Have you seen the tik Tok trend where SOs send their partners dirty texts but with company over, so basically its "sh*t I have to hide my reaction" to "NAH FUCK IT, WE GOTTA GO - NOW - MY ASS AIN'T PLAYING; YOU STARTED DIS SHIT, WE GON FINISH IT!" (I lost that particular tik Tok but it so funny!!! HE WAS SO SERIOUS!) Ranking each Bridgerton couple, how would react spouse react?

Anthony looks down at his phone during Sunday brunch with his in laws, expecting to see a Message from one of his siblings about something inane instead he sees the filthiest message he’s ever seen from his wife. Whose sitting right next to him, her hand in his, carrying in a conversation with her stepmother as if Nothing’s wrong. KATE I NEED TO SEE YOU FOR A MINUTE. He practically yells, seizing her by the upper arm, and dragging her from the room. Mary and Edwina looking perfectly bewildered. They return 10 minutes later and Kate can’t look Mary in the eye for weeks

Sophie sends Benedict the text when they’re at lunch with Colin, a satisfied little smile on her face as Benedict looks down at his phone and let’s out a loud gasp, and a muttered When did you even take that picture?! Sophie keeps her hand on Benedict’s knee the entire time she’s smiling and laughing across the table at his brother. Benedict waits until they’re in the car to make his move

Colin gets the message from Penelope at dinner with her mother. He drags her from the room as soon as Portia Featherington leaves it and feels only slightly bad for having defiled Penelope I’m her Childhood bedroom.

Daphne received the message when she was standing next to her mother. She shrieked a little and nearly dropped the phone. Violet looked questioningly at her and Daphne let out a breathless I just had a fright is all! As she’s furiously responding Later.

Phillip is absolutely appalled to have received such a message from Eloise, and with the children in the room no less! Phillip calls out Oliver Amanda keep working on this! I need to see Your mother! And they’re up the stairs before the twins can even respond

Francesca gets the message in the middle of an awards function. Her eyes narrow and she’s plotting Michael’s demise even as she watches him across the room, her demeanor calm and collected. When they get home she pushes him against the door. Michael is thrilled

Gregory received a text from Lucy in the middle of lunch with his mother. He smirks down at it for a second and he can feel Lucy’s eyes flick in his direction, as he furiously types out an even more filthy response. Lucy blushes bright red when she sees the message prompting Violet to say Lucy, honey are you okay? You look a little flushed. Lucy chokes out I’m fine Mrs. Bridgerton

Hyacinth received the message from Gareth during the Christening of Sophie and Benedict’s son William. She reads it and bursts out laughing, calling out to Gareth Don’t make promises you can’t keep Gareth! And in God’s house no less! Gareth is the one blushing.

I love how we all agree a few things about each couple, whether they are extensively mentioned in the book or not-

Daphne & Simon- Simon is worried about each of her pregnancies and stays with her no matter what.

Anthony & Kate- He doesn't let Kate move a single muscle throughout her recovery of the carriage accident, and that no matter what Kate always wins an argument, even when Anthony thinks he won.

Benedict & Sophie- He doesn't let Sophie so much as lift a finger, Sophie finds it hard because she has worked relentlessly all her life, but he spoils her no matter what.

Colin & Penelope- Colin will somehow find a way to enter 'My Wife' in any conversation whilst eating a sandwich simultaneously.

Eloise & Phillip- Phillip is whipped and even though he is an introvert, he'd socialise for her sake and they'd shag later in the garden.

Francesca & Michael- These two cannot keep their hands off each other no matter what, and Michael worships her every moment. Frannie tenses everytime he so much as coughs and takes care of him all the time.

Hyacinth & Gareth- Gareth doesn't stand a chance when Hyacinth talks. He just has to gulp it, and he loves it. Even when Hyacinth talks about the diamond necklace.

Gregory & Lucy- Lucy constantly keeps things in order and Gregory tugs her towards him and calms her down. He gives her all the love she didn't get growing up and she in return understands just who he is and loves him for that.
