luca had been spaced out from the moment he set foot into the party. throughout the night he had made sure he was standing alone, hoping to get his head straight before he made any kind of interaction at all with anyone. it wasn’t unusual for his head to be up in smokes, but this time he struggled a bit to come back down from his high. his hopes were cut short as he felt another body tumble into his, quickly wrapping his arm around the girl in the hopes that she wasn’t going to fall to the ground. “--having a ball.” he responded quickly, making sure she was upright before he dropped his hands back to his sides. “are you alright though?”

        as it got later into the night, the music seemed to get louder and louder as they filled in the spots between the karaoke numbers. celine, obviously intoxicated seemed to be having the time of her life, even if the dance area was slightly suffocating. it was always better for her to dance than sit by herself, it made her feel more alive. there was truth behind her music and just dance was no exception. it was a distraction and all of the bodies around her built up a great illusion; that she wasn’t alone. losing her footing for a second as she attempted yet another of her questionable dance moves, the woman wrapped her arm around the closest person but continued to bounce to the music, hoping that the movements would cover up the fact that she had just tripped. “are you having fun?” she raised her voice as she attempted to engage in conversation with them.

he was drunk. maybe he would be upset with himself tomorrow morning, but for tonight he wanted to party. he hadn’t been out as much the past five months and he deserved it. he stumbled a bit and sat down next to someone as he now for some reason had a joint and another whiskey glass in his head. “fuck, i’m drunk already.” he let out and cleared his throat as he took a hit of the joint in his hand before blowing it out through his nose and coughed a little bit as he ran his hand through his hair.

luca was a bit shocked as someone stumbled next to him, setting his own drink aside so that he could turn and look at whoever it was. once his eyes had focused, he noticed a very unfamiliar face next to him. “no shit.” he responded harshly before calming his tone a bit, knowing that there was no reason to snap at the other boy. “-- but honestly same. i feel like i’ve been fucked up for hours.”

“sorry come again?” dylan laughed a bit as she pulled her lips from her straw, her margarita taking up her full attention as she felt a presence speak up beside her. “bit uh.. in a daze after my set and needed to indulge..” she mused and scratched the back of her head before offering the individual a grin. “need a drink?”

now this was luca’s kind of person, someone that immediately was going to offer him a drink. “always.” he responded quickly, moving to take a sip of her drink. he knew that wasn’t what she was offering, but for some reason he couldn’t bring himself to get his own. “sharing is caring,” the boy grinned back. “got a performer’s high?”

          1.. 2…. 3… shoot! — her head tossed backward as she felt the cold liquid slide down her throat. she was practically the mother of vodka; not even a flinch before she’s tilting her head back and smiling. she took a sip of some of the juice before she’s darting away from the people she was previously with to go by the pool. without hesitation, the blonde walked down the steps into the pool with a grin across her features. she swam around in the pool to herself for a few moments before she’s spotting someone sitting along the edge of the pool. snežana giggled as she swam to them before propping her arms up on the edge of the pool and smiling at them. “— not going to get in?”

luca’s eyes followed the blonde around the pool. watching other people having a good time while he was stuck sitting on the edge of the pool didn’t sit well with him, but for some reason this girl had brought a smile to his face. she looked like she was having the time of her life, and honestly, it made him want to shed his clothes and get in as well -- but instead he opted for keeping to himself. her voice snapped him out of his thoughts as she appeared much closer than he remembered. “i’m not the world’s best swimmer. plus -- alcohol, swimming, and pretty girls dont always mix”

she’s jumping up and down on the stage – and she’s had way too much to drink, on top of that. it only takes one foot to sway in front of the other, for her to trip – barely catching her footing before she’s ran smack into another’s chest stumbling off the stage. she shakes her head, tucking her hair behind her ears because - it’s everywhere and she’s plastered. “no, no i’m fine.” she pointed to her busted lip. “don’t worry, this was from earlier! before the party!” another laugh. she couldn’t even feel it anymore, in fact, she was convinced she was damn near invincible right now. “why isn’t anyone skinny dipping?” 

to say that he was fucked up was the understatement of the century. after his set, luca watched act after act take the stage,  downing a few shots after each performance. his mind was a haze and his body didn’t even feel like his own, so when the blonde smashed into him it took a few brief moments for him to realize just who was standing in front of him. his initial reaction was to walk away until he noticed the dried blood on her lip. “who.” it wasn’t a question, more of a demand to know what had happened. even though they had broken up, the thought of someone laying a hand on thorn had him seeing red. “woah - don’t change the subject.”

“no, i mean it — ” trev insisted, trying to hold back his laughter. “barbie girl was a fuckin’ bop. musical genius way ahead of it’s time. i mean, it predicted life now, life in plastic, it’s fantastic, undress me anywhere, look at fucking kim kardashian that is her to a tee. she’s naked all the time.” the performance of that old song had long passed, but the debate continued. trev shook is head, took a sip from his glass, minding the pink umbrella poking out of it. “it was a masterpiece, underrated gem of music history, hands down, i will fight you on that.” 

luca threw his head back in laughter, clutching his stomach as he continued to laugh. “wicked, man, i will not argue you on that.” he didn’t know how they’d gotten to this topic, but it had been the best conversation he’d had all night.

“is uh.. this seat taken?” eric grinned a bit as he approached the lone seat, his eyebrow lifting at the person beside it, beer in hand. “need a bit of a break from.. well all that bullshit.” he voiced, his hand motioning over to the crowd by the pool, rolling his eyes a bit. “been pushed in a bit too much and your boy isn’t feelin’ it.” he grumbled and shook it off.

“no -- go for it.” he motioned to the seat next to him, moving to take another hit from the joint he’d been holding. “not really a fan of being in the middle of all of that either. too many unfamiliar faces for me.” luca nodded in agreement before removing the joint from his lips, extending it out to the other male. “you look like you could use a bit of this.”

SPOTTED !!

our resident rocker seemed a bit disoriented as he pulled up to the start of the party. the smudged liner and acid washed denim jacket gave the star a edgy vibe, but still quite messy. when questioned by our crew he remained unresponsive as he brushed past in a haste. eager to join the party or hoping to run into perhaps an old flame?

slight change in the lineup -- rising star, luca, seemed to bring the house down with his powerful vocals from his new single For Your Entertainment . this catchy tune has us wondering if rock music can slowly make its way back up to the top of the billboard charts again
