[Lalna takes a deep breath, grinding his teeth together before speaking again.]

[Lalna slumps back onto his bed, covering his face with his arm.]

Who died and put you in charge, Xephos? You're not my drill sergeant or my mother! Hell, we aren't even friends anymore, remember?

[groaning, he backs off, biting down on his fist to hold down some of his anger as he mumbles ] Fine, I’m sorry… [He turns his back on the two, running his fingers stressfully through his hair.]

[He floats into Lalna’s room, examining the exhausted man before him.]

[Lalna lifts his face from his pillow, watches Ridge break the glass, and flops back into it. It hurts, but he's not really assed to care. When he speaks, it's muffled by the pillow.]

Get it over with so I can go to bed.

[He floats up to one of the dark windows of Lalna’s house, cold night air burning against his shirtless chest. Inhaling deeply, he clenches his fist and pulls back sharply, flinging it forward and shattering the glass.] Rise and shine, science-boy.
