unwanted opinion alert:

I feel like the nature of the band being all about mental health and staying alive has unfortunately cultivated a lot of fans developing an unhealthy relationship with twenty one pilots.

which, at first, is very good. having something you rely on to survive is a great way of staying alive in your worst times.

but, when you start to become dependant on it to survive, is when it starts becoming damaging.

some of the reactions to tylers letter have been...concerning to say the least.

especially the ones saying they might kill themselves because of it.

I understand that the band and tyler and josh mean everything to us, and they have saved a lot of people from suicide and depression; but it makes me want to say....maybe some of us need to step back from it all?

those of us who are in a better place, not immediate danger.

maybe its time to learn to live, not from relying on others or something, but relying on ourselves. loving ourselves and being able to be the one to keep us going instead of relying on something that will, unfortunately, inevitably, end.

maybe its time to grow.

Previous polls have already established that a lot of tumblr users don't want children. This poll asks why.

"body is theoretically capable of bearing children" = you have the body parts required to be pregnant. If you've had a procedure that removes the ability to get pregnant (e.g. tubal ligation, hysterectomy, etc), vote as you would have if you had not had that.
