Verdant Wind x “The Best is Yet to Come” ft. Aoife Ní Fhearraigh (from the MGS ost) [translated lyrics taken from a fan translation that I’ll add a link to in a reblog, because this site is weird about external links] I’ve been working on this project for over two months, rip… Anyhow! Here’s the completed first piece of the stained glass project that I cut in half. Originally I was going to do an illustration for each route paired with a lyrical song from the MGS series, but uh, I lost motivation because two of the sketches were…not working out at all. So now I’m only doing Verdant Wind and Azure Moon since those were the only two I completed sketches for. But! I am very, very pleased with how this came out, even if I felt like I was fighting the art at every single step. Don’t read too much into the halo, I just needed an artsy way to stop Claude from blending into the background.
