Happy birthday to Albert Blithe. Contrary to the miniseries and the belief of many members of Easy, he did not die as a result of the injuries he sustained after Carentan. In real life he continued to serve in the Army and fought in Korea. He was awarded a Bronze and a Silver Star for his bravery during that conflict. He died in 1967 in Germany while still on active duty. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery
#I MISSED MY POOKIES BIRTHDAY NOOOO#kill bill sirens#doc youre so real for seeing a post about blithe and thinking of me btw 💕
