Its that time again

Getting close yo my brithday, cant help but wonder what catrastrophy will occur this year.

I've learned to never say, well things couldn't get any worse. Because in my experience they can, and they will. Also my birthday is cursed.

2017 was the year I lost my boyfriend and bestfriend, yes on my birthday/the day after. I told myself, and others that it couldn't get any worse. And I honestly didnt think it could, but it did. At about 11pm Sept 4th my grandma called to wish me a happy birthday. My phone was charging and I missed the call so I called her back a little after midnite. We talked for over an hour about the weather, which had been ridiculous lately. She asked if I felt any older, and I told her I did. She apologized because she hadn't gotten me a card yet, 8 told her not to worry about it. I filled her in on only good news, figured I'd fill her in on everything else later in the week. I told her about how I had been late to work the wee men before because due to rain my bus just never came. I asked her how she'd been feeling and she told me she was feeling good, she had a busy day running errands. We made plans for me to come over that Friday, said I love yours and hung up. She was the only one aside from my parents that called or remembered.

The next morning I got up to go to work it was raining, and oddly I missed my bus again because it just didnt come. My grandmas neigh or texted me and asked me if everything was okay because there were cops at my grandmas. I dialed her number, my aunt answered and sounded completely fine. She asked me if I'd talked to my dad or my brother. I told her I hadn't and asked what was going on. She told me my grandma had passed. I didn't feel anything. It didn't seem real, I mean I had talked to her less than 6 hours ago. There were so many times I was sure I was going to lose her and she had pulled through.

My sister came and got me and we met my brother and my aunt at my grandmas. We got to say goodbye, kiss her on the forehead. It was tough but actually helped, because she looked so calm. She had gotten off the phone with me, cuddled up with her dog and went to sleep. It was a relief because guilt would eat away at me forever if she had fallen, or had some kind of accident that led to the same result.

My grandma was my everything, she was my rock, my bestfriend..just my everything. My sister said one thing that really made me feel better that she had stayed for my birthday, stayed so she could wish me a happy birthday. And that meant more to me than she could ever know.

So now I still haven't dealt with it. I just feel empty, feel nothing most of the time.

Also the ex didn't come home last night. And I couldn't help but think about it all day, that he probably has a girlfriend. And it bothers me, not because I want to be with him or because I'm jealous. I think it just further proves how completely wrong I was about him and our relationship, how little it really meant. And that even though he reassure me that he wanted to be together, that it was lie.

I miss my bestfiriend. Not my boyfriend. To be honest he was a shitty boyfriend. He never remembered anything tho g j asked him to come to. He never did anything cute or nice (except once at the end) he was always putting me down, making me feel like I was annoying him, never kept even one promise he made me. Never followed through on anything he said he'd do.

I made an effort to change so many small things that got on his nerve the only thing I consistently asked of him was to not smoke in the house. In our two room apartment. He never stopped. Did it constantly and still does. What a piece of shit, seriously

I woken up yesterday morning after sleep8ng for a couple of hours nd one side if my face was insanely swollen it's steadiky.gotten worse then better then worse again. We shall see how disfigured I am in the morning

As per my whole life the start of 2018 has not failed to disappoint. The wind chill was -25 to -35 all weekend. I went out for new years eve, big mistake. First of all we didn't even leave until 11:20. I should have assumed this would be the case but of course I always hope for the best.

Highlights of the night

I knocked a fucking drink onto the floor glass shattered and I looked like a dumb Ass.

Some mother**** stole my winter coat. I don't have a spare, nor do I have the money to buy another one. It was 250 or something.

One plus is that I wasn't hungover yesterday!

Then today I wake up and discover i likely have a salivary gland infection. Half of my face is swollen, intense pain when touched. Instantly started my day off great.

Almost late .😑 through no fault of my own. (Cab-passenger wanted to stop at McDonald's and have us wait...when my work is 3 min from my house. They argued about it for a couple minutes and then figured it out.)

Get to work and it's freezing, like the air is literally on and I sit right under a vent. This is what most upset me a out the jacket-i wear my coat 24/7 when I'm at work and I'm st8ll freezing. Now this.

Like nothing phases me any more though, I don't even bother letting myself get upset or angry because there is just no point, it does nothing to help the situation. And I'm so used to it by now I expect this shit.
