Sometimes thinking about being such a prehistoric beast. Pretty much like a mix of dog and crocodile, if you ask me.
Mekosuchus walking in to shallow pond.
Samll and last land crocodile that lived in what is now new caledonia. Realy amazing lil fella.

I may just be a caiman lizard. An absolutely odd reptile. Weird to the usual human world, sick for some. Not to be understood in the instance of identity. I may be hiding my true self from pretty much everyone.
But I also am that one lizard that works as firefighter. I am the caiman lizard that knows how to read, how to write. I am that caiman lizard with a human body and long forgotten stories from a life that's long gone. I am the one caiman lizard that goes to the gym and likes to look buff in this female body. I am that one tattooed caiman lizard. And I am so much more.
Yes, I am a human now and yes, I'm still very much a lizard on the inside. Some may understand this all as "just another reptile fan" or something. But oh, how little do they know and how little do they understand. And it's not even their fault.

Oh, totally understandable. Maybe we should create a space for rare ones to feel more included? I think the community lacks those spaces. I found one throughout the time in the community but it went silent.
Would that sound like a good thing?
Plus, always tell yourself that we're all in the same boat. Animals in human bodies, minds and lives. That's our life now, no matter if we like it or not. Though, gotta say I kinda like it. We're all trying to understand the human way. The tiger, the wolf, the crocodile, the lizard, the sheep... all of them got similar issues there and most of them miss their old life or possibility to hunt or whatever. We're all connected through our identity. We're all one.
I really feel what you mean about feeling you arenāt really a therian unless youāre a canine or feline. I just started iding as a therian (after years of desperately wishing for floppy ears and literally having a tail phantom limb) literally today. But from what Iāve seen from the community so far. itās almost entirely foxes and coyotes and wolves, and all the resources are for stuff like that.
What if Iām a little sheep???? What gear or fun ways to make things more comfortable for my theriotype do I get???
I feel lonely. I want my flock so bad.
Sorry to dump this all on you, I just wanted to say god do I understand your point.

I mean, I'm a lizard. We're extremely rare. I know two other lizzy fellas. But I learned to not let ruin your day because of the amount of species found within the community. Rather focus on the good things, your friends and supporters. If you cannot find anything focused on sheep, either make yourself something or request stuff on pages that are open for such.
Though, may I ask where you got the "I don't feel like a therian" one from? Because I don't remember saying this. /nm /gen
However, please stay the nice sheep you are. There are many theories on why so many canines exist within the alterhuman community. Might be worth a read! If you need some links, let me know. I'll set up a post then. Maybe they're an interesting read for others as well.
