ive got a narrorator trope I'd like to hear what you think about on

Hear me out, and idkifillexplainthosproperlybut: a narrorator that speaks in third person untill the climax of the story, then it switches to first for the rest of the story. Why? Because the narrorator is the main character! The main character is retelling their story about how they got in a situation and they're trying to figure out a way to get out of it (I'm thinking stuck somewhere. Like a cave. Somewhere to actually realistically give them time to think and remember everything that happened in their story.) They're telling the story to no one, or that's what it seems since they're alone. They start to talk to themselves (the author could make them have a habit of talking to themsleves). The author could throw in little hints in the story in some way to show that the main character is the narrorator and not some random voice in your head. Not sure how they would, but in sure they'll figure something out for the character they're writing! Whenever the main character goes into first person, is when the story turns around, whether hat be for better or worse. Again that's the authors choice. Along with the plot-
