the   world   seemed   brighter   and   colors   looked   more   vibrant.   the   air   felt   crisper   and   somehow   cleaner.   it   was   difficult   to   explain,   the   feelings   coursing   through   her   body   felt   jumbled   and   out   of   place.   it   felt   foggy   and   out   of   touch.   everything   in   pieces,   coming   back   slowly   but   surely.   tension   was   pulsating   in   her   head,   attention   trying   to   focus   on   one   thing   at   a   time.   magic   was   a   bitch   and   sometimes   it   backfires   when   loopholes   are   taken.   yet,   this   trick   was   worth   it   as   they   escaped   an   impending   doom   that   has   been   lingering.   suffering   the   consequences   of   their   actions   would   be   worth   it   each   and   every   time.   “   i   think   so   but   ugh,   i   feel   like   throwing   up.   ”

“   if   i   don’t   get   ibuprofen,   i   might   have   a   bitch   fit.   ”   she   rubs   hands   across   her   eyes,   they   dilate   to   the   bright   light   illuminating   into   the   bedroom.   “   none   of   us   has   collapsed   and   died   yet   so   it   must’ve   worked.   ”   lizzie   walks   to   the   window   and   looks   at   the   world   they   created,   not   a   prison   world   per   say.   those   were   made   to   be   cruel   and   vain   for   killers.   this   was   for   selfish   reasons   to   prevent   the   death   of   a   twin   :   this   was   for   a   good   cause.   “   everyone   looks   happy   here.   i   say   we   give   ourselves   a   pat   on   the   back.   ”   justification   for   the   forced   decision   they   casted   upon   the   town   :   [   this   never   ends   well.   ]
