I know a lot of people get annoyed at Sophie’s “obliviousness” but tbh it never bothered me because even as a kid I understood she wasn’t as oblivious as the characters insist she is, it’s just that her self esteem is low due to how she grew up hearing every single thought about her since she was a kid and at 12 she attended high school where ppl aren’t the nicest inside their mind. It’s why she took a long time to finally admit that fitz actually liked her and won’t reject her.
