I recently acquired a big beautiful print of Edwin Landseer's 'The Arab Tent' at a thrift of all places, and I love it so much I decided to make a small pastel study of it.
its a bit rough but my focus isn't on creating an exact replica, instead paying close attention to colour and form. I absolutely love the shape of the mare's face in the original artwork, so I put extra care when making my own interpretation.
