Idk, because the sequel had so many ugly points. Like, I hate retcon in shows and movies and some storylines were definitely useless...

But the immortal gays were top tier and valid

Soft gays who also love cars and are bros but also lovers sounds pretty refreshing to me. TOG1 doesn't get cancelled all of a sudden after TOG2 cause that's what sequels are for: for exploring new layers and add more complexity and dimension to (already complex) characters. Also, a man sleeping with the same other man for 1000 years isn't homosexual enough these days cause queerness is just ✨stereotypes✨ apparently

Since we're all still in denial over 1899 can I convince you guys to watch this 8 episode series on Sky called "Hausen" which went completely unnoticed in 2020 but which is a wild ride from start to finish? Featuring a creepy apartment building with time traveling ovens (?), walls that eat babies, crazy supernatural German drug dealers, a protagonist who might or might not be teenage gay Jesus, ghosts (maybe), young Alexander from DARK, people named "Shard" and "Cat" and "Ninja" (no, I'm not making this up) and an ending that will make you go "Excuse me but WHAT THE FUCK?"

I need some people in Hausen hell with me.
