25 Days Of Agere Moodboards.

Day 4: The Perfect Agere day

Occasionally on a Saturday my and my CG have a day where we do "Little Activties". It's a day fully dedicated to me, age regressing. Our favorite activities are getting a new friend, going to a park (we go when there are no actual children since the park in the neighborhood isn't popular), feeding the geese at the pond nearby, watching a Disney movie, face masks, and painting together.

Also the geese in my neighborhood are friendly to us. They eat out of my hand and let their chicks walk onto my lap. It took years of building trust with them, and now I've named some of them. My favorite is Larry, he's missing a foot and likes ro sit in my lap, but doesn't like pets.

Oh, how I miss frolicking. I miss laying in grass. I miss chasing butterflies. I miss catching lizards. I miss dancing in the rain. I miss skinning my knee. I miss hop scotch. I miss jump rope. I miss picking flowers and making crowns. I miss using grass as a whistle. I miss climbing trees. I miss tire swings. I miss skipping rocks. I miss jumping in puddles. I miss playing with the water hose. I miss the way the world looks, smelled and sounded like as a child.

I wish I never grew up. I wish it never learned about the evils of the world, and worse, experienced them. I wish I could still run forever, or hop off of something and my knee wouldn't ache from my injury. I wish I could lay in the grass and not flinch at the idea of a bug. I wish I was small enough to hide in little nooks and cranies. I wish i could climb up into trees and not mind the scrape of the bark and my arms wouldn't scream from exhaustion. I wish I could regain that wonder and mystery of the world where nothing is scary or painful beyond a bruise or scratch.

They told me that growing up wasn't as great as it seemed.

They didn't tell me how much it hurts though.

Days 3: Favorite Childhood Book

I decided to use two that go hand in hand. Shel Silverstein poetry is a big deal for me. I feel in love with reading the first time i read A Light in the Attic and consumed it at lightening speed. Same thing when I read Falling Up. The goofy illustrations and silly poems drew me and and helped develop my love for writing as well.

Days 2: My BFF

Fred is my most special Stuffie. My CG bought him for me when I saw him on the shelf while grocery shopping. His eyes aren't in line with one another. His ears were stitched wrong. His legs are different lengths and the stitching along his back is super obvious. I knew if I left him, everyone would pick the better looking bears and the idea that no one would buy him and he'd be thrown away made me sad. Now, lots of my stuffed have defects of some sort because I believe in no friend left behind.
