More than ten years ago, my mom in Japan found a small lump under her armpit. She was very lucky to have caught it before it became malignant – but the cyst was wrapped around the artery and what was supposed to be a simple ‘in and out’ pro...
cedure became a 6 hr surgery. We actually had to sign her arm away at one point because there was a possibility that the blood will now flow back into her arm. But the surgery was successful and she was able to keep her arm! She can no longer play tennis – which she enjoyed since she was in college, but she is very happy to be able to drive, brush her teeth and even hold chopsticks! She said what got her through the treatment and rehab was the support from the friends she made in the hospital – all fighting cancer - they were there for each other every step of the way. So I purchased and dedicated Little Luxuries’ beautiful Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet in my mom’s name. She was very touched by the idea of sharing this beautiful bracelet with a cancer survivor and proudly wears her bracelet in Japan, sharing the story with everyone that there is another survivor that wears the same bracelet - all the way across the sea! I wear the bracelet too! In honor of the bravest, kindest and the most beautiful woman in my world - My Mom!! Thank you Little Luxuries for the truly beautiful bracelets!! And yes, B'H! Life is Good :)

Let's Save the Ta-Ta's is a team of amazing women who will walk 60 miles in 3 days to raise money and awareness for breast cancer fighters and survivors.
