There are plenty of valid interpretations for our LU boys, considering the malleable definition of "canon" in our fandom. I really enjoy the dynamics when I give manga-Shadow back to Four. But I also think that, for some of my preferred versions of Four, loss is a major theme of his life and his personality. (I won't write the essay here for now.)

I believe that Four is the kind of person who knows that things change. He doesn't have the same kind of resentment that Legend does about the fact, or hope that it will change like Twilight, but—due to the loss of so many important people in his life, and the inevitability of growing up and losing the Minish, and being one of the more forgotten earlier heroes—I do think he harbors a sort of deep melancholy and acceptance about the flow of time. There's just... a lot to be said for keeping Shadow dead.

Linked Universe resembles another one of my interests in the way that, it feels like you’re taking these established characters who are tied to something existing and playing with them in a big sandbox. So there’s always different exploration and interpretation of a character or scenario, which is always really fun.

I always like seeing peoples different takes on the different characters, someone who may view Legend one way wont interpret him the same as another. There’s also many headcanons…so much to explore yknow?

generally you shouldn't write run-on sentences because they get confusing and it doesn't give the reader a break. that doesn't apply to me though my run-on sentences are fun and understandable and they have a rhythm to it that makes you want to keep reading

dont get me wrong i do love botw and totk but something i think they both lack is the charm of how annoyed other zelda games can make you. im playing skyward sword right now and sometimes i have to take a breath because i just cant get the hang of the motion controls or i have to leave and come back because im going crazy trying to figure out a puzzle. the first few times i used the beetle i wanted to scream. every time i play there is at LEAST one moment where i sit back like "what the fuck am i supposed to do here". and i love it so much. its beautiful
