The aluminium from the cans was very sharp so I had to be careful not to get a cut, but other than that it was pretty easy

Tiktok i just found with a hack on using the bottoms of old cans as the base for diy buttons. Make sure to cover the sharp edge with something!

in the spirit of diy or die I'd like to remind yall that there's people, usually small local businesses whose is literally fix clothing

I had a pair of boots that i wore religiously almost every day for five years; had the soles fixed twice by a shoesmaker for less than half of what a new pair would've cost

almost alm of my zippers have broken at least once, local seamstress fixes them for like 10 bucks

yes, making your clothes yourself is good - both in spirit and economically speaking - but you can still pay people for fixes you can't do yourself. it's still punk af to support small traders

i made him for my bf, were making rats that look like ourselves to swap them.

i am so proud of how this little guy turned out, his jacket is looking better than mine, and its fully from scraps and other stuff i still had laying around

added a "misfits" patch, a rat skull patch and a trans anarchy patch, drew some gay stuff one the inside

i gave him piercings to match mine too, and gave his jacket buttons so you can close it! altho it is but tight but it looks better this way.

I wanna see more cultural punk outfits. I wanna see more punks adding their culture to their outfit. I think it would be a neat concept. Embracing your culture and who you are and saying that no one can take that away from you. Fuck racism and fuck anyone who thinks they can take away your culture. Put spikes on your hijab. Wear a black leather jacket with patches of African patterns on it. Punkify that Kilt. Embrace your culture and don’t let anyone take that away from you.
