dale kobble headcanons

⨀ his mother committed suicide when he was a toddler and his father was never known. spent most of his childhood in foster care/catholic orphanages until he aged out at 19.

⨀ also started showing overt symptoms of schizophrenia around this age.

⨀ attempted to join the army (primarily to avoid homelessness) but couldn't pass the psych eval

⨀ spent the 60s and 70s drifting up and down the west coast. was probably in San Francisco for a while had some success in the music scene there. would have stayed but the voices compelled him to keep moving. The Harker home was the first place he felt safe staying for any length of time

⨀ has committed more crimes (break ins and robberies mostly) but they haven't been connected to him yet because they don't match the longlegs pattern.

⨀ dysphoric af but doesnt know that. used to fantasize about being castrated and felt like this would make him more pure or holy. doesn't really think about that now, but still isnt comfortable with his body

⨀ weird about hygiene. will layer scented products and baby powder but only gets around to showering once a week or so. goes through phases where he shaves his body hair religiously, and when hes in one of these phases he'll have razor burn and bumps all over

⨀ sorry to the girlies who think hed be a good lay or romantic lover but i genuinely think he'd be repulsed by sex and probably have difficulty getting/staying hard
