Did anyone here ever read Ella Enchanted? Not watch the movie, I mean specifically reading the book.

Sometimes I think about clones resisting the chips to the point of catastrophic failure in the same way that Ella breaks her enchantment at the end of the book. With the whole… frozen in a chair and you can't fight it for yourself and you can't fight it for your family but you CAN fight it for something bigger than you. Silent and unable to talk and pushing back and back and BACK until the curse breaks, almost taking you with it. But once it's gone, it's gone.
