like a block of ice while the other was practically slick with sweat
He didnât really understand until the summer before he was to leave for Hogwarts
Thatâs when his parents hosted a small going away gathering
His cousin Enzo was there
As were the Greengrass sisters
Draco watched Enzo begin to grow agitated, sweat beginning to form on his brow
When the boy looked up to see the older Greengrass sister though, it was as if a wave of calm had washed over him
The heat in his cousinâs cheeks faded as he made his way over to the girl
Thatâs when Draco finally realized
It didnât go unnoticed by him then, when his fatherâs normally warm aura cooled considerably to a suspiciously comfortable level when the Nott family arrived
It was then that Draco determined that soulmates only lead to heartbreak
What was the point of it didnât guarantee happiness?
Draco was on the train, surrounded by his friends when he first felt it
A small spark of heat, flaring up in his chest
He ignored it
He felt it again at the sorting ceremony, quickly rushing to sit with his new house mates
For once hoping to blend in
The dungeons of the Slytherin common room felt safe
The cool air of the stone walls enveloping him
Every so often, Draco felt a familiar warmth begin to overtake him, subconsciously leading him towards it
But he always did his best to fight it off
Lately however, the tingling feeling of warmth seemed to be chasing after him
Almost as if whoever was causing it was actively searching him out
Draco was sitting in the Three Broomsticks, butter beer in hand when it finally happened
He felt the heat wave first
Then the beads of sweat slowly forming on his head
His eyes flicked about frantically as his friends watched him with concern
When his eyes finally landed on the culprit, he knew
A wave of cool ran over him and for the first time in his life, Draco wasnât shivering against a sweater, or sweating like a mad man
He felt
Right
âHi.â He says, dazed as he stares at his soulmate in awe
Lorenzo Berkshire
The Red Strings of Fate
Enzo couldnât remember a time when he couldnât see the red strings twisting, knotting, winding around everyone he knew
They always started out the same
Tied in a neat bow around someoneâs pinky before looping off into the distance
Occasionally, heâd see two people, their strings meeting, tying them together
Theirs always had a mesmerizing gold sheen
It fascinated him
His own parentsâ strings trailed off in opposite directions
Not that heâd ever say anything about it
He knew there were others like him
People who could see the strings
Advertising their love matching services
Always able to tell if people were compatible or not
Enzo never said a word
At Hogwarts, Enzo often heard the Slytherin girls chatter about how romantic the idea was
Having a soulmate out there, tied to you forever
Enzo smiled, knowing that Pansyâs string was connected to one Blaise Zabini
And Astoriaâs string lead to Matteo Riddle
In second year, heâd let out an unattractive snort, seeing his cousin Dracoâs string connect to Hermione Granger
Heâd almost let it slip right then and there
But still, he kept quiet, subtly leading his friends in the right direction
Even if it meant âaccidentallyâ locking Draco and Hermione in the potions storeroom without their wands
It wasnât until much later that Enzo realized heâd never really paid all that much attention to the string tied to his own finger
What if they didnât believe in the strings?
What if they didnât want to be found?
One night, when his dorm mates were asleep
He tugged on the red string, feeling the taunt pull on the other end
He didnât really expect much
Heâd seen peopleâs strings lead off over the horizon, end no where in sight
He knew it was totally plausible to never see his soulmate
But it would be nice
Sometimes at night, when his roommates were all asleep and he was still wide awake, heâd roam the halls, following the string
It always seemed to take him the same way, up the winding staircases until he found himself outside an ever familiar common room door
He wasnât stupid
He knew his soulmate had to be in there, but still, he never searched beyond those quiet nights, the portraits on the walls looking on silently
It all changes though, the day he feels his pinky finger tug a bit as a stranger sits down next to him in potions
âYou donât mind, do you?â The breathy voice asks
Enzo is too busy staring at the string connecting their fingers, a familiar golden sheen glimmering between them, to answer
When he looks up, he finds pretty eyes looking back, a small smile tugging on pink lips
âThe portraits are quite chatty you know. I wondered if youâd try to come find me, but figured it was best to take matters into my own hands.â
A soft blush rises to his cheeks as he looks sheepishly at his soulmate
âSo should I lock us in a storage room without our wands now? Or can we skip that step?â
Enzo lets out bark of laughter before quickly getting a hold of himself
After years of following other peopleâs strings, he was glad someone had followed their string to him

Wear my name, be my girl
Theo, Blaise, Draco, Enzo and Mattheo
Bonus: Regulus Black (Marauders era)
An innocent laugh with the Weasley twins before the quidditch game gets someone jealous. When he intervenes it becomes clear that he wants you to wear his jacket and be his girl.
Thanks to this request!
I kinda processed the request wrong in my brain and instead of just writing for Theo and Mattheo, I wrote it for all of them. I wanted to write for Tom II Riddle but he doesnât give me quidditch vibes, so Iâm sorry no Tom. Also, not to sure about this piece, but I did have fun writing this. Anyways hopefully you have fun reading it.
For the Regulus Black bonus you can skip the intro.
It was a sunny, but chilly day. You breathe in the fresh air and head for the quidditch stadium. You arrived at the entrance and looked over to see if your friends were already at your regular spot, not noticing that a certain slytherin was staring at you. The slytherin team had just finished warming up when you arrived and he was about to get off his broom and leave his friends when the Weasley twins approached you.
âEarly bird are we?â Fred sings as he sees you scanning the stands. You nod and smile, happy to have found someone you know. âApparently too early, my friends arenât here yet.â Fred chuckles and takes a step closer. âWeâre here. Weâll keep you company.â George senses someone staring and looks over to the slytherins. âYeaah. That might cost us the freaking game.â You and Fred look a bit confused at Georgeâs words, so he points in the direction of the slytherins âYour boyfriend doesnât seem too pleased with us.â You follow his finger and you canât help but blush, before quickly looking away. âNot my boyfriend.â You chuckle. Unfortunately.
âMind telling him that.â Fred jokes. âHermoine told us heâs crazy obsessed with you always trying to impress you and stuff.â You shake your head at Georgeâs words. âDonât believe everything she says.â Fred smiles, noticing the slight blush on your face. âShe says heâs answering questions during class faster than she can.â George says and Fred immediately follows. âAnd letâs not forget that whenever he flies near you heâs always doing cool tricks to get your attention.â George nods in agreement. âThis game is going to be a curse, since heâs going to be even more arrogant and more eager to win.â Fred looks back to you. âAnd the way heâs staring daggers right now. Thatâs just unhealthy behavior.â You lick your lips and smile as the twins complain. âYou guys really donât like him?â Fred and George are baffled by your ridiculous question. âNo, we donât like him at all.â They both sing with humor as they state the obvious, making you laugh so hard you place a hand on your chest.
Theodore
You were too busy laughing to notice Theodore walk over to you, but the Weasleyâs do see him and quickly say their goodbyes. You look up at Theodore when he stops next to you, but continues to stare at Fred and George with dead eyes. âPlease, donât curse them.â You chuckle and make Theo look at you. âWhat were you talking about? You know theyâre just fools, no good knuckleheads.â You stare at him through your lashes, judging him with your eyes only. He sighs and throws his head to the side. âMaybe Iâm overreacting but I donât want them to get the wrong idea.â Your expression changes as you think for a moment. âWhat do you mean?â Theodore shrugs. âIf youâre always nice to them they might think you like them.â
You frown for a second. âBut I do like them.â Theodore rolls his eyes, a bit annoyed by how oblivious you were. âI mean like as in really really like them.â You chuckle at the suggestion. âTheo, weâre talking about Fred and George. Weâre really just friends. And donât tell me that guys and girls canât be friends, because weâre friends.â His face goes blank and you struggle to figure out what heâs thinking. After a few seconds Theo presses his lips into a line. âRight, of course.â Theodore almost wants to reach for his chest as he feels his heart squeeze. Arm I stuck in the friendzone? How did I end up in the friendzone? He tries to shake the insecure feeling that slowly creeps up on him, but just then he notices Fred and George looking your way and snickering.
âUhm, silly idea, but how about you wear this for good luck and to make sure that nobody bothers you again.â You watch him carefully take off his jacket and feel yourself get flustered at the idea of wearing a jacket with the name Nott on it. A nervous laugh rolls over your lips. âPeople will think something is going on between us. Earlier George already referred to you as my boyfriend.â You bite your lip softly after saying that last bit and Theodore canât help but wonder if you would like him to be your boyfriend. He definitely wants to be yours. âIâll take that as a compliment.â He smirks when he notices you blushing at his words. He takes a step closer to you and watches your pretty face heat up a little more as he drapes his jacket over your shoulders.
You slip your arms in the sleeves and allow yourself to get comfortable. You scan Theoâs face in an attempt to figure out what heâs thinking about, but just then Mattheo, who was running late, enters the stadium. As he passes you he notices youâre wearing Theoâs jacket. âFinally won her over, Notty-boy? About time.â Mattheo jokes and wants to ruffle Theoâs hair, but Theodore angrily pushes his hand away and gives Mattheo a scowl. Mattheo just laughs and walks over to the rest of the team to get scolded by Draco for being late. Theo continues to stare at Mattheo, cursing his friend and avoiding you. You watch Theodore as he refuses to look at you and youâre forced to take a step closer to get his attention. âJust ignore him.â Theo says with a sigh and you smile before looking down at your fidgeting hands. When you look up after a few seconds youâve made up your mind and shake your head. âNo, I wonât ignore it. How about you explain what he meant by âfinally won her overâ.â
Your eyes donât leave Theodoreâs face and a nervous hand moves through his messy hair. His tongue moves over his lips as he searches for the right words. âLetâs just say, I wouldnât mind if people thought you were my girlfriend, because I like that idea.â You take another step closer to him and look at him with teasing eyes. âYou like that idea ofâŠâ A smile tugs on his lips as he notices you get closer and urge him to confess. âI like the idea of you being my girlfriend.â A ridiculously happy smile spreads on your lips. âI must say I like that idea as well.â You try to sound as calm as possible, teasing him a little more, but your excitement is obvious. A soft laugh escapes his lips and he quickly reaches for your face holding you for a passionate kiss. When you break the kiss, his lips stay close to yours as you drown in each otherâs eyes. âYou should go back to your team before Draco freaks out.â He ignores your words and brushes over your bottom lip to ask for another intense kiss. âJust a few more kisses for good luck.â
Blaise
When Blaise approaches you three with his serious demeanor all laughter goes quiet and the twins awkwardly say their goodbyes. As soon as theyâre out of sight you turn towards Blaise, whoâs frowning in the direction they left. âDonât worry theyâre just being friendly.â He huffs, before finally turning towards you. âTrust me, no guy is ever just friendly.â You frown, before a smirk starts to tug on your lips. âOh, so every guy has an agenda?â Blaise nods, his eyes still dark with jealousy. âYes.â He answers without thinking it through and still glancing over in the direction of Fred and George. âSo whatâs yours?â You ask cheekily, happy that he got caught in your little trap and you cross your arms as you stare up at him. Immediately he looks at you and realizes what he said. You notice a hint of nervousness glimmer in his eyes as he averts his eyes and chuckles.
âMaybe not all guys. All Gryffindor guys. And Matt, he has like three agendas. And Enzo but his agenda is obvious, dude flirts with everyone.â Blaise tries to change the topic by ridiculing his friends. âBut you donât have a secret agenda?â You ask, not pleased with his answer. âNope.â He tries to sound casual, but his brain is working on an excuse to leave, because he could feel himself heat up. You chuckle. âGood, because for a moment there I thought you were jealous.â Blaise forces an awkward laugh. âNah. Why would I be?â You take a step closer and bite your lip. âI donât know, itâs not like weâre dating.â Blaise nods, but thereâs a hint of disappointment in his eyes. Weâre not dating. Iâm very much aware. No need to shove it in my face.
âAnyways, I better get going. Cedricâs waiting for me.â You make up on the spot, hoping to confirm your suspicion. âCedric?â Blaiseâs voice raises a bit, making his displeasure obvious. You try to suppress your cheeky smile and nod seriously. Blaise quickly realizes that he has no reason to keep you away from Cedric, but he hates the idea of you spending the entire game cosying up next to that damn hufflepuff.
Luckily Blaiseâs brain comes up with the perfect plan. âYeah, uhm, but before you go- I was just up there and it gets pretty cold, so⊠here take this and uhm be sure to wear it so you stay warm.â You can no longer contain your smile as Blaise takes off his jacket and hands it to you. You hold the jacket and stare at the letters forming his name. âIsnât it weird that Iâm wearing this? I mean weâre just friends.â Thanks for the reminder, not necessary. âFriends can wear jackets with their friendâs name on them.â Blaise argues and you laugh softly as you put on his jacket. âIâve never seen you wear Dracoâs.â He loved you wearing his jacket and couldnât help but stare, ignoring your counter argument. âWould it really be so bad if people thought we were more than friends?â Blaise suddenly blurs, still adoring you in his jacket. He needed to know, because he wanted you to be his girl and wear his name every game, and maybe even have his name one day.
You close the last bit of space between you two, so youâre now almost pressed against him. Itâs then that he realizes his feelings might not be one sided. You meet his eyes and with a soft voice you speak up. âNo, it wouldnât-â You fall silent when Blaise tilts your chin up. âAnd would it be so bad if we were more than friends?â You gently shake your head no and he leans in to kiss you tenderly. âTook you a while.â You tease when the kiss breaks and he smiles. âShut up.â He whispers, before kissing you again and wrapping his arms around him.
You both break the kiss when you hear the slytherin team cheer for Blaise and you. You look over to them and chuckle. Blaise pulls you against his chest. âHow about you wear that jacket to every game and I go search for some new friends.â You laugh at the last bit and press your lips against his. âDonât worry, if I can have you and your jacket, Iâll gladly make peace with your merry band of idiots.â Blaise leans in for another kiss, but is interrupted by Dracoâs yelling. âHey! You should be preparing for the game.â Blaise rolls your eyes. âMinus Draco.â You joke and Blaise raises his eyebrows in agreement. âOne last kiss for good luck?â
Draco frowns in annoyance as you and Blaise kiss for what feels like minutes. âTheyâre gonna have to part at some point right?â Enzo joins Draco. âI donât know if I got to kiss her, I wouldnât need air either.â
Draco
Youâre too busy laughing with the twins to notice an agitated Draco strut over to you. Itâs only when he literally pushes them aside that you meet his eyes. âCan you fools stop bothering her.â He snaps, his voice poisonous, and you cross your arms looking at Draco with a stern look. âThey were not bothering me.â Draco huffs, thinking he clearly knows better than you. âThey are always bothering you, talking to you for no reason.â Fred and George snicker. âLike you.â Draco looks at them with disgust and wrinkles his nose, before turning his face towards you. âWalk with me.â He demands with a calm and surprisingly gentle voice.
As soon as you're a few steps away from the Weasleys you meet his eyes with a stern look. âWhat was that for?â You snap and Draco drops his head knowing that you hated it when he was unkind to your friends. âI was saving you. They were clearly flirting.â You shake your head. âThereâs no need for you to be so protective of me.â Draco moves closer to you and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear. âYes, I do. Youâre sweet, innocent and ridiculously beautiful. If I donât watch over you⊠youâll end up with the wrong type of guy.â You soften, knowing that his concern for you is genuine. âI know you mean well, Draco, but canât you be a little less aggressive.â Draco sighs, not really seeing any problem in pushing people and snapping at them. He adores your sweet face and calms down. âMaybe there is a less aggressive way to keep idiots away from you.â You look at him questioningly and Draco slips off his jacket.
âHere, wear my quidditch jacket.â He hands it to you and you take it, but then you start to worry. âIsnât it weird if I wear it? Itâs something normally only girlfriends do.â Draco watches you put on his jacket regardless of your own argument and he shrugs. âIâm not really a labels kind of guy, but if you want to be my girlfriend, fine.â Your mouth drops a little. âThatâs not what I was saying.â Draco takes your hand and pulls you closer, placing his other hand on the small of your back. You blush as you're now pressed against him. You close your eyes and sigh. âWhy canât you just admit that you like me like a normal person.â Draco licks his lips and waits for you to look up at him, before speaking. âIâm in love with you, (y/n) (y/l/n). Wear my name, be my girl.â You feel stripped of all air as his honest words reach your heart and make it swell. âHappy now?â He whispers and you nod, cheeks burning with color.
âLove confessions arenât free.â He whispers before slowly leaning in. You smile and meet his lips for a soft kiss. âIâll wear your name and be your girl.â He stares at you and feels himself fall even more in love with you as you say those words. âGods, how can one person be so perfect?â He pulls you into a tight embrace, feeling like he needs to keep you close and safe with him. âCheer for me, will you?â Dracoâs soft whisper makes him sound almost vulnerable. You lock his lips with yours, kissing him passionately in an attempt to show him how much you love him. âIâll cheer for you like a crazy fangirl.â A bright smile forms on Dracoâs lips and he leans in to leave one more soft peck on your lips.
Enzo
You see Enzo approach and smile at him, but you also notice somethingâs different about him. âHello, fellas, howâs it going?â Lorenzo places his arms on Fred and Georgeâs shoulders. Fred and George look at each other and then to you. âI take it this is our cue.â Fred laughs and they both disappear out of Enzoâs arms. âDid I say something wrong?â He asks innocently, like his little dominant move wasnât obvious. You smile at him and softly shake your head. âYou came off a little jealous I guess.â You try to explain and Enzo shrugs. âIâm not, you can have friends.â You laugh and close the distance between you two.
âUhuh but youâll always be best friend, Enz.â Enzo groans. âYey me.â His words make you frown and he immediately feels embarrassed about his childlike behavior. âSorry, you didnât do anything wrong. Itâs just- I got my feelings all messed up after last night's kiss.â He had been crushing on you and at first he thought it was just a small thing that would pass, but it didnât. Terrified to ruin his friendship with you and lose what little he had with you, he buried his feelings. However, after last night all of those suppressed feelings were back in his head and heart, stronger than ever.
You feel your heart sink as he refers to the stupid drunk kiss that happened last night during a ridiculous party game. You had banished that memory to the back of your head, not allowing your feelings of love to ruin your friendship. âYou said it was just a silly kiss.â Enzo clenches his jaw. âI know what I said.â Youâre surprised by his harsh tone, this was a rare part of Enzo that almost never surfaced. You take a step closer to him and place your hands on his shoulder. âDonât tell me that some stupid kiss ruined our friendship?â Lorenzo sighs. âNo, I did that long before last night.â Your eyebrows knit together as you donât know what heâs talking about. Enzo shuts his eyes and presses his lips into a line before sighing. âIâve loved you since forever and⊠not being with you itâs eating me up (y/n). Please donât hate me for this, but if I canât have you, then I canât be your friend.â
Thereâs so much sadness in his voice it almost breaks your heart. When you donât immediately react Enzo moves away, but your hands on his shoulders wonât lead him and you pull him closer. âI know exactly what-â Enzo shakes his head. âNo, you donât.â You laugh. âYes! Yes, I do, Enzo Berkshire! Because Iâve been in love with you since forever!â It takes a moment for him to process, but when his eyes go wide you see his eyes light up again. The next moment his lips crash against yours for a long and intense kiss, while his arms wrap around you tightly, hugging you like only Enzo can. When he breaks the kiss his head still rests against yours. âCan I ask you for a silly little thing?â He whispers with playful eyes. You nod and Lorenzo lets go of you to take off his jacket. âWear this, for me. For good luck⊠and maybe also to make sure those Gryffindorâs know that youâre off the market.â
You turn around and Enzo helps you slip on his jacket. His body fills with pride as he sees you wear his name. âIâll wear it with pride.â You say and tug him by his shirt to demand another kiss. His hand holds your head, fingers entangled in your hair as his lips passionately move over yours. âIâm winning this game for you.â He whispers, before leaving to join his team.
Mattheo
You were too busy laughing at Mattheoâs expense to notice him walk over. With a foul smile and head held high he looks at the twins. âWhat are we laughing about?â His voice is calm, but heâs radiating fury. However, Fred canât resist fuelling him especially with the Gryffindor - Slytherin game starting in half an hour. âYou.â Fred says bluntly and Mattheo instantly steps in between you and the twins. Dark eyes focused on Fred. âWhatâs so funny about me?â Fredâs about to open his mouth when George decides to be the wiser one and slings his arm around his brother. âTime for one quick last round around the stadium, I think.â Coming to Georgeâs aid you place a hand on Mattheoâs biceps, urging him to turn away from Fred and face you.
âTheyâre absolute tossers.â Mattheo snaps at you when he finally turns away from Fred. You laugh at his frustration. âTheyâre funny, though.â Your little joke doesnât sit well with him. Part of him grew worried that maybe you had a thing for one of the twins. âAre you going to cheer them on or me?â He asks with an annoyed tone and piercing eyes, but as soon as he notices you take a step back he softens. He hated himself for getting so jealous and being so possessive of a girl that wasnât even his. Instinctively his hand reaches for your arm, softly brushing it as a gentle way of asking you to not move away from him. âI- I didnât mean to- I- I just thought they were flirting or something.â He chuckles, partly confessing he was jealous. He feels himself get flustered as you study him. You had never seen him behave like this, but he quickly regained his confident composure. âShall I fly you to your spot in the stands?â He offers in an attempt to distract you from his confession.
But youâre not letting him get away this easy. âSo what if they were flirting with me, Riddle? Is that a crime? Because last time I checked I was still single so-â Your teasing his cut short when Mattheo snorts, making you raise your eyebrows. He slightly clenches his jaw, cursing himself for not being able to control himself and allowing his arrogance to have the upper hand. âSo what⊠you want those guys to flirt with you?â His eyes focus on yours. âThey werenât flirting and if they were thereâs no reason for you to get all snappy about it.â You retort, crossing your arms. In his mind you were already his and he hated that you kept on reminding him that in reality you werenât his at all. When you notice his jaw clench, you roll your eyes and remind him once more of the one thing he canât stand hearing. âMatt, you donât need to worry about me, Iâm not your girlfriend.â
Okay, now you've done it. You notice a flicker in his eyes and then he quickly reaches for your arm, moving you behind the stands so youâre alone. âWha-?â He pushes you against the wooden wall of the stadium and cups your cheek. âYou should be my girlfriend.â His lips crash into yours forcefully and he pushes himself against you. It takes a moment, but you canât resist the intensity of his kiss and your hand sneaks up to his curls as you part your lips and kiss back. When he breaks the kiss he stays close to you and studies you while you press your lips into a line, realizing how quickly you kissed him back. You feel your cheeks heat up as you notice the smug smile appear on Mattheoâs lips. His fingers entangle with your hair as he leans in for another kiss, this time softer but still intense.
When he breaks the kiss, his eyes glimmer with pride and his smirk frustrates you. âI think you should wear this.â He says, taking a step back and taking off his jacket. âYou know, since youâre my girlfriend now.â You roll your eyes, but nevertheless turn around so he can wrap it around you. He pulls you with your back against his chest, strong arms wrapped around you, and traces your neck with sweet kisses. âCan I now fly you to the stands? I know your regular spot.â
Having you close against him as he flies around, making sure everyone has seen you with him while wearing his green jacket with his name on, was an unnecessary ego boost. He makes sure you land safely on your feet next to your friends. âDonât be too insufferable.â You warn him and a smug smile tugs on his lips. âCanât make any promises.â You go stand on your tiptoes. âIf you promise to behave, Iâll kiss you now that everyoneâs watching.â You swear you saw little lights in his eyes at your suggestion.
Bonus Regulus Black
Sirius seriously needed to keep his hands to himself, Regulus was fuming as he watched his brother brush a strand of hair out of your face. He had not been desperately trying to impress you for his idiot brother to swoop in and charm you with one decent gesture. âNot that you have any value to the Gryffindor team, but shouldnât you get ready for the game.â Regulus walks over to stand by your side with his broom still in hand, staring his brother down with disdain.
Sirius grins at his brotherâs obvious jealousy. âBe careful brother, your true colors are showing.â Regulus clenches his jaw and averts his eyes feeling a little caught, but thankfully his grinning fool of a brother leaves. When he looks over at you, youâre already smiling at him. âThat was a bit harsh of you. Nervous for the game?â You ask and heâs glad you offer him an excuse for his behavior. âYes, definitely the game. Though, Iâm confident weâre gonna put Gryffindor to shame.â A smug smirk tugs on his lips and you laugh at his confidence, but he immediately gets a little serious. âYou know, my brotherâs not a bad guy, but he can be a bit⊠uhm- invasive at times. So if heâs ever too much, let me know.â You smile and nod softly, not going to argue with a worried Regulus. âPromise?â Regulus watches you carefully, waiting for you to make the promise. You take a step closer to him and lock your eyes with his. âPromise.â
Just as he seems to be reassured enough to turn around and go back to his team, he notices a few guys glance over at you. He sighs and turns back around to you with a face filled with annoyance. Frustrated, he licks his lips as his eyes dart around. âWhy are you so tense?â You ask genuinely worried and you reach for arms, gently squeezing them to calm him. âYou really are too precious to leave unchaperoned.â He breathes and you laugh at his choice of words. He sighs, but then a genius idea pops up in his head. âHere, wear this.â He sets his broom aside for a moment and lets his slytherin training jacket slide off his shoulders. When he hands it to you look at it with confused eyes. âItâs rather chilly today.â Regulus explains, but feels himself heat up. Maybe his attempt to claim you and protect you from others was a bit too obvious. You tilt your head and stare at his blushing cheeks, but you refuse to take his jacket since youâre a bit annoyed with his inability to come clean about his feelings.
He notices that youâre being a bit difficult about it and sighs, getting a little flustered. âJust do me a favor and wear it.â You shake your head in amusement. âFine, if you'll do me a favor as well.â You reach for the jacket and he nods, feeling a bit more confident now that youâre complying. You slip the jacket on and enjoy the warmth of it and Regulusâ scent, before taking a step closer to him so thereâs no space left between you two. âKiss me.â You demand and his eyes widen, not believing that thatâs the favor youâre asking for. Clearly you had seen through his subtle flirting and obvious jealousy of the past months. No denying it now, time to step up. He leans in, simultaneously wrapping an arm around, and brushes your lips before kissing you tenderly. You rest your hands on his shoulders and allow him to pull you against him as he intensifies the kiss. Slowly you break the kiss, but your eyes still linger on his as you enjoy being in his arms. âBe careful up there.â You whisper and itâs then that Regulus realizes exactly how perfect of a girlfriend youâre going to be. He nods and moves away from you, unable to hide smile. He takes his broom and headds back towards his grinning teammates.

Them asking you to be their Valentine
The Slytherin Boys x reader (just in time for Valentineâs Day :))
Valentineâs Day at Hogwarts always comes with a lavish ball, so go ahead and choose the white knight of your liking to accompany you :)
Mattheo Riddle:
Mattheoâs way of asking you to be his Valentine for the ball was very straightforward, yet effective. The second after the announcement dropped, he went to find you in the schoolyard, and approached you in front of all your friends.
âHey, wait up!â, heâd shout to get your attention, already sounding determined.
âWhat do you say, you and me at the ball?â, he spoke out his confession, short and sweet.
Cheekily, he adds âI think you and I would be the best looking couple at the ballâ. You notice him shyly tucking his head down as he said that, but he still sounded self assured.
Everyone was patiently waiting for your reaction, and you noticed how all your friends started gushing over him. Mattheo seemed unfazed by everyone else and only had eyes for you.
Even though you had only talked to him a few times in the past, you noticed that there was this easy-going chemistry between you two.
His profession certainly came as a surprise, but you liked guys who were direct. Besides, he struck you as a bit of a player too, who seemed to be used to asking girls out.
âSure, Iâd love to go with youâ, you chuckle out, knowing youâd have a lot of fun with him.
He slickly throws you an air kiss, grinning from ear to ear, before all his friends start jumping on him to celebrate his win.
Tom Riddle (extremely delusional):
Tom definitely wasnât one for the romantics, in fact he was strictly against the idea of a Valentineâs Day ball.
What he told you, when you asked him if he had a date already was:
âThe ball is just an excuse for undisciplined students to commit shameful acts such as drinking alcohol and doing magical substances, when they should really be focusing on their education instead, which they are in desperate need ofâ
âI see, so you donât have a dateâ, you sum it up for him.
Truthfully, you only asked Tom that question because you started catching feelings for him, and you wanted to know if you had a clear shot.
But clearly, he wasnât interested at the moment.
He seemed to be carefully analyzing your reaction to his statement. Seconds later, he indifferently states âYou want me to ask you out, donât youâ
You, shocked at first, embarrassingly nod afterwards. Full of curiosity, you wondered how he had managed to read you so accurately.
âFine, to save myself from a week of listening to your heartbreak or potential soulmate, I am going to do you the favor of accompanying you to the ball. I am only doing this to save myself.â, he explains elaborately, which earns him an eye roll of yours.
You still wanted him to actually ask you and mean it, but for Tom Riddle, this was a big gesture already. Besides, you were aware from the beginning that you would have to deal with his peculiarities.
âOn the day, be ready at 8pm sharp, and donât you dare get drunk or highâ, he lays down his conditions. Even if he wouldnât say it, you knew that deep down he cared, otherwise he wouldâve never even indulged in this.
Theodore Nott:
Theodore had found himself in a bit of a slump. Due to the excessive quidditch training, he didnât have a date for the ball yet, which would be in 1 day exactly.
Subconsciously he fully believed that he'd find a date, no matter what time it was, which is why he took his sweet sweet time.
But now, with growing desperation, he ran around, asking out every girl he saw. And each time, the girl rejected him because they already had a date.
As he grew more and more frustrated, he asked you for the second time again, to be his date. You already told him that you had plans with a guy from Gryffindor, which he ridiculed.
âCome on, please ditch him for me?â, heâd repeatedly ask you with puppy eyes.
âPlease just do me this favor, I donât want to be the only guy in our friend group to not have a date.
Youâd tell him that it was his own fault, but eventually you felt a bit bad for him. And you were indeed good friends, so maybe you could do him a favor. It wasnât like the Gryffindor boy and you were in love. Surely heâd get over itâŠ
âFine, Iâll go, but you owe meâ, you finally agreed. Truthfully, you found Theo much more attractive and charming anyway.
You had only agreed to the Gryffindor boy in the first place because you were afraid that no one besides him would ask you out anymore if you said no.
Theo, full of excitement and relief, cupped your face and kissed your forehead as a thanks when you agreed to be his date.
âI promise you, you wonât regret itâ, were his last words before leaving you alone.
Blaise Zabini:
You only had one more tedious potions class of Snape's to go through, before you could finally enjoy the rest of your day.
As the clock ticked, you stared down on your blank parchment paper, counting the minutes to go.
Catching you off guard, you feel Blaiseâs finger lightly tapping your arm. You needed a second to get conscious of the situation because you had zoned out.
He slides a small, blank piece of parchment paper towards you and points his head down, signaling you to turn it around.
When you do, your mood immediately lifts and you begin blushing. It was kind of childish, like something youâd do in year 1 or 2, but it was also cute.
The paper was filled with the classic âwill you be my Valentineâ, and there were three boxes to cross. The three being âyesâ, ânoâ, and âmaybeâ.
Blaise observes your reaction delightfully, waiting for you to tick a box. As this was the highlight of your day, you decide to give the guy a chance and tick âyesâ.
When class ended, Blaise waited for you to pack up and proposed a hang out at astronomy tower with you, which you agreed to with pleasure.
Enzo Berkshire:
It was a Sunday, exactly one week before the ball, and all the Hogwarts students were enjoying their time in Hogsmeade.
On this peculiar day, your seating partner Enzo from Transfiguration asked you to go to Madam Puddifoot's Café with him. The location was definitely romantic, and you already suspected where this might be going.
Butâyou didnât want to get your hopes too high yet. Enzo was unquestionably a cute guy though.
During your coffee date, he didnât drop any hints or said anything suggestive. You just talked, gossiped, and joked around, and you figured heâd be cool as a friend too.
Though nearing the end, the waiter came to your table with a small buttercream cake.
You shot a confused glance at Enzo, and he seemed clueless.
âI donât believe we ordered thatâ, you tell the waiter, but he insists and puts the cake in front of you. After the waiter leaves, you keep eye contact with Enzo, but he tells you to eat the cake.
Still dazzled, you comply and look down, seeing thatâŠ
âWill you be my Valentineâ, was written on the cake in cursive font with pink buttercream. Overcome by joy, you couldnât be happier that your suspicions from the beginning were right.
âSo whatâs your answerâ, he asks eagerly, eyes sparkling with excitement.
âOf course I will, this was so sweetâ
You believed that no girl couldâve said no to this.
Draco Malfoy:
You and Draco never slacked off on your prefect duties, which also included the nightly walks around school, to ensure that every student has gone to bed.
It is the perfect time to talk after a long day, and to exercise your power of course, but mainly the walks had brought you two very close, and you exchanged plenty of secrets already.
Although he could be a bit of an asshole, which you also told him, you still saw that he had a caring, more hurt side to him.
A week before the ball, he suggested a different route than the one you usually took.
He told you to close your eyes as you were walking, and led you by your hand. Innerly, he was as nervous and jittery as one could get, and couldnât wait to see the reaction on your face.
When you got to the mysterious destination, he told you to open your eyes
As soon as you opened them, you saw the room of requirements, decorated with pink and red flowers, hundreds of candles, and a banner reading âwill you be my valentineâ.
It had been Dracoâs plan for weeks, and he was so glad that he pulled it off.
He also made sure that you wouldnât get a date, before he asked you out, which included cursing guys who got close to you.
âOh my, yes of course Draco, I canât believe you did thisâ, youâd say full of joy.
âYou just made me the happiest guy in this schoolâ, heâd reply and you knew it was true.
Immediately he brings you closer to kiss you, and you spend the rest of the night cuddling inside the room of requirements (insert the scene of Dean and Rory cuddling in GG if yk what I mean).

Prettiest girl at Hogwarts
Pairings: Remus Lupin x reader (they are already together)
Summary: Remus is answering some of the first years questions and one of them asks who is the prettiest girl at Hogwarts.
Notes: This is my first story, I probably wonât upload again for like along time, I only wrote this because I had this idea in my head. And I really wanted to read it! So I wrote it, and maybe someone else will enjoy it? Iâm not experienced in this at all but if you guys like this, maybe Iâll right more? Probably not but anyway⊠enjoy!
*Also I am okay with my work being published elsewhere AS LONG AS I am credited/mentioned in it, thanks!*
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
Remus Lupin is a prefect, and this year he was going to lead the first years. Once the sorting ceremony was over, he quickly ushered the 11 year olds over towards him.
The first years always had a lot of questions, always spitting them out whenever one occupies there mind. And remus got used to that quickly as he was answering questions the entire walk to the common room. Once they arrived, remus turned around to finish up the talk.
James, Sirius and Peter had already rushed off somewhere, most likely the kitchens, and will probably meet him back at their dorm. It was already late when they walked in but most students havenât returned to their own dorms yet, spending a little time in the common room before they head to sleep. Y/n was sitting next to Lily, listening as she blabbered on about her holiday to Europe.
âBoys dorms are up the stairs to your left,â Remus gestured with his left arm, âgirls, same on your right. Now are there any other questions before I send you all off.â
âWhat year are you in?â One of the boys asked him, swaying back and forth on the balls of his feet.
Remus gently smiled at the boy, running one hand through his fluffy hair â6th yearâ.
âIs it true that Sir Nicholas the ghost can take off most of his head?â Asked an excited girl, beaming slightly.
He chuckled slightly, nodding his head. âThat is true but itâs not a very pleasant sight.â
âWhoâs the prettiest girl at Hogwarts?â Questioned a little, blonde girl as her friend giggles slightly.
Remus shook his head with a little laugh, tilting his head slightly to the side to glance at Y/n.
âYou see that girl over there?â He pointed to her and watched as the first years nod excitedly. âI think sheâs very beautiful, the prettiest girl at Hogwarts.â
The 11 year olds giggled as they looked at the pretty girl and the two girls who asked the question jumped up and down clapping.
âWhatâs her name! Whatâs her name?â They asked as Remus placed both his hands on his hips with a smirk.
âY/nâ he answered.
The two girls were quick to rush over towards Y/n causing Remusâ eyes widen a bit before he just shook his head with a dorky smile.
âUm, excuse meâ one of the girls tapped Y/n on the shoulder. She turned around to smile at the young girl. âYouâre Y/n right?â
âThatâs me.â Y/n smiled, turning her head to glance at Lily. Lily just shrugged and they both retuned their gazes to the two younger ones.
âThat boy over there called you pretty!â The young girl with blonde hair giggled, pointing at Remus.
âHe said you were the prettiest girl at Hogwarts!â The other one stated.
Y/n smirked, glancing quickly at her boyfriend Remus, watching him just shrug and smile in reply.
âWell thatâs very kind of him,â She told the two girls, winking at them.
âDo you think heâs the prettiest boy at Hogwarts?â The blonde asked back quickly.
Y/n could feel her heart flutter slightly, as she nodded her head. âOh definitely, heâs the prettiest boy Iâve ever seen.â
The girls quickly jumped and waved their goodbye before returning to the group of first years, explaining to them what they just heard. As Remus listened, he couldnât help but lightly chuckle as his cheeks turned a slight pink colour.
âŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠâŠ
âWhat was all that about?â Y/n smiled as she rested on Remusâ bed, waiting for him to join her.
He just shook his head with a smirk, âthey asked me a question and I answered it.â
Y/n blushed as Remus walked over to her, laying down and pulling her into his arms, hugging tightly.
âI love you,â Y/n said, her head dropped on his chest.
âI love you so much moreâ Remus replied.

can i request a mattheo drabble(?) fluff with line 28? (âI genuinely dont know why my brain goes blank when i look at you. i tuinl im going a little crazyâ)
-đŠ
(iâve never done a request like this so sorry of its weirdđ)
Itâs not weird at all! You did a perfect job lol
You had been at it for over two hours. You donât know why you agreed to it in the first place. Well, actually, you do. Pansy promised that sheâd pay for everything on your next Hogsmead trip and after today you were going to hold her to it.
Tutoring Mattheo proved to be more difficult than originally anticipated. You werenât even sure why he needed tutoring. He was genuinely one of the smartest in your year next to Hermione and Draco.
But pansy insisted that he was struggling in divination and needed someoneâs help and since you were the best at divination in your year (as Pansy worded it anyway) she said it would be perfect for you to help him.
You held up the tea cup again and pushed the book closer to Mattheo. He glanced inside the cup and looked down at his notes, âOh okay, yeah so what we have there is, erm, uhâŠâ
When he glanced up from the book to give you his explanation itâs like all thoughts went out the window. You huffed out a sigh and set the tea cup down on the table.
âCâmon, Mattheo, you just had it. I know you know this one, weâve went over it like three or four times.â
A goofy half smile lifted on his lips, âIâm sorry, love. I genuinely donât know why my brain goes blank when I look at you. I think Iâm going a little crazy.â
Your cheeks instantly flushed, tinging a dark shade of pink, âOh, erm, t-thatâs okay. Letâs just look at it one more time, yeah?â
You leaned a little closer to Mattheo to point at the proper section of the book. You expected him to lean away, but he didnât move, causing your shoulders to be pushed up against each other.
âSo right here, it says-â
âI donât need tutoring in divination,â Mattheoâs breath was hot against your neck with his confession. You sat up straight again, a clear look of confusion on your face.
He took a deep breath, âI actually have the second highest marks in divination behind you. I asked Pansy to convince you to tutor me so I could spend time with you.â
Your mouth formed a small âoâ shape at his confession. âWhy didnât you just ask me to hang out?â Your question was genuine and simple. Mattheo was in your friend group, youâve hung out in a group plenty of times before.
Mattheo shrugged his shoulders, âDunno, I justâŠIâm fine when itâs all of us together but, Merlin, darling you saw me just now, when itâs just me and you itâs like I can barely form a coherent sentence.â
âYou seem to be doing a pretty good job right now,â you smirked at him.
âCheeky,â he smiled, wagging a finger at you. âGo to Hogsmead with me this weekend.â
You quirked an eyebrow, âIs that a statement or a question?â
âWhichever one will get you to say yes,â he responded.
You nodded your head, âIâll go with you. But you should know that Pansy promised me sheâd pay for my whole trip the next time I went. Are you going to hold up the same deal?â
Mattheo smiled so hard his dimples popped out, âOh, Princess. You wonât have to pay for anything, carry anything, Iâll be a true gentleman.â
You closed the divination book before placing it back in your bag, âPerfect, I canât wait then.â You leaned over, giving him a quick kiss to his cheek before standing and walking away, leaving Mattheo once again at a loss for words.

Hi, I saw that requests are open, so could I request a Lorenzo Berkshire X hufflepuff!Reader, where the two are in a relationship, and Reader is very much a sunshine/sweet/kind girl (very hufflepuff vibes). At first their relationship looks from outside like a very Sunshine x Sunshine/ Innocent x Innocent one, but one day some guy flirts with Reader, making her very uncomfortable, and Enzo shows up, his possessive/protective instincts kicking in, puts the guy in his place (maybe exaggerating a bit) and everyone is super surprised because he basically almost never fights, and Reader is at first very taken aback but still offers to clean his minor injuries up, and Enzo starts overthinking that maybe he scared her or worse, but they talk about it and in the end she reassures him that she just doesn't like to see him hurt and she got worried about him, but definitely not scared. So a very angst to comfort fluff thingâșïž because I really like the trope "seems sweet but is actually dangerous" and "seems sweet and is actually sweet" togetherđ„° Thank you!!â„ïž
SPARK OF JEALOUSY â Harry potter
PAIRINGS: lorenzo berkshire x hufflepuff!reader
SUMMARY: something inside enzo sparks when he sees McClaggen flirting with his girl. He canât help but act before he thinks, whatever it takes to save his girl.

âLook whoâs talking to your girl.â Mattheo laughed as he pointed you out to Enzo. His gaze turned towards you, envy filled his veins as he watched Cormac flirt with you across the hall.
You were clutching onto your books as the intimidating man flirted with you, âSo, whatâs a pretty girl like you walking to class by herself for?â He said as he leaned against the wall, almost pinning you against the stone.
You shuddered as you felt his warm breath on your cheek, he was entirely too close for comfort.
âUmâŠâ you began before he was ripped away from you, his back hitting the wall beside you. Thats when you saw your boyfriend, Lorenzo, pinning him to the wall with an angry look on his face.
âWhat do you think youâre doing chirpsing my girl?â He asked, taking him by the collar.
âMaybe your girlâŠshouldnât be wearing such a short skirt if she doesnât want guys coming up to her?â He laughed in Enzoâs face.
You uncomfortably pulled down your skirt, this morning you couldnât find your tights so your legs were bare, you didnât think it was that much of a problem.
Enzoâs fist collided into Cormacâs jaw, a loud cracking sound following after. You gasped as he threw another punch his way before Cormac hit him back straight in the nose. Enzo quickly clapped back with another punch to his face, pinning him to the wall.
âDonât you ever. Talk to my girl. Ever. Again.â He said.
Professor mcgonagall swiftly made her way to the scene, breaking up the two boys. She sent Enzo your way before escorting Cormac to her office.
âAre you alright?â Your eyebrows furrowed as you took his bruised face into your hands. âI am fine, sweetheart. Are you?â He asked as he pressed his hand over yours.
You huffed, giving him an âare you seriousâ look. You took his hand and began to lead him to the prefects lavatory, as you were one yourself. You bursted into the bathroom and pushed him against the sink.
You turned on the water and rushed to grab some paper towels, wetting them and ringing them out. His gaze followed you as you moved around the bathroom.
He wondered if he had did the right thing by hurting Cormac, his emotions had gotten the best of him. He had just wanted to protect you. He winced as you pressed the wet towel onto his nose, cleaning off the blood.
âAre you upset with me? Did I scare you?â He asked with a saddened expression. You sighed, âNo, my love. I justâŠdonât like seeing you get hurt and fight because of me.â
âI didnât like seeing him flirt with you and touch you.â His words made you smile, âI know, it just shocked me. Iâve never seen you like that.â You said as you dabbed the towel on his skin.
âIâm sorry..â he apologized as he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer to him. You smiled, you pressed a soft kiss on his jaw.
âDonât be. You were just protecting me. Itâs like youâre my very own Prince Charming.â You giggled, his face lit up before he pressed a thousand kisses all over your face before pressing a kiss on your soft lips, making you both forget about all your troubles.

Astronomy Tower was a popular place to meet up even after curfew. Many see it as a romantic spot and meet up there to stargaze with their partner on a Friday night. Tonight however the sky was covered in clouds and there were no stars in sight. That's why a group of familiar boys hung out there. With this weather, nobody is surprised to see them smoking there. Nobody would also question the bubbling cauldron in the corner. Well, nobody should.
Light steps could be heard on the metal staircase, only catching the attention of two boys of the group. From the stairs, a familiar girl appears not noticing the boys yet as she plays with the note in her hand. At this time of day, she no longer wore her school-issued uniform. Her all-black outfit is broken up by the yellow ribbon in her hair. A look of confusion appears on her face as she notices the boys hanging out.
â Group date?â She teases and walks to them, her arms falling alongside her body. A mocking â hahaâ is heard from Mattheo from the other side. The girl cannot tell if it's the mist or just an excessive amount of cigarette smoke that makes the air so stuffy. She makes her way over to the railing and leans her back on it, facing the group.
â As if, I would have taken myself on something way more romantic. Trying to make moonshine is not my idea of a date, sunshine.â Announces Draco, who is in charge of stirring said moonshine at the moment. Chuckles from his friends can be heard.
âPlease, all you could manage is a box of candy and half-dead flowers.â Argues Blaise not even looking up from the oranges he's been cutting and dropping them in the cauldron.
â Excuse me?â Draco whips his head to him.
âYou are excused.â Blaise simply says. A string of words leaves Draco's mouth about how his friend is in the wrong and he should see what amazing dates he can take him on. The girl decides to tune those two out as their conversation seems way too personal to listen in. Her attention turns to two smoking boys standing next to her.Â
â Why, wanna join us?â Asks her Matteo, cocking his eyebrow. Shaking her head in disagreement, deciding sheâs very much against that idea.
â Why not? Who can say they have 5Â boyfriends.â Argues Theo, cigarette loosely hanging from the corner of his mouth.Â
âI hardly want to date a single individual, let alone all of you. It might be better for me to date a dementor.â She says. A fake offended gasp can be heard from the two. At the same time, Lorenzo approaches the three. He stands next to his friend and crosses his arms.
âNone of us, hmm?â He says in a teasing tone. the girl just rolls her eyes and pushes herself off the railing. Turning to face the outside part. A laugh can be heard from them before Lorenzo speaks up again.
âYou want me so bad.â
âWhat makes you say that?â
âThe voices in my head are telling me.â He just shrugs and moves on to check on the moonshine. â Unbelibelve â leaves the girl quietly. Interested in the moonshine she follows him and sits down next to Draco.
â What are you even doing here?â he asks giving up on the stirring and just charming the spatula. She raises the note in her hand to view. Before gloomily setting it on her lap. A noise of understanding leaves him before turning to Lorenzo for a conversation. The two other boys join the group and also it down.
âIs that one for us?â Theodor points out the note. She just shook her head but went to check her watch. Seeing the time she frowns and turns her gaze to the stairs, as if waiting for something. Before turning back to the group with a sigh.
âOh god, are you here waiting for someone??â A shocked tone leaves Lorenzo as a horrified expression forms on his face. His friends are quick to follow with the same. Lastly, the girl forms a shocked face as well.
âWhat?? NO!â She yelps in a hurry and waves her hands in front of her. â Why would you think that???â
âYou're all gloomy! and no one comes here other than to meet up with their date! OH MY GOD, YOU GOT STOOD UP!â His hands fly to cover his mouth. The girl sits there in disbelief, her chin almost on the floor from Lorenzo's âamazingâ detective skills. A hand gently closes her mouth. She watches them all panic, unaware of what to do in a situation like this. Few not-so-comforting words are thrown in her direction.
âI'm not the one who's getting stood up! Technically.â She says making all of them come to a stop.
âWhat?â She lifted the note that was sitting on her lap. All eyes are on it.
â The person who gave me this note is getting stood up.â Was all it took for cheers and sighs of reveal to be heard among the group. The note is snitched from her hand by Blaise as he opens it to read it. She chases it but unsuccessfully. After a few moments a confused look forms on his face.
â This is a breakup note.â He just says a passes the note to Lorenzo next to him. The girls just nod.
âI was supposed to give it to the person, but he never showed up.â She explains. â So I guess the feelings are mutual.â Silence falls upon them as the note makes her way to the girl. She sets it down in one of the many nooks on the wall.
âThis is why you're so gloomy? Because someone else broke up? Girl, you had me worried.â Says Lorenzo and crawls to the girl. Inevitably, traps her in a makeshift hug as he lays on top of her. â Mate, you heavy.â leaves her but is muffled. The group returns to their usual chatter and ignores the two. After some time the girl manages to push her friend off her and to the side, where he now fake sobbed from a broken heart. Sitting up, she gets passed a cup of presumably finished moonshine.
She gives that one to her friend and takes the next one, giving it a proper smell. The boys around her, seemingly not worried about the safety of the cauldron made moonshine all chug it down in one motion. She takes a sip and immediately retracts from the cup. Her face twists in disgust. Setting the cup down, determined to never touch it again, she watches as her friends celebrate the bach. Conjuring up some snacks and filling their cups with another round of the disgusting liquid. Making a mental note, not to ever deliver the Slytherin moonshine as it could be a safety hazard.
The night went on as no other student dared to show up at the astronomy tower after hearing the group from the bottom of the stairs. Any deliveries forgot in a second. None of them seem to notice the wind picking up, the note breakup note now gone. Later that night, when everything calms down. A soft chatter of the group can be heard. The girl gets a tap on her shoulder. Turning to her friend who motions for her to lean in.
âYa know,â whispers Lorenzo, âIf you made that all up, I understand. And, I heard I can be a great reboundâŠâ The girl gets up from her spot, makes her way to the railing, and starts climbing over it. The only thing that stops her from jumping is male hands that pull her back to the group and laughter from the other boys.

You couldn't help but let a sigh escape from your lips as you heard the sound of knocking on your door. Truthfully, if you could have it your way, you would be content with not seeing another human being for the rest of the day.
"Can you come back later? I'm trying to sleep." You called out from your bed, pulling your blankets over your head to block out the knocking. Sleep was far from your mind, you only wished to be alone with your sorrow.
The knocking ceased. Just as you thought whoever it was had walked away, you heard the door creak open anyway. It was probably one of your roommates, you hoped they would leave soon enough.Â
You felt someone lift up the blankets slightly and lay down next to you in the bed. Turning your head slightly, you saw it was Draco Malfoy. Your heart skipped a beat when you saw him, but the pain in his eyes saddened you further.
"We both know you're not going to sleep yet, (Y/N)." Draco spoke softly, one of his arms wrapping itself around your shoulders. "Now, please tell me what happened out there."
The last thing you wanted to do was talk about that, but you knew your boyfriend deserved some sort of explanation for your sudden behavior.Â
The last Saturday of May was always spent with Draco and his group of friends. It was tradition at this point to spend the whole day at the Black Lake, swimming and getting into all sorts of mischief. However, this year was slightly different. Draco Malfoy had finally asked you to be his girlfriend a few months prior.
While it seemed as if everyone else in the group was ecstatic, Pansy Parkinson was not. You had known for a long time that she had developed a crush on Draco, and wasn't too pleased when Draco had turned her down. Ever since, the tension between the girl who used to be your best friend and yourself has been difficult for you to manage.Â
Pansy had finally snapped at the Black Lake and told you how she had felt. While you were watching the Slytherin boys play some sort of game near the water, Pansy sat next to you. The conversation started off pleasant, but it quickly turned brutal.
It started off with Pansy complimenting your navy blue bikini, but in the same breath, she mentioned that "it's brave of you to wear something that revealing, considering your marks and all." Her hands touched the stretch marks on your stomach and thighs, giving them a pinch. You felt your breath become trapped in your throat, she knew they were your biggest insecurity.Â
Before you could even think, you found yourself running away from the lake, not even noticing Draco was following your footsteps.Â
As you told this story to him, you could see him clench his jaw in anger. "That bitch. Does she not realize what she did was cruel? I'm going to have a talk with her tomorrow, and if she continues, let me know. I will fix this, she canât talk to you like this and get away with it."
"Draco, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to run off like that. Just give me a minute, I'll come back-" Before you could finish the offer, you felt his lips press softly against yours. He pulled away all too soon, resting his forehead on yours.Â
"Oh hush, darling. They'll be alright without us, we're staying right here." To further his point, he pulled you into his arms. There was no other place you would rather be trapped. Only then did you realize he was still in his swim trunks, with no shirt. "I need to make sure that you know you are beautiful."
"I-I'm not." It came out as a quiet, defeated whisper as you felt the sobs begin again. Your insecurities were something you never shared with your boyfriend before, you didn't want to burden him any further.Â
"Oh.." Draco slightly panicked, not sure exactly what to do. He had never seen you cry before. "No, no. Please don't say that. Pansy couldn't have been more wrong, you look like an angel. Why would you think any different?"
It was hard to speak, between your cries and your voice being muffled from Draco pulling you closer to him. He wiped away each tear that fell, listening intently as you spoke.Â
"Because of what she said. I mean, she was right. I have stretch marks all over me, and the bikini only just shows them even more. I don't know what I was thinking! They make me so ugly and it's embarrassing, when no other girl there had them."
One of his hands moved your chin upwards, forcing your eyes to meet his gray ones. "Stop it right there, (Y/N). You are not ugly, and who cares about some marks? You are absolutely perfect in my eyes."
He must have been able to tell that a part of you didn't believe him. You knew he loved you and would never lie to you, he truly did think you were beautiful. But you couldn't bring yourself to think of yourself in that way.
You felt him shift next to you as he sat up, moving the blankets away so he could see you fully. You were still in that cursed bikini, biting your lip as you realized he could now see you in broad daylight. "Draco, what are you doing?"
"Well if you won't believe my words, maybe you'll believe my actions." A small smile spread on his face as his hands gently found themselves roaming down your body, his eyes soaking in every piece of exposed skin he could. You were about to protest to explain that you weren't in the mood for anything his mind might come up with.
"Before you ask, no, I'm not trying to initiate anything else. Would it be okay if I touched your stomach?" It was as if he could read your mind. You were terrified that if Draco touched your stomach and felt the marks that had invaded your skin, he would become disgusted. But at the same time, his touch was comforting. It was something you knew could calm you down.Â
With a nod, he grinned and lowered himself down until his eyes were level with your stomach. His fingertips gently caressed down until they reached your lower abdomen. "Merlin, you're beautiful. You belong in a museum of art, my love."
His words made you blush bright red, as your hands covered your face to hide this fact. "Hardly." That was all you could manage to choke out between your embarrassment and the sobs that still begged to break free from your chest.
"Please, look at me." You obeyed, placing your hands at your side once more and looking down to look at Draco. "I'm not kidding around, you are stunning. If anything, these marks make you even more so."
You felt his fingertips gently graze upon each stretch mark, your breath hitching as he did so. His lips replaced them in an instant, as he kissed each mark he could find. Eventually, the path of marks led him to pulling down your bikini bottom very slightly to only kiss the ones on your hips.Â
You knew he could feel every slight bump on his lips, the thought of it filled you with shame. His kisses were feather-like, it was as if he was afraid that if he kissed your skin too hard, you would break underneath him. But as you looked at him, he didn't seem to mind.
If anything, Draco Malfoy seemed to adore it. He kept his eyes mostly on yours, but occasionally, he would look down at the stretch marks before him. His kisses were slow, as if he was trying to take his time in memorizing every curve of each mark. His hands gently rubbed the curves of your waist, smiling to himself as he felt your body relax at his touch.
Once he was finally done kissing each mark he could find, you couldn't help but smile at the look of achievement on his face. His eyes seemed to have a glimmer to them, as if he had just won a prize.
"Actually, I take back my statement from before. You're not just something to be put in a museum for people to look at, until they get bored and move along. You deserve something much more permanent, like a sculpture to last the ages."
"What?" A look of confusion spread across your face. What was Malfoy going on about, comparing you to pieces that belonged in some sort of art collection?
"What I mean is," a soft laugh came from Draco's lips as he laid down next to you again, his fingers caressing your jawline this time around. "You should be worshiped, darling. Please never repeat the words you said earlier. Those marks are breathtaking, I could spend eternity kissing them.â
You could feel the tears form in the corner of your eyes, but from joy instead of sorrow. Draco was puzzled, worried that his words may have hurt you unintentionally. You learned your head into the crook of his neck, feeling his hands caress your back.Â
âI thought you would hate them, you know?â You managed to whisper into his shirt. He responded by shushing you, his fingertips finding their way through your hair.
âI could never, (Y/N). Iâve never seen anything, or anyone, more beautiful.â
