The sun is shining, the coffee is brewing, and it’s acceptance day all over again! With our first event dropping this past Friday, it’s the perfect time to join in. I’ll be here all evening for your LND needs.

𝕰𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖙 𝖔𝖓𝖊,

     Winter has settled in with a vengeance. Most of the year, the people of Purgatory are lucky to see a day that's partly cloudy. However, hope has been abruptly stomped out for anything above snow-clogged boots and heels, and the residents have taken precaution: sealing windows tight, keeping fires alive and ablaze, and buying out the General Shoppe's entire stock of mittens. For our lovers who have been here for decades, perhaps hundred of years, the bitter colds of the latter part of the year are yet another bitter reminder, or perhaps a mere hinderance, of their stay in Purgatory...

Though daily life has lulled, it hasn't impeded a tradition that has been active since 1967: Gertrude Stein's tea party. A stately staple and hub of the avant-garde, Alice B. Toklas' Bed and Breakfast has long stood as neutral territory between Vices and Virtues, free to debate, chatter, and broken bread even between the most disagreeable of persons. The yearly tea party is an opportunity to bring everyone together under one roof, regardless of desire to leave or stay. Provided with good food, strong drink, and questionable company, it's always been known to be a rather interesting night, though one can't deny how likely old wounds are to be reopened. Their history was not written by being meek, no?

Even so, faithfully, everyone invited shows, even if they don't desire to. There seems to be a strange, compelling force that pulls you towards the Bed & Breakfast on this night. Strange, that. Cold and damp, invitations with tightly scribed ink were sent to each household, addressed to each undead lover, as the first sign of snow fell over Purgatory, blanketing it's citizens and collecting on rooftops that stood high above them.

From Cleopatra to Johnny Cash, those of every era filed into the building, hanging up their coats and preparing for the night with parchment and pen, or a strong drink. The evening hadn't nearly begun, when one resident found the lock on the door to be frozen shut.

Their sight of the outside only lit by snow-drenched lamps flickering in the streets, the windows revealed a blizzard in the making, frosting the glass, and effectively barricading every resident of Purgatory, Vice or Virtue, in.

LENGTH OF EVENT: November 20th - December 7th. Memetide will be temporarily canceled for the duration of the event. SUMMARY: A tradition started in 1967, every citizen has been formally invited to Alice B. Toklas’ Bed & Breakfast for Gertrude Stein’s annual tea party, regardless of Vice or Virtue. Only a few hours into their meeting, they find they’ve been barricaded in by a blizzard. Confined into one building, likened to sardines, conflict is waiting to ensue. Will your character seek to find a way out, wait out the storm, or explore what goes bump in the night in the B&B? Either way, it appears as though nobody is leaving any time soon.
