While lalna was certainly glad that Lomadia had decided to let loose, there was something decidedly a little off about her.

"Hey, I’m glad! Glad you’re enjoying yourself and glad he asked you."

His expression changed as he turned his attention to the drink in her hand.

"Is that the punch? I wouldn’t. er. I saw the Hats pour a whole bottle of some kinda booze in that."

he laughed, lifting his own glass to his lips “Unless you’re planning on getting smashed, in which case, count me in”

"You look good in formal wear"

"Oh thank you, Lalna. You’re a sight yourself," Lomadia teased, lightly nudging his pink suit. She herself had put her hair into a braided into bun, her dress a midnight blue that flowed down to her ankles. Her pearl drop earrings were weighing her ears down a bit, but she didn’t mind. After all, this was the last time anyone  was going to see her dressed up like this, so she decided to go all out. 

"Did you bring a date?" She asked curiously, rubbing at the diamond bracelet on her wrist.

"Yeah, well" Lalna laughed, sheepishly running a hand through his hair, and messing up the perfect slicked back look he'd managed to get it in.

"They're dancing with each other actually." He nodded in the direction of the two of them twirling off across the floor, a fond smile on his face.

"You have a date, or did'ya get all fancied up just for yourself?"

"Nano and rythian. I didn't think they'd go for it, honestly. I'm glad they did, though."

Lalna kind of shrugged. this was going well.

"There's a bit of a. Thing. um. How weird would it be for you if I took Ryth too. Like. All three of us?"

He gave her a pleading look, but was quick to add, "Though if that's not cool I can totally just forget the whole thing..."

it was pretty clear that that was the last thing he wanted to do. 

Lalna laughed a little nervously.

"Actually that’s kind of what I wanted to talk to you about. Do you have a date yet?”

he reached over to ruffle her hair with a laugh. A poor attempt to cover his nerves.

"So um. Prom is tonight, huh?"
