I love that this project lets me make and share things with friends every year, so it’s extra exciting to co-host this year’s #SciArtSeptember with my friend Lucy, who illustrated this week’s banner. 🌟

It’s that time again. 🌟

This year I’m joined by my wonderful friend Lucy (LucyGemArt on IG) as co-host for #SciArtSeptember. Lucy envisioned this year’s theme of conservation. 🐘 I hope you’ll join us!

As usual, I’m going to treat the list as a sketch-a-day challenge, but we strongly encourage anyone who’s interested to post as (in)frequently as they like, re-post older work, or otherwise participate in whatever way feels best. Interpret the prompts as you like.

My sketches will end up being modest, but joining the group to make something bigger than the sum of its parts keeps me excited to try again. Thank-you, friends.
